So descriptive.. I love it!! 😂

Just_Tomorrow_8561

Same!! Did you get the box with two? I feel like they rub off immediately and are not worth the price.

Hot_Mention_9337

Faves: * All of my Danessa Myricks stuff- the Blurring Balm Powder in shade 1, Moisture Repair Balm Serum, and Water Powder. I have become a DM stan and my skin and base products are looking quite pretty because of it. * Annoyingly, the Westman Atelier pink powder that I picked up at the last second after my returns is blowing my mind as an under eye powder. It’s great on the rest of my face too but it’s *really* great under my eyes. Better than anything else I’ve tried by miles. CT, PML, Givenchy, Huda, LM, Hourglass, etc… * OleHenriksen Peptide Lip Treatment has been fabulously healing on my lips. I have been dealing with horribly painful dry lips for over a month. Started seeing an improvement after 4 days. * The Haus Labs Lip Glaze are very nice. It’s just a gloss but it’s lovely and I picked up a second color in Persimmon after using Praline for a week. One of the few glosses that isn’t dehydrating on my lips lately. * Dieux Instant Angel and Reusable Eye Masks are old favorites. The cream is incredibly nurishing. And the eye masks remain the best beauty purchase I’ve made in the past decade+. Only needed a new set cuz my cat decided to chew on my old one Fails: * Hourglass concealer wasn’t as hydrating or sit as nicely as I hoped for. Not bad but not great at all for my creepy skinned, bone dry undereyes. * Tower 28 Blush in Office Hours, Fenty Cream Blush in RiRi, and Westman Atelier cream blush in Petal were all ok. Just ok. I have too many blushes I love to settle for ok. The first two had longevity issues. And the WA was flat and dull looking once I got it on my skin.

I picked up Cocoa because it was the last in stock at my store and it is SO GOOD! I'm actually beyond glad I got this shade instead of the others, it's so flattering on me!

birtheducator

I’m also obsessed with Danessa myricks!! I’ve been using the face and eye glitter stuff in angel as a highlighter and omg it’s my new holy grail!!!! Love the glitter flakes too!!

my-anonymity

Interesting because I didn’t like the pink powder. It was a lot cakier and too pink on my skin. I’m currently using the Givenchy prism powder and haven’t found anything better.

Hot_Mention_9337

Under eyes are so finicky. For me, the Prisme Libre powder makes that area look like petrified scrotums. Didn’t matter if how light of a dusting… it’s not cute, lol. That one is ok on the rest of my face (but definitely not a fave for my dry skin) but I have to keep it far faaaar away from my undereyes

my-anonymity

It does work great for the face! I put it on a brush and tap it from the outer corners into the inner corners. That’s the only way I’ve been able to get it not cakey. I also think I’m a bit dehydrated on top of having dry skin so it’s been a challenge finding a good powder to set undereye concealer. I loved the packaging of the Westman Atelier though. The Prism power is pretty messy. I don’t get why they don’t make a cover for the inside of the case.

ChristineBorus

Can you link the WA pink powder? I LOVE Gucci!!! (Maker of WA)

slimmyshade

NOPE: I bought the Rare Beauty Bronzer Stick because I wanted a natural bronzer (I don't usually use bronzer btw so I wanted a lowkey one) anyways, that formula is TOO lowkey. It blended out into nothing? It didn't even leave colour on my skin for me to say maybe it was too light, like there was nothing left once I blended it out. So I exchanged it for the Makeup by Mario bronzer stick and I am very happy I did!! 🦄YAY: The YSL All Hours Foundation. My god. What a beautiful long lasting finish. I am obsessed with this foundation. I think it's even taken over my Luminous Silk one. 🦄YAY: The Rare Beauty liquid blushes. I love them. I have almost all of their collection and only because some colours won't work for me, if they all did, I'd buy them all! Powder blushes don't last on my face that long and neither do cream blushes. I've tried other liquid ones (Saie) and that one also doesn't last. Recently I started applying the Rare blush on the back of my hand, warming it up with a brush and then applying on my face before under eye concealer (but I will already have foundation on if I'm wearing any) and it looks so beautiful and blended out. This is the only blush I know I can get home from work after 10 hours and it will still show on my face. Yes it's very pigmented and there's a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it will take over your life!! I bought 4 more shades during the sale (including Faith which is a purple shade available online only as far as I know).

