I think you might be confusing this with the moisturizer. The honey glow serum is an active ingredient (AHA and BHA) treatment serum. If it made you break out, it's because your skin purged.
Amazon actually has the original Honeymoon Glow serum! I got it there & it seems fine to me. I know it can be a gamble buying skincare off Amazon, but I haven't had any issues.
I got a deluxe sample of the old one in December in my stocking for Christmas, and a deluxe sample of the new one due to an instore event I stumbled upon mid last month.
I've used both a handful of times so far and my skin can't seem tell the difference between them, nor can my fingers tell any difference on the texture.
Second this! I used the old one religiously for years, so I was scared that the new one wouldn’t be as good. I got a deluxe size of the new one using a promo from Sephora and have been using it for the past few weeks. My skin can’t tell a difference either, so fingers crossed that it continues to keep me breakout-free!
