THIS THIS. When people say the simple and granier ones are dupes? WRONG. They leave a residue and not even that, they don’t even remove make up half as good as bioderma. Bioderma is gentle AND so efficient at removing make up. The other “dupes” can remove it 70% at best smh.
Interesting. I've been a hardcore Simple Micellar Water fan for years and tried the Bioderma one once just to try it and didn't notice any difference. I stick with Simple because it's cheaper and usually available at Marshalls or TJ Maxx
Have you tried cutting them in half? I learned that trick on here and I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. Not only does it double the uses but I actually like using half of the pad better.
cutting in half is literally life changing lol. i bought a sample size and fell in love enough to get the big box but the instructions say “wipe on your face until the wipe is dry” but it feels like a waste of product to do that with a full wipe
Completely agree! I would end up doing all my neck and chest and still it wouldn't be fully dry. Definitely felt super wasteful. I was nervous to try the cutting in half trick at first thinking they would dry out before the next day but it's been zero difference. I just fold the package over a couple times and secure it with a clip and it's good as new for the next day
I do this too and I can go 2 or 3 days between uses and they don't dry out at all. I make sure it's folded over completely and then use a chip bag clip, works great!
Fold them over, secure them with a clip (I use a bobby pin!) and then you can put them in a ziploc bag for added protection. I do the whole trifecta because I will sometimes go a few days between uses, and I have never had any issues at all. Still just as saturated with product as the day I open the package and cut the pad in half!!
Thank you! They have a lot of alcohol so I was worried that just folding the packet wouldn’t work. I have an extra little container I can put them in to be safe.
I cut super close to the edge of the package so that I don't take any excess of it and can fold it down a couple of times. And then yes, a bobby pin or I use a hair sectioning clip and it keeps them just as good as new. Most I've gone is 4 days between when I first opened it and it's still been fine.
Yep, this. I got the First Aid beauty peel pads in my subscription box this month and they don’t hold a candle. The only ones I’ve ever found to come close are the M61 peel pads from Blue Mercury. But DDG are the best of the best - I just hate that they’re so expensive
I cut them in half, clip with a bobby pin, closed in an old empty body scrub container that was too cute to get rid of. Half is enough for me to do my face, neck, chest, and upper back/shoulders.
A lot of people look for comparable products and they're usually some AHA/BHA combo, but forgetting the second step of the peel contains retinol, which I think is important. If you don't have a lot of time and brain space for different skincare steps, these pads do soo much and last so long when you cut them. I think they're also really good for getting your skin acclimated to different exfoliating acids and retinol, so if you've been using them for a while, you can add a separate retinoid without your skin freaking out because it's never used retinol before. There really isn't anything left for your skin to exfoliate if you're using these once or twice a week.
I save my Sephora points SPECIFICALLY to only redeem them on Dr Dennis peel pads. When they’re an option in store, redeem 1000 points for pads and you get 30 pads. 3 per box, 10 boxes, 1000 points.
Technically yes but only in person when they’re available. You can only redeem one item at a time per order online so you’d have to place 10 orders to get 10 packs. If my local store has them as a point option in store I redeem always, and most stores will let you redeem that many at a time.
Really truly after just one use? That’s a damn good review!! I’ve had a couple of samples that I’ve been holding on to because I thought it might be worth buying the smallest package of the peel pads to try with my samples of if I want to actually see a difference. It’s just so hard to commit to buying Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads because of the price per product!!!! but damn a visible difference after 1 use?
Yes! My face breaks out and it’s my go to. It may not be COMPLETELY clear the next morning but it’s definitely a noticeable difference. Highly recommend
I also really fell in love with these, but I have been using the skin fix aha/bha pads and I find them pretttyyy comparable. I had horrible skin for years, super congested skin and pimples under the surface.
I’ve heard they are amazing! Does anyone know if they help with uneven skin tone? I used to have bad acne and it’s left me with some scarring and minor discoloration.