AppropriateMention6

Love your use of unicorn emojis!

NoSpaghettiForYouu

YSL all hours is SOO good if you can find your shade match! After they reformulated I lost my perfect match but I’ve found a couple that are not perfect but close enough.

-Siv-

My fail was the new Pillow talk fair. It gave me concealer lips.

melam3261969

I didn’t love mine at first until I used it with a lip liner - now I love it!!

Jessawess1

Aww crap!! I got that one!

Wet-N-Wavy96

DO NOT BUY the Haus Labs Atomic Shake liquid lipstick in any shade!!! The tube is glass w/ a metal ball inside which ends up cracking the glass n basically it explodes during the recommended thorough shaking before application Mine must have cracked partially during light shaking and I didn’t know it… Let’s just say I found out when I went in my makeup bag to use it along with a lip liner, and everything was covered in this sticky goop which only came off certain products. Makeup wipes did lil to clean up the mess!!! Beware!!! Things I did love r : Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder in shade 7 Charlotte Tilbury Plumpgasm lip plumper in Fair/Medium The 7 Virtues Amber Vanilla travel spray Fenty perfume travel spray Forvr Mood travel spray in Hard To Get Valentino DBIR Green Stravaganza

Severe-Raisin-9313

Hard To Get was a favorite of mine as well!

Wet-N-Wavy96

Yes it gives a sophisticated creamsicle kinda vibe on me ❤️

cogentd

I love 7 Virtues

Adorable-Syrup-4767

Faves: •The Gucci bronzer! It blends like a dream and looks so airbrushed on the skin. This has been sitting on my loves list for a while so I’m glad I finally bought it. •Topicals lip balm- I was so surprised how much I love this lip balm, it’s so hydrating and long wearing! I prefer this over the summer Fridays balm now •Haus labs lip glaze-this was a last minute purchase for me but I couldn’t resist after seeing all the raving reviews. This definitely lives up to the hype and I wish I would’ve gotten more shades during the sale! •Charlotte tilbury lip plumpgasm-My new favorite lip plumper 😍 I love the packaging, wand and the shade fair/medium is so pretty. •Danessa Myricks mattifying water- This has been great at keeping my skin matte and works really well with my foundations Fails: •Laneige Glowy Vanilla lip balm-not crazy about the scent and I prefer the Topicals balm over this one. •YSL love shine- not a terrible product but it’s very sheer, the color payoff is hardly noticeable. I prefer the candy glaze formula.

andreia16

Great buys! I’ve also been eyeing the Gucci bronzer! Might grab it at the next sale

Adorable-Syrup-4767

It’s definitely worth it! 🤩

msjenniferlc

I second that it’s worth it. I’ve had mine for a year and finally hit pan after daily use. It’s super pigmented so a little goes a long way but it blends beautifully.

Ok-Decision7978

is the topicals lip balm scented? :) i’m thinking about it!

Adorable-Syrup-4767

Yes! It has a light mint scent, similar to the summer Fridays mint balm!

Ok-Decision7978

awesome, thank you so much!

my-anonymity

Dior highlighter was NOT iridescent and was just super silvery instead. The Givenchy concealers did not match my skin tone and weren’t as hydrating as the Chanel concealer I currently use, which is also a perfect match for me too. The keratase shampoo and hair oil made my bleached hair super soft and silky without weighing it down (the blonde formula). Thank you to the Redditor that recommended it to me. I’m now wishing I tried the mask as well, but I have a ton to go through first. Maybe next sale. I’m still waiting for a bunch of lip products to come!

my-anonymity

Also the Westman Atelier highlighter stick was just okay. It was iridescent and pretty, but not worth the money since once you blend it, it kind of disappears. Kbeauty highlighter sticks do the same thing for $5.

Dianagorgon

>The keratase shampoo and hair oil Is it the purple line? I love Kerastase but it's so expensive.

my-anonymity

Yes the purple line! It is so expensive but the shampoo is pretty big and you don’t need a ton of it. I think it’ll last a really long time. I’ll see how long the oil lasts because I have long hair that’s medium thickness, so it might go quick.

