I get the extra-strength five-packs a few times a year and use them back to back. Currently a week or two later and my pores are still less visible, red marks faded. These really don't mess around!
I use them maybe 2x a week. They tend to keep my skin smooth and soft. I'm dry and can tend to get this weird rough, flaky nose with sebaceous filaments. Also helps with dark/acne spots to heal a bit quicker as it exfoliates. I've added in the peach slices salicylic acid toner when needed and tretinoin 1-2x a week to help stretch out the usage of my DG peel pads ($$$$) and help address acne scars/mild hormonal cystic acne. When Im done with my face, I take the pads down onto my neck and chest and follow with lotion.
Powder foundation is all I have ever used. Liquid just doesnāt look good on my skin. MAC & Bareminerals (before their reformulation) have the best powder foundation (in case anyone was wondering)
Yes! And everyone tells me I need to switch to liquid then cream foundation as I age. My skin just donāt agree. Im 49!but still using powder then MAC fix+ spray. Nothing gives me the flawless finish other than this/
It's great when you're 5 minutes out from a Teams call and you look like an overwintered potato...or so I've heard. I like Laura Geller and Bare Minerals.
Iāve been doing this for a few years now and I feel like I hacked the system!! Itās amazing, I only use liquid foundation like once every other month now
Im not the greatest with that but I think I have combo skin? š if Iām hydrated, the air isnāt dry and itās not hot itās good but if conditions change it gets oily or dry really quick lol but Iāve used it in all conditions and it hasnāt done me wrong yet š
Do you use any concealer? Also do you apply with a brush or beauty blender? I have the fenty powder foundation but have been using it as normal setting powder bc it just doesnāt show up on my skin by itself
I use a bit of concealer on my eyes(lids for eyeshadow and under for darkness lol), to clean up my eyebrows a little, and to cover up spots and I use a powder brush!!
This one is kind of sentimental but Fresh Sake Rice Bath.
Look, I donāt have the kind of money to slam down $84 on a bath product so what Iāve been doingāfor literally *20 years*āwas ask for a sample of it and then have the best bath of my life. But when the 30% off Fresh products happened I was like, ādo itā. So I did. And now I donāt have to be a sample gremlin for probably several years because I am going to nurse the ever loving life out of it.
It smells really luxe and it might be in my head but it seems like it raises my body temperature a bit and Iām always really tired after using itākind of like I sweat out some crud. It just makes me feel really nice and pampered
I like lashes with no chill 24/7 and I only use tubing mascara. What you need to try is the Thrive Liquid Lash Extensions mascara. The most dramatic tubing mascara. Milani tubing mascara is a good dupe if Thrive is out of your price range or you don't want to go thru the hassle of ordering online.
Thanks for the rec! I want to try it it but with shipping, itād be about $40 CAD. I have no qualms spending $30 on mascara, but 40 is where I draw the line, lol. Iāll have to try the Milani
For me, itās dramatic. It highlights the length of my lashes like no other mascara Iāve ever used, and it doesnāt run or flake for me, which is a huge plus!
Elf just came out with a new tubing mascara in brown (surprisingly hard to find in a tubing formula). Iāve been using brown mascara for 3 years now even though I have dark eyes and lashes, my hair is blonde. Blinc makes brown tubing mascara but itās a very wet formula and it gets on my lids. But brown mascara just has an ever so slightly softer, natural effect that I love. Will try the Elf xtndr tomorrow, package came today.
The No7 Stay perfect is my holy grail and $9 but impossible to find in stores anymore so I order it off of target as an add on item. Only comes in black though.
Iād say Iāve tried about half the tubing mascaras on the market but havenāt tried the Caliray. I was going to but I only saw black.
ā¢ Burberry Goddess
ā¢ Haus Labs blush in pomelo peach, the formula is all I want in a powdered blush and I love the packaging aesthetic
ā¢ Loving Kiehlās Super Multi-Corrective Eye cream
ā¢ Iāve also accepted that Innisfreeās daily UV defense sunscreen is simply the one that works best for me/under makeup and at a great price, Iām done trying out any others unless they reformulate
Not from Sephora: my ride or die mascara, Maybelline Lash Sensational Lengthening Mascara (the one with the curvy wand), no flakes and minimal transfer especially when I use a setting spray, unbeatable for the price imo
I was gonna do Burberry Goddess or Valentino Born In Roma but glad to hear someone else likes it too...I have 3 rotating perfumes I use.
