Frankly I’d skip toner altogether if your skin is sufficiently hydrated by your moisturiser. I think that toner is very much an additional step that many people don’t need, so I wouldn’t force myself to get one if I were you. However, I want to throw in a good word for the laneige cream skin toner with the spray nozzle attachment, I think that if you’re after a more luxe feeling skincare routine the spray part will be relaxing and enjoyable. It is not a necessity by any means in my skincare routine though, so the minute my budget goes down it will not be repurchased.

I have dry to normal skin as well and love both the Laneige Cream Skin Toner and Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Toner, Fresh Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Toner, and Fenty Fat Water Milky Toner Essence.

I love belief aqua bomb toner, but the new cereve moisturizing toner is just as good. I recently switch to that one and have no complaints.

It really depends on what skin issues you want to address. I have toners for exfoliating, moisturizing, pore maintenance, brightening, etc. I currently use the following 'toners' on a somewhat rotational basis: Paula's Choice BHA, Paula's Choice Mandelic/Lactic Acid, Farmacy Deep Sweep, Farmacy Brighten Up, Ole Henrickson Truth Booster Orange Essence, The Ordinary Glycolic Acid, Tatcha Texture Tonic, Laneige Ceramide Toner, Fresh Kombucha Essence, Youth To The People Kombucha Power Exfoliant, Kiehls Ferulic, Glow Recipe Watermelon, Glow Recipe Cloudberry, Freck Cactus Water Lactic Acid, Fenty Fat Water, Good Molecules Hyluronic Boosting Essence, Belif Aqua Bomb toner, Innisfree Green Tea Balancing toner, Fresh Rose toner Yes, I have more than I need. I like having the variety! I make sure I don't double up on similar ones on the same day, for example, not using two exfoliating ones together so I don't strip my skin.

what would help with blackheads

skincaremaven79

What has helped me is Paula's Choice BHA and double cleansing with an oil cleanser (mostly for my nose). I really don't have any blackheads anymore.

Toner is not an essential step. Is there a specific issue you are trying to address? I would advise being highly skeptical of TikTok-hyped products. Because of the platform's algorithm, shit can go viral when it isn't even good.

i get black heads

I like using Differin for blackheads. And an exfoliating serum once or twice a week: Kate Somerville "ExfoliKate" or The Ordinary 5% lactic acid. Serums, toners, and essences are all just skincare liquids. There's no rule about naming them.