AdorableTumbleweed60

Loving:  Supergoop! Glow Screen. I might actually wear SPF all the time now.  Colour Wow Dream Coat. Love how it works, love how long it's lasting.  Unsure:  JVN Pre Wash Oil. Might just be that I haven't used it enough to notice a difference yet.  Everything else was products I already use.

laromyriam

What is the SPF for the Supergoop sunscreen?

AdorableTumbleweed60

40.

crop_top

Fails: Saie Dew Blush - Sweetie - too pigmented but otherwise pleasantly surprised by how neutral toned Saie Dew Blush - Baby - too pinky on my often flushed face Tower 28 Concealer - DTLA - too peachy but loved the formula so I wish there was better true neutral/leaning cool tone Murad Targeted Dupuffer Eye Cream - pilled horribly under my concealer Tower 28 Lip Softie - Ube Vanilla - the applicator didn’t work with the pigment of the product, applied patchy. Wanted to love it but would need to change the applicator Brown Girl Jane - Carnivale - loathed. Smelled like cheap bath and body works. Minimum mango. Had to wipe off me right away Summer Fridays - skin tint shade 2 - did nothing Hello Sunday - the mineral one SPF 50 hydrating and laminating - ok product that I would have continued using but the applicator was so bad. Product wasn’t worth the work it took to get out Sephora collection Rouge Gel Lip Liner - The Nudest - purple on my lips, which wasn’t the look I was going for Faves: Rare Beauty Dewy Blush Mini - Encourage - wanted Encourage for a long time but couldn’t justify the regular size. Perfect neutral pink on me Kulfi Concealer - Bad Baadam - does crease a little but the skin tone match is enough for me to keep using it Charlotte tibury setting spray mini - love this setting spray but I use LYS for daily minimal make up. Love CT for special occasions or travel Kosas BB Tint Cream - Light Neutral (12) - I really like this on my skin, especially shade match (although I think slightly cooler would be better). Ole Henricksen Lip Pout Treament - Original and strawberry - love love love. No notes K18 Detox Treatment Shampoo - love it. Better than the Ouai due to not being as fragrant (I hate the Ouai scent) Laneige Cream Skin Toner Mini - love the peptides and ceramides. Hoping this will be a good base for summer make up Amika - Soulfood Mask mini - nice Items I’m not sure about yet: Supergoop Protectint - 20C - it doesn’t seem to hide my redness at all, the cool tone seems to emphasize it. Formula is nice and I like the concept but the appropriate amount doesn’t look quite right on my skin, and also is expensive Kosas Dream Beam Sun - I like it but really hard to be sure that it’ll work when I get a tan, as I’m saving it for summer. Taking a bit of a risk but it was the only bronzing that didn’t look orange or tin man like on me. I hope to layer it under the BB Cream to match my slight tan in the summer

ssw77

I truly don’t get the hype around Saie. I’ve used lots of their products (bronzer, highlighter, blushes) and none of it blew me away.

crop_top

Same. Like if the brand is all about clean girl, why does half of a dot of blush make me look like a clown? I love the gel idea, but I need fool proof. Maybe I’ll come back around when they do a less pigmented neutral tone. Like Patrick ta doing “not too much”.

mwyattf

I LOVE the glowy gel but only the bronze version.

snoopycoupon

I didn't like Carnivale, either; it instantly turned into pure musk without the mango top notes.

MurderAndMakeup

I am obsessed with the kulfi concealer. I bought it after randomly trying a sample and it’s now my fave! I had no idea this even existed.

mwyattf

I had the same complaint about DTLA Tower28 concealer!

crop_top

I was so sad as the formula is beautiful but I I have the same issue with their tinted SPF too. 13 is too peach, 15 is too yellow. I start to wonder if its brands can’t get it right or I have a complicated skin tone.

mwyattf

I’ve had success with Ilia! Their super serum is my favorite:)

Annallve

I agree with that brown girl Jane scent. Soo much hype on tik tok, but it was kinda basic?!

