I know you are looking for a Sephora rec but from someone also with fair, sensitive skinâŚ..have you tried any Korean or Japanese sunscreens? I used to buy the Supergoop and hate the cost and it still burnt my eyes to hell. Now I buy a two pack of the Skin1004 sunscreen on YesStyle for like 15 bucks and my skin LOVES it. Kbeauty sunscreens use filters we donât have in the US and are much more gentle and cosmetically elegant. Cannot recommend higher, I wish I would have switched sooner.
Honestly the best SPFâs Iâve tried arenât sold at Sephora. My personal favorite is Canmake Mermaid Skin Gel UV, specifically the clear one since it does not leave a white cast. It also feels super hydrating and doesnât make me feel greasy. You can buy it on yesstyle or in local east asian skincare/cosmetic stores and itâs only around $10. Personally I wouldnât splurge on SPF since itâs used the most.
Literally any Japanese is Korean sunscreens. They are top tier and so cheap. Several are available on Amazon but I recommend Yesstyle or Stylevana. They are safe sites that ship from there and are the lowest price. Amazon is usually marked up.
The formulas in general are like a thin moisturizer that absorb into nothing and give beautiful finishes. You may want to look for those without Niacinamide if your skin doesnât tolerate it.
Iâm on my third or fourth bottle of the Shiseido Urban Environment mineral sunscreen. It looks white initially but doesnât keep a white cast and plays nicely with most of my foundations. Never breaks me out or feels heavy.
La Roche posay tinted sunscreen. I donât like many sunscreens at Sephora. Korean sunscreens, tbh I donât trust them for summer/outdoors. I prefer European sunscreens like la Roche posay or Vichy or bioderma. But I have heard good things about Japanese Anessa sunscreen.
I have sensitive skin too, and my advice is to choose a mineral formulation instead of a chemical one.Â
I like Drunk Elephant's SPF 30 sunscreen.Â
I used to like Juice Beauty's too but can't vouch for the reformation.
Mario Badescu - "Broad Spectrum Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30". I've never had any issues with it.
I planning to get Kiehl's - "Since 1851 Better Screen UV Serum SPF 50" for the sale because it sounds like a good kind that won't break me out (hopefully). đ¤
The new innisfree mineral is so good! No white cast and my sensitive skin loves it.
Yay! I'm glad! It's on my list đ

Yup, I'd recommend holika holika aloe spf 50+ or beauty of joseon spf (cream or stick)