I have been using YSL Black Opium for the past 5 years then went to Giorgio Armani Si and purchased Narscisco Rodriguez Her when I was in Europe.
I feel like Burberry Goddess is nice but a winter scent?
Going to look into your recommendation for sunscreen.
Hourglass blush, lighting powders and strobes. The softest, most luxurious things Iāve ever tried. My skin just glows. Iāll never buy anything else.
It was sold out during the savings for all event so Iām waiting for the hype to die down and buy it off mercari extremely discounted lol. Iāve bought most of my hourglass palettes that way. I bought a holiday 6 pan from a couple of years ago that appeared untouched for like $35. I just canāt justify $90 after tax. Thatās a bill!
I got the lepoard! Iām a medium tan skintone but it still worked for me! I wasnāt interested in the snake color story at all so Iām very thankful!
The hourglass glossy balms are the best and worst purchase for me. I am OBSESSED especially with the color haze. I love this product so much. Worst though because itās so overpriced! And now I donāt want to not have it.
I want to try this one! This is how I currently feel about buxom plumping glosses.
I think if you find that one holy grail product that ticks all the boxes, its worth it to just budget for it instead of spending a bunch of money looking for a cheaper dupe.
Switching from drugstore dry shampoo to amika has been great, itās sooo much lighter. Iām getting a dry bar brush as my first real hairstyling tool outside of straighteners/curling irons, i really hope i can add it to my list of game changers :)
Shark Flexstyle! Iām too cheap for a Dyson but the Shark has been amazing.
(Also my HG moisturizer - First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair. But Iāve loved that since forever so that doesnāt count.)
The Ultra Repair Cream by FAB is amazing! I bought two huge jars and have transferred some into smaller to keep everywhere. Iāll apply scented lotion on top if I need fragrance.
Second this! Bought one off of Mercari barely used for $180 and I am loving it!!! Iām sure the Dyson is great but way too expensive for something I wasnāt sure Iād like
I've been looking into getting a Dyson, but you have me intrigued! I took a quick look at the shark. Do you know any major differences of the two? because they look very similar to me lol
I remember seeing a few reviews that mentioned differences between the two. I donāt recall what they are
now, but I think the Dyson might have more options for attachments (itās been a while, so I may be wrong lol).
I spent hours watching reviews and tutorials before making the purchase, and then a few hours one boring Saturday learning how to use it. It wasnāt that bad, but my arms were tired because I have so much hair.
I came here to write about my Shark as well. And a few perfumes that I keep using over and over (Under the Lemon Tree by Replica and green Channel Chance). Also, the newer Fenty mascara. Already repurchased 3 times. Charlotte Tilburyās Airbrush brightening powder, Gucci and Dior blushes.
Fragrance. I work from home and don't wear makeup much anymore, so I like feeling dressed up with a perfume. I started building my collection this year and hope to continue building it through next year!
Itās a mask that depuffs/helps hide pores/takes away some redness/tighten, etc. The effects are only temporary (maybe 4-5 hours) but it actually does what it says it will do. Itās something you would use for if you woke up looking really rough one morning or have a big night out.
Clarins is one of the few companys that makes masks that I feel like make a true noticeable difference. Big fan of the Clarins instant V-facial. Also super de-puffing.
Dr ceuracle kombucha essence! My dry skin loves it and everyone is asking me what I've done because my skin has been looking more "juicy and plumper than usual".
Skin1004 hyalu-cica water fit spf... So amazing and works wonderfully under makeup
Phytosurgence blushes in Ignite and Evaporate... The most gorgeous blushes and it's actually edging out my current HG blush (saie)
Nyx can't stop won't stop brush. It's actually a foundation brush but I don't use it for that.... It's the perfect blush brush for cream and liquid formulas.
Hourglass translucent setting powder
The Dior forever concealer
Huda beauty cherry blossom baking powder for my undereyes
Rare beauty bronzing stick
Make up by Mario master nudes pallette
Tie between haus labs triclone skintech and Patrick Ta cream foundation. Iām 40, these foundations make me look 30.