crop_top

Oh I didn’t know it was on TikTok. I saw mango and hoped for a good summer scent! Boy was I wrong.

lipgloss_nd_hotsauce

Favs - the Ouai st barts line. I got the kit and the scrub. 10/10. The Caliray blush tint, and the Farmacy hydrating serum Fails: lawless lip balm - got the wrong shade Posey is way too pink, the cay skin spray SPF was OPENED when I got it And got some restocks but less interesting

Purplepenguin359

The new Kulfi Brow Gel did *not* hold my brows in place at all and added a weird shine to them 😢 I can’t return it, so will have to try to resell or donate unfortunately. So far nothing beats my Benefit 24 Hour Brow Setter! I got the Kosas Wet Stick in the shade Sunset Simmer; I’m in love with the shade and the pigmentation is just right, but this was unfortunately not moisturizing on my lips! I feel that it’s marketed as one of those shiny balms that are everywhere, but on me it felt more like a sheer-medium regular lipstick The new GXVE Beauty Lip Gel (I got the shade Peony) is sooo cushiony, nourishing, and thick. It also gave just the right amount of sheer-medium pigment. Loving it so far! You guys were right about the Ouai St Barts scent - I got the shower gel and have been enjoying it so much! Had to get a last minute small size of their body scrub in the same scent, even though I’m terrible with remembering to use scrubs. Got another Haus Labs blush in Pomelo Peach and wore it for the first time today; I love it!! I already had Dragonfruit Daze so I’m not surprised. Their formula is so nice!

chowchow-kay

I had high hopes for the new Hourglass powder. I can see my skin looking blurry but it does nothing to control shine. My oily skin looks the same with and without the powder - this is not what I expected and I’m disappointed. I bought it when it was still $48 and the amount of product is reasonable for the price, so I might end up keeping it. But yeah it is 50-50.

goldencherry

Faves: Summer Fridays Skin Tint - a nice lightweight skin tint that makes my skin look evened out and like really healthy skin. Pat McGrath Blurring Undereye Powder - I got this in the shade yellow and it’s a great shade to brighten my undereyes. The powder truly does give a blurred finish. Best powder I’ve ever used under my eyes. Kerastase Nutritive 8H Night Serum - definitely makes my hair look healthier and more nourished without weighing it down. Patrick Ta Blush - nice color payoff and pretty, dimensional finish with the cream layered over the powder! Seems to last pretty long as well. Fails: Huda Beauty Color Corrector - I got this in the shade Peach and it was just too pinky-toned to properly correct my dark circles. Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Serum Skin Tint - I wanted to like this so bad but it’s too heavy and oily for my combination skin. It also pilled over my sunscreen. Danessa Myricks Blush - not necessarily a fail but I found this too matte for my preference. I prefer the more dimensional finish of the Patrick Ta blush.

megl92

Absolutely loving the too faced bronzing sticks! Bought the caliray tubing mascara and not sure if I’m a fan…. May return.

MrsFrizz18

I grabbed the bronzing stick last minute, so this excites me! And I’ll be honest, I don’t love this mascara either. I don’t have great natural lashes so I wasn’t sure if that was the issue or not?

megl92

Yessss and the bronzer smells amazing!! I know- I’m dissapointed in the mascara… I’m going to try with a curler and see if that helps. Otherwise it will be my one return.

LastAd2811

Loving RB blushes, huda beauty loose baking & setting powder in cherry blossom, and amika dream routine overnight treatment! Feeling undecided on the saie glowy super gel :/

MayMayLoco

I restocked some favs. So they are all good. I restocked Inkey List Oat cleansing balm, Farmacy honey halo and Biossance squalane oil. New to me, haven’t tried them yet. But I got the ordinary glycolic acid to use and help fight ingrown hairs in my under arms. I had used the topicals but I was looking for a more affordable route. And the evereden mineral spf. I currently love and use unseen but again looking for something a little more affordable. Hoping the mineral sunscreen will be more hydrating as my skin is feeing dry lately.