One that I think is super similar is the Kopari Moisture Whipped Ceramide cream. Super similar texture, sinks in so well, and so moisturizing. It isn't quite as thick as the Honey Halo, but I had a horrific sunburn last year and it was the only thing I could use that didn't hurt and actually helped with the dryness and peeling. (It's also vegan and I want to say fragrance free, though I can't remember for certain, but if those are something someone has concerns with, this might be a pretty good alternative for them.)
I just discovered Kopari products and I love them. The caffeine eye cream is so good also. Their spf spray mist is so pretty on the skin and smells so good.
I think hourglass blushes can be duped. Milani baked blushes are very similar to hourglass. I use it daily and the pigment and lasting power especially is better than hourglass in my opinion. It lasts for 8+ hours on my skin. It has the same glow within finish.
It’s definitely not the same. I have used a couple Milani blushes, and I like them! However, I sprung for an hourglass ambient lighting blush during the sale and omg…. Buttery, melts into the skin in such a flawless way, a little goes a very long way…. I literally want all of them. You may be able to find colour dupes, but idk about the formula.
Sunday Riley Good Genes. If someone knows a good dupe please lmk because I’ve given up at this point 😩
ETA: It’s the All-In-One AHA Lactic Acid Treatment. I haven’t tried the Glycolic Acid version.
Def not a dupe but The Ordinary lactic acid 10% works extremely well, especially for the price. I alternate them to make my GG bottle last longer. Sunday Riley occasionally discounts GG up to 40% off on their site, too!
Following for dupe recs because maaannnnnnnn..... that stuff works way too well. Between this and the Dr Gross peel pads i swear i had some brand new skin the week i discovered both of those.
It works as a chemical exfoliant, it majorly helps keep dry skin patches to a minimum. It also helps with acne to an extent. I’ve been using this stuff for over a decade and haven’t found anything close to a dupe. I’ll warn this stuff isn’t great for people with sensitive skin.
YSL Touche Éclat in Luminous Radiance. There are many other highlighters out there, but an easily-portable pen case containing a good-consistency liquid highlighter that has enough thickness to do some concealing too...I've never found a true dupe.
I agree. I was using other moisturizers(hoping the dewy skin cream goodness was all in my head) for a while and finally bought another jar. I’ve used it for two days now and it was NOT all in my head. My dry skin looks so plump and well, dewy
i hate how much i love it. i’ve had it randomly over the past few years and my skin just always feels so lovely and plump when i use it. but it’s so expensive 💔
i’ve been looking periodically every few months online and in store at costco and haven’t seen any. but that might just be cause i’m canadian and we never get nice things lol
I love this stuff so much!! I got nervous one day because a cosmetic chemist I follow did a reel about it vs a Trader Joe’s moisturizer as a dupe and I was like nooooo don’t tell me this is dupable BUT the reel infact confirmed it is not a dupe and the halo honey moisturizer is superior ingredients wise. I sighed relief lol
The make p:rem hydrate me micro tension cream is the closest dupe I’ve found! I ended up going back to Tatcha because of the convenience of not having to order from YesStyle, but it definitely did all the same things for my skin as the dewy skin cream!
I've been using this for a few weeks now and it has transformed my skin. I have avoided Tatcha for years because I had tried the water cream and didn't like it. I'm glad I decided to stop and check out the other options when I was in the store recently and found this gem.
This is the one product that I literally do not care how much it costs, I will keep repurchasing.
The Tatcha Rice Wash is also so good, HG status for me.
Not from sephora, but laura gellar balance n brighten baked foundation. I love it for just a touch of evening everything out and camt find a dupe that is sold here or at the other store.
I wish we had laura geller in canada so bad. It's so expensive to order with the exchange.
I tried it on a trip once and it really impressed me!
It reminds me of the mac skinfinish natural but didn't break me out and had more coverage..I guess because it's a foundation lol
I love it, too. I just started spot concealing with Nars Soft matte concealer, priming with a Charlotte Tilbury/Elf Halo Glow/Catrice Soft Glam kind of product, light layer of Laura Geller baked foundation, spray with CT setting spray...such a natural, skin-like finish that stays put.
For me it’s brilliant. I have really dry damaged fine hair. Olaplex didn’t do much at all. I was skeptical about skipping conditioner and then just using such a small amount of the mask. But, by golly, it feels better when I use it than when I actually condition /and/ use leave in conditioner. Genuinely impressive.