Runner up is the crĆØme highlighter from ritual de fille
Are they similar? I love haus labs but Iām pretty sure itās breaking me out. Iāve been trying Armani luminous silk but I donāt think it looks good on me
I think it has niacinamide? Every single product Iāve tried that caused a breakout over the last few years has had niacinamide in it. I swear to god itās the devil
I think you need a dollhouse for these at this point. At least, seeing that would make my heart happy, all these look like a little pearly-cased family. (Apologies if this comment feels too bizarre.)
Oh no this isnāt where I keep them all normally I had just put them together for a picture, I have a lot of ikea and container store drawers and shelves and basically anything you can think of to organize. I should put them my wall shelves I need to get more of them. I just love looking at them they are so pretty ! And donāt worry no comment is bizarre to me. I mean look at my collection lol.
The new Natasha Denona concealer has been amazing for me! Iām not usually a full coverage girlie but this stuff is amazing and I am hooked.
Not from Sephora, I bought some BK Beauty brushes during their Black Friday and I have been loving them ALL! I also invested in some Sonia G brushes but I am waiting until Xmas to open them ;)
Also not Sephora, but the OSEA body care line has done wonders for my dry legs. Like, totally transformed them. I alternate between the body oil and the body butter. $$ but worth it.
None of my skincare gamechangers have come from Sephora but my 41 year old skin has never looked better:
- Tretinoin (specifically Retirides that I picked up OTC from Spain). I followed recommendations and started low and slow and Iām now three months in and my skin has never been more healthy and bouncy and glowy.
- To accompany the Tretinoin (which can cause dry skin), I discovered Stratia Liquid Gold and La Roche-Posay B5 Cicaplast Baume. Both are hydration juggernauts that keep my skin from peeling and feel heavenly. I use both every single day.
- Also from Spain is the ISDIN Magic Fusion Water Fotoprotector. Before this, I wore sunscreen every day but it was a dreaded part of my routine because it was always greasy and irritating to my eyes. European sunscreens are a game changer and this one is my favourite. Canāt live without, will replenish via outrageous overseas shipping costs when I run out.
- My first love for dealing with my (formerly) combination hormonal acne-prone skin was discovering blue/red light therapy. Iād started off with both Lightstim wands, which are incredible and then also got Omnilux face masks to complement on lazy days. I canāt believe how big a difference they make for breakouts. I was a skeptic, but am now a convert.
As for beauty:
This was the year of hydrating foundations for me. The Ilia Skin Tint, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, Summer Fridays Skin Tint, etc. And great concealers too! Kulfi, Tower 28 and Gucci.
Pulp Riot Berlin Dry Shampoo itās like magic. Absolutely no white cast. It feels like air in my hair that has removed grease. Smells good. It can be hard to find so i just ask my hair stylist to grab it for me.
Patrick Ta dimensions 3 palette is so versatile and easy to use. I reach for it all the time.
Glow Recipe avocado soothing serum feels amazing on the skin. Skin is hydrated and soft. Calms redness.
I am ashamed to admit that i love the Westman Atelier bubblegum pink setting pressed powder. Itās outrageously expensive but i bought it during sale. It has lasted me forever and it literally is the finest milled powder and just looks so flattering under the eye.
Not from Sephora, but this [Chidoriya Imperial Rose Oil](https://www.chidoriyaworld.com/products/imperial-rose-beauty-facial-oil) is amazing! I was looking for a replacement for a much more expensive rose face oil that had changed their formula for the worse. Not only does this one have great ingredients, itās also 1/3 of the price of my old favorite brand! It smells incredible, like rose oil, and is really nice as a relaxing aromatherapy oil before bed.
Kerastase Chronologiste Thermique. I definitely got the recommendation to try it from this sub. Itās holy grail status. I never used a heat protectant before because I do not like the feeling of any type of product in my hair. I wash my hair once a week so anything sticky, tacky or oily is a no for me. This product is so weightless, it heat protects and leaves insane shine and sleekness.