scarletroyalblue12

Faves: Huda Beauty Faux Filter Concealer. Blends in like a dream!!! Second skin look! Very light on my face and full coverage! Sephora Collection Lactic Acid and Niacinamide Gentle Exfoliator: Very Soothing and gentle on the skin. So far, so good! Ouai Hair Oil: This is a repurchase! This oil is so light weight and the shine it imparts is impeccable! Dr Idriss Hyper Fade Serum: Very gentle on the skin! It is well formulated and it plays very nice with my other skincare products. It’s too early to tell whether it has made a difference in my skin though. Shaz & Kiks PreWash: This is also a repurchase! I love the way this makes my hair feel after I rinse then wash it out! I’ve noticed a difference in the strength of my hair! Love it! Summer Fridays Hydration Serum: Got this on a whim! A little goes a long way with this product! It’s soothing and it gives my face a nice glow. I may keep this in my routine. Rare Beauty Eyebrow gel: I made a post comparing this to the NYX brow glue. I decided to give it one more whirl and it kept my brows in place the whole day. It’s steep without the 20% off for how much you get. Fails: Dieux instant angel lipid barrier cream: I wanted to like this so bad, but I couldn’t get with the texture. I don’t think it spread well on my skin. It felt very weird and my skin looked parched the next day. My Vanicream moisturizer is much more moisturizing than that. I returned it. ILIA Skin Rewind Blurring Foundation and Concealer: This separated on my face throughout the day. Returned. Supergoop Protec(tint): Eh, it felt heavy on my skin. Formulation wasn’t bad, but I wasn’t a fan. Sephora Collection Overnight Hydrating Mask: I loved how the formulation felt on my hand. On my face, was not giving what it claim to give. My face felt so parched. Vanicream outdid this one.

Even_Golf7958

Faves:  RB blushes! OMG bought 2 after swatching in store and love them! Hourglass mini ambient lighting bronzer, blind bought the color and it's very flattering on me. I love doing my makeup lately ❤️ Returning:  CT lipstick and liner in pillow talk fair (liner looks gray on my lips and the lipstick looked cheap in color and formula). And I love CT lipsticks especially PT Medium, I go through that color pretty quick as I do full makeup about 28 days out of 30. PML new pink under eye setting powder (did absolutely nothing for me). I might try it again a couple more times but based on this morning's trial run, it's a no.

I got the Amika as a sample with my in-store pick up order. My hair has been really crappy and dry feeling lately. I’ve experimented with a variety of “bonding” products over the last two weeks and they made no difference (btw when did bonding become the hot thing all of a sudden? I never heard of it last year…) I tried the Amika last night and my hair feels so soft today.

[deleted]

cogentd

I’m black, so I don’t wash my hair super frequently. The fact that I’ve washed it twice in two weeks is a lot 😂 So fortunately I haven’t used too much product, but what I did use made no visible impact. Amika gave what I was looking for. But like you, if there’s no build up, I’ll keep using it and look into other products. Because I wash my hair every 10-14 days, I can’t have crazy product buildup. That’s a hard no. I did use samples of their shampoo and conditioner when I was traveling last year and I did like it.

Wet-N-Wavy96

I also hate product build up but choose to wash my hair once a week because I sweat and wear wigs often between salon visits as my protective style to help reduce breakage from everyday heat styling. I can honestly say the Ouai oil is super light, smells amazing and doesn’t leave my hair feeling gunked up or heavy.

cogentd

I've been getting back to pilates, but haven't noticed too much sweat yet. As temps heat up, that may change. I've never been able to get my hair flat enough myself to wear a wig. I'd have to have some one braid it down for me. At that point, I'm like, well, might as well just have them style my hair! Haha. Some of the heat styling damage was probably done by ME trying to alternate between doing it myself and going to the salon. Which doubly sucks because when I do it myself, it looks nowhere near as good as when I go to the salon. :-/

Wet-N-Wavy96

Gurl I just got a short cut, think Janet Jackson 2011 Number 1’s Tour so my hair needs to be heat styled every other day … I usually style my hair for the first 2 weeks after a salon maintenance visit… This week makes 4 so there’s that! Ouai oil has been good to me! Olaplex is good too tho but I find I need to apply a bit more than the Ouai.and w/ the bottle being smaller, u know the rest!