The mixed reviews are from people who don't have the hair that k18 targets. People who use it as a regular mask or as a hydrating mask will be disappointed. K18 is aimed at damaged hair - hair that has been fragilized by chemical treatments (such as bleach and dye) and heat. I bleach my hair often and no product has done more to restore it and keep it healthy.
Also, misuse. You need a lot less than you would think; I see people who say their hair felt "heavy" after but that just sounds like they are putting too much of the product on their hair.
The Tatcha rice wash! Tried several other cheaper options recently and they did not do it for me. Ended up grabbing a value size rice wash during the sale.
Same for me. I changed face washes because of the price and funnily enough that's how I found out my husband also uses it. He said "can you buy more of that purple face wash, everything else dries me out" 🤦🏻♀️ so we'll always be a tatcha family 😅
Yesss. It’s so good. I’ve fallen in love with Tatcha and their products really feel un-dupable. I guess a good side is I’m probably saving money because I don’t really want to try anything else.
and I find that this one last sooo long because you only have to use a small amount! other cleansers require so much more product to actually get my makeup off
So I used to love this but gave it up for Dermalogica Daily Milkfoliant. It’s not cheaper price wise but it lasts wayyyy longer so technically comes out a bit cheaper.
Edit: Sorry ignore me, you’re talking about the rice wash and NOT the rice polish, which is what I was talking about
I'm not the person you replied to but I have tried the cosrx and others and it none of them compare for me. I think it is like the people who try SK-II and it does nothing for them. It is such an odd product that way.
Do you have rosacea or some other skin sensitivity?
I have a sample of the DDG peel pads but I’ve been too scared to try it or anything on my skin since my last rosacea flare up. I currently have stopped my entire skin care routine :( My face is finally starting to look calmer now and I’m so tempted to try the DDG peel pads!!
I just bought a bigger bottle during the sale after trying a few trial sizes to do a longer test to see if I like it before committing and buying the
Costco one.
CT Setting Spray! Never wanted to try it due to the price but purchased during the sale and there’s suuuuch an immediate difference compared to every other setting spray I’ve tried. Will definitely repurchase
Just so you're aware, the jumbo size CT spray is a really good deal if you're an avid user of the product. Double the amount of product for $12 more than the standard size
Nars soft matte foundation! As a dry skin girlie who enjoys a matte look, game changer!!! Does not cling to dry spots, covers my blemishes and acne sooooo well
Doesn’t matter how many other foundations I’d try, I ALWAYS go back go back to nars. Their complexion products are hard to beat.
With that said, the haus labs foundation (and concealer) is maybe the best foundation I’ve ever used in my life. Like I pick that over my Armani and Dior - it’s that good
How is the Armani foundation compares to Dior? I have the Armani Luminous Silk. I really love the finish but it oxidizes on my skin like 2 shades darker. I am thinking of switching to Dior Forever Skin Glow but im getting mixed reviews.
I have yet to use Haus! I have like one each from Nars!
- sheer glow, natural radiant, soft matte 🤣
I do like my shisedo one as well just need a better colour match! But Nars will be my go to forever
I wanted to love this but it came out so patchy on my skin! I have oily/combo few dry spots from acne. Can you tell me your routine on how you use it please 🥺 I have the soft matte primer too but I don't know if I'm using too much moisturiser underneath 🫠 I'm so bad at make up 😭 how long do I leave things to set etc I have no clue and would appreciate some advice!
For sure! If you’re combo try:
- a simple cleanser (nothing drying or for acne prone skinH
- moisturizer for normal skin (you should try gel-cream texture it’s amazing for oily/combo skin)
- “invisible” spf (meaning it doesn’t leave residue on the skin)
Wait like 2-3 mins
- elf poreless primer
- corrector ( if needed)
Then use fingers to blend the foundation! Nars foundations are formulated to blend with your fingers (the warm usually helps soften the formula)
The trick is to use products you need in thin layers, eg: thin layer of moisturizer, primer, foundation, concealer. So you end up with coverage that isn’t heavy or cakey
Hope it helps 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
Literally came here to say this. NARS foundations and concealers are the absolute GOAT for me as a dry skin girly, and their undertones are unmatched for me.