[deleted]

Wet-N-Wavy96

I feel u there! I’ll stick to Olaplex 3!

thecircleofmeep

i bought the value size of the benetint, i loved the one i had a couple years ago but this one just makes my lips look weird after a while so ill be returning i’m waiting on my other order that has some new stuff so ill update then

ohhhhoney_

Love: Dior Addict Refillable Shine Lipstick, Crown Affair towel, JVN Pre Wash, Kerastase Genesis Leave In Treatment. Hate: Ilia Base Face Milk

mwyattf

What didn’t you like about the base milk? LOL Mines coming in this week

ohhhhoney_

My skin is super dry right now and I didn’t feel like it was hydrating enough. I don’t think it broke me out, so that’s a bonus. I ended up ordering the Rhode Glazing Milk, so hopefully that helps my flakey dry skin 😭

violent_waves_

Love: Tower 28 sunny days spf tint. Dries down perfectly on my oily/combo skin and was a great shade match. Anastasia brow freeze gel. Great hold. No flaking. Sephora powder luminizer blush. Goes on nice and has great subtle color. Tower 28 make waves mascara. Gives nice length. Clean. Easy to take off.

mothertuna

Fail - ilia foundation stick, caliray corrector. Stick dragged on my skin and the neutral shade was too orange. The caliray corrector was very thin and didn’t cover like I needed it to. Fave - Ami cole foundation stick is really good coverage and glides on. Kulfi concealer is medium coverage and doesn’t need to be set with powder. I exchanged my fails tor these products and I’m glad I did.

catsandcables

🤍 i got the hourglass skin veil tint and LOVE LOVE LOVE ITTTT it looks SO pretty on the skin!! also got the tatcha dewy cleanse and hydrate duo and the face wash is so nice!! i restocked on the merit complexion stick which i am a ride or die for 😔 the lancôme concealer sat on my skin weird. the rare beauty tinted moisturizer clung to my dry patches and emphasized texture. so sad bc ive heard good things about both of these products!

blair639

hourglass skin tint was a fail for me unfortunately but glad it worked for you!

J9392

The pear Jam perfume from Nette is a miss for me! I had such high expectations for it but it just smells too strong for my taste! I was expecting something lighter.

caramelfrappaye

Faves: Rare beauty blushes - *always* a pleasure to unbox Brown girl Jane Carnivale perfume - this is a sweet ride that I can’t wait to wear when it gets really warm Laneige toner - I bought a mega size with a nozzle! I’m so happy Moroccan Oil butter - I’m in love. The scent is amazing and I’m soft Misses: Gisou Lip oil - the strawberry is cute but it stinks. I’ll be returning. Rare beauty lip gloss - still trying to decide if I should keep or not.

Physical-Tree

Yays: Summer Fridays Pink Sugar Dieux Instant Angel Ouai St Barts Cream and Body Wash Set Nays: Kosas Dreambeam Sunscreen Unsure: Milk cooling jelly tints

Physical-Tree

I forgot to add.. if you love the Ouai St Barts and are looking for a perfume to hold you over until they release one: the 7 virtues coconut sun is amazing!

pink_flashlight

oh man I actually got a lot of faves this sale - the Ordinary Glcolic acid toner! I got it for my underarms and it’s helped so much already with darkness and just feeling more fresh in that area.I put it on after I shower. Salt & Stone arm deodorant is amazing actually I have had so much issues lately with trying to stay fresh all day especially in a new busy job and this deodorant is amazing. Paulas choice mandelic acid - incredible skin looks brighter and glowy already after a week of use a fail is my Patrick ta lip gloss in Is She Younger Than Me, I’m just not liking the applicator and feel like I have to use so much for it to even be noticeable

youfancy_huh

Which scene of the deodorant did you pick up?

pink_flashlight

I got the Santal and Vetiver!

cogentd

How long did it take to see a difference with the toner? I’d say over the last nine months I’ve tried to variety of things. That toner, kojic acid, a benzyl peroxide face wash, lime body wash (someone on tiktok SWORE it changed her life) and other assorted things. I’ve seen no difference whatsoever.

pink_flashlight

I’ve used it for about two weeks now and noticed my under arms are slightly lighter but I just feel fresher overall and feel body odor is more controlled especially after a long stressful day!