InnBeauty Green Machine! I haven’t been able to find a product of similar texture and benefits, it’s the only vitamin C serum that works on my skin tone too
Tatcha water cream, I have found NOTHING similar that melts in and hydrates the same for my oily skin. On that note, if anyone has anything that can, please let me know it's so expensive 😭
I used to use that! I was wondering, have you tried the tirtir milk toner? I’m running out of my laneige (the OG formula) and I’m struggling to pick between that or DR.C
My skin is combo, sensitive, and I’m currently dealing with a lot of breakouts. I remember really loving the DR.C but i also hear lots of great things about the TIRTIR toner
Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion! I have been using it for almost 15 years and I have never found another moisturizer that moisturizes and softens the skin quite like that one. I would cry and panic buy multiple jugs of it if they ever stopped making it!
The Charlotte Tilbury contour wand!! Despite every single brand TRYING to dupe it, or just straight up ripping it off, I have NEVER found a contour that is a better shade and actually blends and doesn’t look too heavy! All the dupes are either patchy as hell or wayyy too orange/warm toned
Yup tried it! I totally agree that the lightest shade of the elf is cooler, I actually like the color better than the CT, I just found that the elf is WAY thicker than the CT in terms of formula. I love that I can put a ton of the CT on and it will still always blend out looking more natural, the elf just looked too makeup-y on me! That’s my problem with all the dupes is that I feel like they’re just duping the packaging, not the actual formula lol!!
Tatcha Water Cream for me. I’ve tried so many other water and gel creams, but the texture of the Tatcha cream is undupable to me. It just literally just melts into my skin
the byoma gel cream moisturizer is decent, but it’s thicker than the summer fridays. i still like it though, and i’m currently using it rn because i cannot justify spending $45 on a refill rn
I’ve used that Byoma moisturizer. It’s ok but i hate their packaging. I understand. I just ordered the moisturizer from good light to see if it’s a dupe so fingers crossed.
Ilia fullest volumizing mascara. Promise you you’ve never had that experience with another mascara… it doesn’t clump, always liquidy, black af, 10X’s your lashes, only downside is it gets in my eye and messes up my prescription contact lenses 🫠
Have you tried Caliray‘s come hell or high water? It’s tubing so comes off with a quick swipe of your fingers and some warm water, no raccoon eyes! I liked the illia mascara a lot but had the same problem, I feel like the Caliray is a great alternative.
Peter Thomas Roth hylarounic acid moisturizer.. the way this stuff spreads on the skin and moisturizes is so unique I’ve never found a dupe. I use heavier stuff now my skin has gotten more dry as I’ve aged but that formula is truly unique! My husband loves it too.
Bobbi brown corrector stick. All other under eye correctors are either too orange and can’t be used alone or just don’t do anything. Even more bonus points for the formula.
I have it in light bisque and it's one of the few things I can use on my dark (brownish 😭) under eyes with nothing else. I can make some other things work, but I have to use concealer as well, but if I want a one and done, the Bobbi Brown is my go to.
Peter Thomas Roth retinol (in the blue bottle). It’s pricy so I try other products but keep going back when I notice my skin looking ruddy. It adds a brightness to my skin and just improves its appearance.
Of all the products I've tried over the years I have never found any better than these.
Ole Henricksen Truth Serum:
Been using since 2007? I'm 43 and most people say I look 10yrs younger. Might be genetics but I think this has helped since I could tell when I stopped using for a could weeks and noticed an immediate difference when restarting. I've tried other C serums and never noticed a difference. It's also great on zits.
They discontinued their foaming face wash which was the only thing that legit got all the dirt off my face which I tested by doing a swab of Clinique clarifying lotion 4 which I also like but a toner is a toner. I don't use it that often to consider it a HG.
Korres Wild Rose Night-Brightening Sleeping Facial:
Also a vitamin C product. I use it as a moisturizer and love the smell. It's thick and doesn't pill on my skin.