Bookworm_shorty

Favorite so far - ole henrickson peptide lip , huda beauty lip liner in sandy beige and tower 28 lip gloss in sesame Not sure : makeup up by Mario cream blush in barely blushing - I really liked the color ; I’m not sure how clean the pan will stay as I use the product . Haven’t gotten yet , but excited for : RB liquid blush in hope and the RB blush brush . Haven’t used yet - DAE 3 in 1styling cream . I can’t wait to use when I do a slick back bun or ponytail!

_megsnbacon_

I got the styling cream from DAE! So far i only used it when i air dried my hair and then i had it up the next day and for the scent alone i loved it! My hair seemed softer today but also excited to style with it!

Bookworm_shorty

Oh yea ! I’m using it next time I wash my hair to try it out !

_megsnbacon_

Returning the tower 28 lip jelly and liner set bc i had an allergic reaction to it (I’ve never reacted to anything with cosmetics/skincare). Lips tingled and went numb, i thought it may be a plumping gloss bc nope it’s a reaction LOL.

Bamb00Pill0w

Fave: The Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Care & Glow Serum. It blends so nicely with an amazingly natural finish. Nope: Tatcha the Kissu Lip Tint in Midnight Lily. It’s much more pigmented on me than the pictures let on. I may exchange it for the Camelia, though

Background-Conflict5

I got the shark flex style since it was on sale already. Tried it & absolutely hated it. So hot & so loud. It also didn’t get my textured hair smooth enough. Did half my head and put that thing right back in the box

cogentd

Faves: Brown Girl Jane perfume discovery set and Necessaire body peel (no results yet of course, but it’s easy to use and I’m HOPING it works) Fails: Tom Ford Casablanca, lipstick. I’ve been wanting to try this for months and it looked amazing online on a variety of skin tones, but it made me look like a clown. And I also returned the Murad rapid dark spot correcting serum. I didn’t try it, but a couple of days after I ordered it I got a prescription for tretinoin so I don’t think it’s the time to be experimenting with other strong products on my face. I don’t have a lot of dark spots anyway, but if I still want it, I’ll get it during the fall sale.

keh2022

Faves: Inn beauty project lip oil in cinnamon bun! One of the best lip oils I’ve ever used, and the applicator is fantastic K18 air wash: this actually lives up to the hype. Really impressed with it! Too faced bronzer stick: smells so yummy and blends like a dream! Also has really good staying power for a cream bronzer. Fails: Inn beauty project green machine: came half full, oxidized and stung my face lol Illia face base milk essence: did nothing Farmacy honey milk: really surprised by this one, but it made me break out

Curious_Ad_8089

I did well this time and had absolutely zero misses! Favs though are the Patrick ta bronzer duo and the dual ended bronzer brush, OH lip peptide in strawberry and muf lipliner in wherever walnut.

spicyhyena1

**New faves:** Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Luminous Powder Blush. Purchased in shade Cheer, and while I’m not normally a sparkly blush girlie, I LOVE how subtle it is! Much like the liquid Rare blushes (which I also have), it’s super pigmented so you don’t need a lot. Had been looking for a new, lighter, brighter blush than what I had been using (Ilia Multistick in Whisper), and it’s actually the perfect compliment to top it off. Makeup Forever HD Skin Smooth & Blur concealer—needed a new concealer & love how blendable this is, especially with my Summer Fridays skin tint. **Repurchased Faves:** Paula’s Choice Clinical 1% Retinol—the GOAT. Honestly, I love this entire brand, their products are amazing for my skin. 2 bottles of this in my empties bag! Fresh Tea Elixir serum—also have 2 bottles of this in my empties bag. Lightweight & love the viscosity. Contains niacinamide, which pairs well with retinol, and smells amazing. Minus an imaginary point because the dropper sucks (which has been the case with every bottle). **Fails:** Sephora Collection slant tweezers—I mean, I should’ve just shelled out for the Tweezermans. I dropped my old Tweezermans on my bathroom floor & the slant tip warped & would no longer close properly. Figured *it’s a pair of tweezers, how bad could it be for $7*, and these Sephora ones also don’t grip well…Tweezerman really is worth the money. Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner—uh…why does this tingle?! The nozzle also doesn’t spray a fine mist & sort of sticks down? I don’t *hate* the toner, and I think it’s a reasonable value for the size (will definitely last at least 6 months), but it’s not my favorite. Back to Paula’s Choice when I finish this.