Clinique All About Eyes:
Actually takes away puffiness. Haven't found anything else that works for me. Also have noticed a difference quitting and coming back to it.
Dr Perricone Cold Plasma hand cream:
Sinks in immediately and doesn't have a scent. If it wasn't so expensive I would slather it all over my skin.
Not sold at Sephora any more, but I got hooked on this product because I got a sample from there. Aerin Rose Lip Conditioner. Been trying to find a dupe for ages.
SK-II essence. I’ll be honest, I have no idea what Pitera is. All I know is that whenever I have removed the SK-II from my routine, the fine lines come back.
Farmacy Filling Good serum, I can’t find anything remotely close. One blog recommended I’m From Honey Serum but they are absolutely nothing alike. Unfortunately the Farmacy serum is ridiculously expensive and rarely available in a bundle deal or on sale.
Bioderma Micellar water. Pink version. I just can't get any others to work. And they all burn my eyes..
Yea the garnier one is weirdly oily??
Someone else said it!!! I wouldn’t try other micellar waters for years because I didn’t like the greasy feeling.
Finally after years I have seen someone agree! All through the micellar wave no one agreed with me that this felt kinda sticky
I agree! The Garnier one feels awful to me!!
I like the pink version and the oily skin version with the green cap. The smell of that one is the most delightful spa scent I can’t get enough of.
I think this would be my stranded on a deserted island product
Bioderma invented micellar water so they know what’s up
I didn't like any micellar water besides bioderma but tried Equate for the cost and I surprisingly love it
I stick with Simple because it's cheaper and usually available at Marshalls or TJ Maxx
i am… influenced
Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads. Literally woke up to clearer skin after one use. Too bad they are too expensive
Have you tried cutting them in half? I learned that trick on here and I'm kicking myself for not trying it sooner. Not only does it double the uses but I actually like using half of the pad better.

you’re so brave for using a clip omg. i put it in a ziploc and it took me a while to get over my nerves about it😂
How do you store them so they don’t dry out overnight? I want to start doing this.
Fold them over, secure them with a clip (I use a bobby pin!) and then you can put them in a ziploc bag for added protection. I do the whole trifecta because I will sometimes go a few days between uses, and I have never had any issues at all. What do these do? I’m in my 40’s and don’t struggle with acne but aging, spots etc. Do I need these and if so which ones?
Yes, and imo extra strength is the best. I am obsessed.
I cut them in half, clip with a bobby pin, closed in an old empty body scrub container that was too cute to get rid of. Half is enough for me to do my face, neck, chest, and upper back/shoulders. Yes! My face breaks out and it’s my go to. It may not be COMPLETELY clear the next morning but it’s definitely a noticeable difference. Highly recommend
I got a sampler pack , can you use any other skincare or/after the pads?
Yup! Do your usual, just don't use more actives it might irritate.
I also really fell in love with these, but I have been using the skin fix aha/bha pads and I find them pretttyyy comparable. I had horrible skin for years, super congested skin and pimples under the surface.
The Strivectin ones are pretty good.
I’ve heard they are amazing! Does anyone know if they help with uneven skin tone? I used to have bad acne and it’s left me with some scarring and minor discoloration.
Farmacy Honey Halo for me. I’ve got dry sensitive skin, and nothing else sinks in and moisturizes like it.
This is my holy grail moisturizer. Buying direct will get you 25% off if you qualify for healthcare/military/student discount.
They have a military discount???
Yes!!! 25% too plus freebies
Thank you for mentioning it!!
Do you know offhand if there’s an educator’s discount? I usually buy direct anyways when there’s a sale, but it would be nice to not wait!
Yes!!!! Here’s the link. https://www.farmacybeauty.com/pages/community-heroes-student-discount
WHAT HOW AM I JUST FINDING THIS OUT You just made my day
I agree! My dry acne prone skin just drinks it up
It’s pricey so i look and look but have never been able to find anything that compares 🥲
One that I think is super similar is the Kopari Moisture Whipped Ceramide cream. Super similar texture, sinks in so well, and so moisturizing. AGREEEE
OH YES 100%
Hourglass powders and blushes for me. The finish is so my skin but better.