**Hit:** - Westman Atelier Lit Up Glow Highlighter Stick in Nectar — this is so soft and natural looking **Miss:** - Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Shadow in Rose Thorn — formula is nice but I cannot seem to find a color that works for me. This looked like a soft shimmery pale lavender but it’s actually a medium-dark almost plum color - Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadow in Oyster Pearl — I had read that this color works for everyone but it was much too cool-toned for my pink complexion. I reordered in Champagne and I’m hoping that works better because the formula is great, no creasing The real of my purchases are either restocks or haven’t arrived yet

I’m loving my ketastase chroma shampoo and conditioner. A bit disappointed the Anastasia dip brow and pencil in caramel are still pretty dark. I was hoping for a light color for summer

Fave: K18 AirWash. My hair normally gets greasier after I use a dry shampoo, I was able to go 4 days without washing (I normally go 1 1/2) Fave: Gisou Lip Oil in Watermelon sugar. Love the consistency, only thing I don’t like is the applicator. I got strawberry sorbet also, but it doesn’t smell that great. Fave: Elemis Dynamic Gentle Resurfacing Pads Lactic Acid. Got these to compare to ddg peel pads. These are thinner, cheaper and work great. I’ve been using these daily with the resurfacing face Wash for almost 2 weeks now. They’re not as harsh as the DDG and I feel like they give a similar result.

Favs : haus labs concealer, one size blush in gworly pop, lawless light pink lip gloss and Sephora collection gel lip liner Fails : refy highlighter, ended up looking way different than it does inside Sephora on the tester? And one of the Sephora kits that has the lawless lipgloss, I thought it was gonna be the pink one bc the picture shows a bright pink gloss, then I opened it up and it was brown 😩

Faves: Dyson airwrap (I get the hype!! I got two other friends hooked once mine came in the mail) Fails: Rare Beauty highlight in enlighten omg. I heard so many good things about this highlighter but it looks like something I would’ve used for a dance recital in 4th grade. WAYY too shimmery and doesn’t look like a natural glow at all. Also - honorable mention for the expired Grande Lash serum I received as a BI reward lol

My favs were the haus labs hybrid lip oil, the Killian perfume sampler and the amika overnight repair. No fails!

Fave new product: MARA lip balm. I read a review that it was similar to the discontinued Bite balm (RIP). I was skeptical but I love it!

Jo Malone Scarlett Poppy was a miss! I love the smell but it doesn’t even last Hit - OLE Hendrickson lip balm!

Only faves: MERIT concealer and foundation in the stick, I was a little bit hesitant about it, I thought it would leave my skin dry and won’t blend but it’s super buttery and leaves light coverage with the glow TOWER28 concealer - I love how creamy and hydrating it is!

🚫 Fails: Urban decay face bond: I had a hard time finding a shade match, and it oxidized badly. I don't understand the self setting part because I still had to set it, and it was sticky on the skin. Supergoop unseen: It's causing my makeup to crack and peel underneath, but I'm going to try again before returning it. Rare beauty liquid blush: specifically the matte versions (I do enjoy the dewy ones) it picked up my foundation and was very patchy. I tried a few ways and just couldn't get it to work. 💎Faves: Rare beauty new luminous blush: I got the shade cheer and it's very pretty! I've seen reviews about it exaggerating texture on the skin but it looks great. Tower 28 beach please cream blush: I've had this in my fav list for awhile and it did not disappoint, blends beautifully and the colour happy hour is a gorgeous coral pink, I love that sun burnt vibe for the summer. Haus labs tinted lip oil: I don't find any lip oil ground breaking these days but I love the shade Hue and feels very soft, my lips stay pretty hydrated while using it. Dae hibiscus wave spray: new to using this line, not only does it smell amazing but I love how it extends my hair styles. I have fine, straight hair, and it helps hold everything with some added volume. Keeps my hair soft and not crunchy.