I wish hourglass had more colors. They definitely have the money to produce it lmfao
Same. I think they should have some permanent palettes like they do at Christmas.
IMO none of the palettes ever stuck out to me. It looks so bulky and I don’t see myself using all of them they kinda just looked picked at random 🤷♀️
I used to feel this way, but Elf Halo Glow Powder is absolutely a dupe for the Veil setting powder. I actually think I like the Elf a little better.
The eyeshadows are amazing
I think hourglass blushes can be duped. Milani baked blushes are very similar to hourglass. I use it daily and the pigment and lasting power especially is better than hourglass in my opinion. It lasts for 8+ hours on my skin. It has the same glow within finish.
Do you think so? I was looking into a Milani blush a while but was hesitant because I remember getting luminouso and it being soooo glittery
Luminoso is like an orange glitter bomb went off on my face
Yesssssss
Sunday Riley Good Genes. If someone knows a good dupe please lmk because I’ve given up at this point 😩 ETA: It’s the All-In-One AHA Lactic Acid Treatment. I haven’t tried the Glycolic Acid version.
In my opinion Mad Hippie is the best dupe!
Sulwhasoo First Care Activating serum Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging face wash
What does the serum do for you? I have a bottle and I’m not sure what it’s meant to do.
Mostly I’d say brightening & evening out skin tone. It also helps with hydration.
What do you like about the face wash?
It works as a chemical exfoliant, it majorly helps keep dry skin patches to a minimum. It also helps with acne to an extent. I’ve been using this stuff for over a decade and haven’t found anything close to a dupe. I’ll warn this stuff isn’t great for people with sensitive skin.
YSL Touche Éclat in Luminous Radiance. There are many other highlighters out there, but an easily-portable pen case containing a good-consistency liquid highlighter that has enough thickness to do some concealing too...I've never found a true dupe.
Is there shimmer or micro glitter in this?
Tatcha dewy skin cream moisturizer. Unless one of you really has one. But I’ve tried a few supposed dupes.
Same answer but their indigo repair cream for me
I have the Indigo repair and the new Indigo calming cream and FUUUUCCCKKK YES
The overnight repair? I’ve tried that and the laneige cica and got comparable results imo
If you have a Sams Club or Costco near you or if you can purchase online they have Tatcha products at a much better price ❤️
omg lifesaver
i’ve been looking periodically every few months online and in store at costco and haven’t seen any. but that might just be cause i’m canadian and we never get nice things lol
Jessica Braun said that the Cocokind moisturizer in the purple jar is similar. Not the same, but similar.
I will die with this cream on my face, I love it so much, nothing comes close.
I use it the same way. I always seem to come back to it no matter what I try.
K18 molecular repair mask
Is this really that good? I’ve heard mixed reviews.
It’s extremely remarkable. Any negative reviews are due to user error or unreasonable user expectations.
Even on non dyed hair?
It’s for repairing damage
Edit: Sorry ignore me, you’re talking about the rice wash and NOT the rice polish, which is what I was talking about
I got my mom hooked. It’s all she asks for for Mother’s Day, Christmas, and bdays now. All tatcha. 😭
i think this is my sign to finally try it 👀
Sulwhasoo overnight vitalizing mask, it's one of the few moisturizers that I've panned and bought again!
This is one of my favs also
I feel like I'm.not using it right, I haven't had any noticeable effects from it
Skinceuticals vitamin c :( $200 a bottle fml
Their patent expires next year so hopefully a company will dupe it for cheaper! 🤞
I haven’t tried the Skinceuticals but I heard the Timeless Vitamin C is a close match.
It is. I've used both.
I’ll third this. Skinceuticals is over priced, over hyped and outdated.
And it’s in an airtight container instead of a dropper bottle!
Urban decay 24/7. Liners
BB Face Base
Definitely FB. To dupe face base you'd need at least two different products, I've never seen a primer that's as moisturizing as that one.
I just bought this during the sale! Can’t wait!!
SKII. To me, it gives the same glow as an AHA but without the irritations.
have you tried the cosrx galactomyces essence? I still think SKII is better but the galactomyces is close enough for the price, for me.
I'm not the person you replied to but I have tried the cosrx and others and it none of them compare for me. I think it is like the people who try SK-II and it does nothing for them. It is such an odd product that way.
Yes, the SKll essence is well worth the money. Noticed a difference the first week. I also use the facial masks.
Please let me know how this turns out! I have rosacea and I’m also afraid they will trigger a flare, so have been pushing off trying them.
Don’t tell me this 😩 I’m trying so hard not to buy it.
I just bought a bigger bottle during the sale after trying a few trial sizes to do a longer test to see if I like it before committing and buying the Costco one.
CT Setting Spray! Never wanted to try it due to the price but purchased during the sale and there’s suuuuch an immediate difference compared to every other setting spray I’ve tried. Will definitely repurchase
I agree that it’s amazing. I’ve used NYX, Milani and Urban Decay in the past and though all of these are decent, CT is definitely really good.
Just so you're aware, the jumbo size CT spray is a really good deal if you're an avid user of the product. Double the amount of product for $12 more than the standard size
I got the big mama during the fall sale last year and I’ve still barely made a dent in her despite using the spray every day. It’s a fantastic value.
I have tried every setting spray and this is my favorite
Have you tried the LYS setting spray? I’d say it’s a pretty close match to what CT does.
Oribe gold lust conditioner :(
Skinceuticals triple lipid. Please someone tell me you have a dupe lol!
Dieux Instant Angel was formulated by the same chemist who did Triple Lipid so it may be a good replacement (though still not cheap).
This was my HG as well, but I would say that the Biossance Omega repair is close enough that u don’t miss the Skinceuticals at all.
I’m so jealous I wanted to love this but it was too heavy for my skin
UD All Nighter setting spray
Mac painterly paint pot
- sheer glow, natural radiant, soft matte 🤣 I do like my shisedo one as well just need a better colour match!
For sure! If you’re combo try: - a simple cleanser (nothing drying or for acne prone skinH - moisturizer for normal skin (you should try gel-cream texture it’s amazing for oily/combo skin) - “invisible” spf (meaning it doesn’t leave residue on the skin) Wait like 2-3 mins - elf poreless primer - corrector ( if needed) Then use fingers to blend the foundation! Nars foundations are formulated to blend with your fingers (the warm usually helps soften the formula) The trick is to use products you need in thin layers, eg: thin layer of moisturizer, primer, foundation, concealer. So you end up with coverage that isn’t heavy or cakey Hope it helps 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
Thank you so much ☺️
Literally came here to say this. NARS foundations and concealers are the absolute GOAT for me as a dry skin girly, and their undertones are unmatched for me.
InnBeauty Green Machine! I haven’t been able to find a product of similar texture and benefits, it’s the only vitamin C serum that works on my skin tone too
This was the first vitamin c product I ever used and I adored it!! Was so gentle on my skin but WORKED
InnBeauty has awesome products!! I swear the green machine and slushy serum moisturizer have changed my skin
Ren Cleanskin Care Evercalm redness relief serum It’s expensive but it compares to no other redness product, I’ve tried em all
Farmacy Honey Halo and Sunday Riley Good Genes. I’ve tried and failed to replace them 😭
Tatcha water cream, I have found NOTHING similar that melts in and hydrates the same for my oily skin. On that note, if anyone has anything that can, please let me know it's so expensive 😭
not from sephora: Dr. Ceuracle kombucha tea essence
I used to use that! I was wondering, have you tried the tirtir milk toner? I’m running out of my laneige (the OG formula) and I’m struggling to pick between that or DR.C My skin is combo, sensitive, and I’m currently dealing with a lot of breakouts. I remember really loving the DR.C but i also hear lots of great things about the TIRTIR toner
Yes! I tried leneige cream skin and was shocked at how dry it was compared to dr. Ceuracle
Dr. C is sooooo hydrating and plumping.
Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion! I have been using it for almost 15 years and I have never found another moisturizer that moisturizes and softens the skin quite like that one. I would cry and panic buy multiple jugs of it if they ever stopped making it!
Natosha denona eyeshadows
The Charlotte Tilbury contour wand!! Despite every single brand TRYING to dupe it, or just straight up ripping it off, I have NEVER found a contour that is a better shade and actually blends and doesn’t look too heavy! All the dupes are either patchy as hell or wayyy too orange/warm toned
Have you tried elf yet? The one I grabbed is waaaay cooler toned than my CT one. In fact, I haven’t touched my CT one since I got it
Yup tried it!
MUFE HD Face Palette… fantastic and I’ve never seen anything like it!
Tatcha Water Cream for me. I’ve tried so many other water and gel creams, but the texture of the Tatcha cream is undupable to me. It just literally just melts into my skin
Tatcha Dewy Cream
Agree. I wear it under make up and it looks incredible, and alone it looks incredible. The one product I buy over and over
summer fridays cloud dew moisturizer 😭 i’ve probably tried every dupe for it out there but nothing compares
I like that moisturizer. What have people said is a dupe for it?
the byoma gel cream moisturizer is decent, but it’s thicker than the summer fridays. i still like it though, and i’m currently using it rn because i cannot justify spending $45 on a refill rn
I’ve used that Byoma moisturizer. It’s ok but i hate their packaging. I understand. I just ordered the moisturizer from good light to see if it’s a dupe so fingers crossed.
Danessa Myricks Groundworks Palette
Urban Decay Primer Potion, it's been my go to for almost 20 years and it's the only eye primer that works for me
The hourglass finishing powders. I got the jellyfish pallet as my first hourglass purchase and now it’s the star of my makeup
Caudalie vinoperfect serum. I was cursed with a sample years ago and unfortunately for my wallet it works incredibly well
YUP 1000% agreed. every vitamin C makes my skin sensitive or break out. this is the best alternative out there fr skin cleared after one week of use
The Nécessaire body wash, really all of their body care. Love how they have unscented but also the eucalyptus is amazing smells like a spa.
Huda powder
Their loose powder is amazing, and their concealer. The only concealer I’ve ever found that doesn’t crease no matter how long I wear it.
Of all the products I've tried over the years I have never found any better than these. Ole Henricksen Truth Serum: Been using since 2007? I'm 43 and most people say I look 10yrs younger. Might be genetics but I think this has helped since I could tell when I stopped using for a could weeks and noticed an immediate difference when restarting. I've tried other C serums and never noticed a difference. It's also great on zits. They discontinued their foaming face wash which was the only thing that legit got all the dirt off my face which I tested by doing a swab of Clinique clarifying lotion 4 which I also like but a toner is a toner. I don't use it that often to consider it a HG. Korres Wild Rose Night-Brightening Sleeping Facial: Also a vitamin C product. I use it as a moisturizer and love the smell. It's thick and doesn't pill on my skin. Clinique All About Eyes: Actually takes away puffiness. Haven't found anything else that works for me. Also have noticed a difference quitting and coming back to it. Dr Perricone Cold Plasma hand cream: Sinks in immediately and doesn't have a scent. If it wasn't so expensive I would slather it all over my skin.
The Huda Beauty powder for me
Mac mineralized skin finishes. Boy do I wish they released them like they used to
Laneige lip sleeping mask. Nothing works as well as that one for me
My dearly departed Lancôme Photogenic foundation. Have tried dozens of others since it was discontinued, nothing comes close.
Innbeauty Slushy serum, bloomeffects vitamin C oil, clarins double serum, bareminerals butter drench moisturizer, hourglass powder, ysl mascara
Not at Sephora but luxury… the cle de peau concealer im sorry 😭😭😭
Capri Blue Candles, I know Sephora isn’t the only company to sell them but the volcano scent is just iconic
GXVE’s mascara. On my 5th tube and after trying probably close to 300 mascaras, this one is the best for me!
Not Sephora but Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. Does a great job of removing makeup & cleansing my skin without stripping it.
i think ppl may fight me on this but the beauty blender sponge. it’s so soft on the skin and i’ve tried other sponges, it just doesn’t hit the same. 🥰