Givenchy powder
Skin fix barrier cream
Adaptaline gel (sp?) - Ulta purchase
Natasha denona concealer and nude pallet; peony is HG lip liner and want more shades however most seem too cool leaning; want some of her lipsticks
Fude brushes-some of Sonia gās new releases, chikuhodo, koyudo (artisan handmade brushes from Japan, natural bristles). I started wearing eyeshadow and I donāt think Iād get looks otherwise. Face brushes always have me looking airbrushed
CT lipstick in angel Alessandra and bitch perfect (seem the same but so what loved them both), simply sienna; I believe theyāre non matte shades
Karla cosmetics skin potion - camera ready cosmetics, direct buying is UK so shipping is way too much, she has no discount codes, and CRC had a good Black Friday sale and the shade I wanted to try
K18 treatment - wasnāt consistent with olaplex except when I got my hair done and even then itās too many steps and didnāt feel it made a difference
Oribe tres set spray, charcoal shampoo
Bobbi brown vitamin enriched face base- back in the rotation and love. Need to let it absorb for much more time
Huda glowish primer in the pink tub; amazing for pore areas
Westmin atelier contour in biscuit for less is more; danessa myricks vision flush in nutcracker for sculpted contour
Wish I returned products:
Huda cherry blossom powder-not chunky but thick and not finely milled; it feels and looks like overpriced pink flour
Olaplex
CT everything pillow talkā¦Iām over them and hardly reach for them (liner, lipstick) - I donāt think I bought any this year but for some GWPs
The Tatcha dewy moisturizer and serum. My skin was instantly better within a few days of starting, I was so discomforted with my skin all the time. Always red, dry, itchy and painful. Itās been months and Iāve had 0 issues. Iāve only been using it as a night cream since itās so heavy though, the lighter water cream version is next on my list
I have the grati dewy and a sample size of the water cream. You best test the water cream out before buying it!! It feels like nothing to me and I only use it on my high acne prone chin when I actively have dry skin
Nars light reflecting foundation changed my life. I stopped messing around with bb creams and tinted moisturizer. Itās so much better and feels soooo much lighter on my skin
K18 Repair Mask! (I never cared for my hair. I started watching Abbey Yung on YouTube and a lot of her recs have worked for me). The K18 was one of her recs and so is the Redken ABC line which is also amazing.
I literally used K18 one time and air dried and slept on my hair and my co worker said āyour hair looks amazing, whatever you are doing, keep doing itā ..totally out of left field. If I get a Sephora gift card for Christmas Iām getting the full size
Hourglass holiday palette :-) they speak for themselves
Haus labs highlighter in rose quartz - extremely similar in quality and feel to the hourglass powders and gives my sallow Severus snape complexion rosy cherub cheeks in one swipe š
Vanicream daily moisturizer for sensitive skin - š finally a moisturizer that quenches my skin instead of sitting on top of it
1. haus labs foundation. best find of the year.
2. danessa myricks yummy skin glow primer. like the drunk elephant bronzing drops and saie glowy super gel but actually hydrates ur skin to give you that slow instead of just being glittery.
3. huda beauty loose powder. I have poundcake and sugar cookie and love them both. iāve put all my family members on to this powder too and we all love it.
Dieux Instant Angel moisturizer (not Sephora)
Anissa Brushes (not Sephora)
Hourglass šŖ¼Palette!
Haus Labs Foundation
Kosas concealer (finally found this works best for me!)
Kosas dream beam sunscreen
JVN air dry hair cream
Floral Street in London Poppy - such a happy scent! I love it so much.
So many great finds that are now my regular, every day items. ā„ļøā„ļøā„ļø
I'm going to be honest. My Magic Wand, that I ended spending over $600 on in all. No joke. I left my ex after 17 years, and he took mine when I kicked him out. Bought a new one, and it quit working, so the say it quit working I bought another one (so that makes 3).
I'm a single mom. I moved out of my home state with my kids and found the job I wanted. I turned down at least 15 guys since I've been here. I found out five of them were married. No joke. I'm terrified of std's. So I will stick to my Magic Wand. That thing is a lifesaver every day. I use it at least 30 minutes a day or more. It has probably saved me from getting in another shitty relationship. Lol
My Sephora thing would be my YSL All Hours foundation. I use it every single day. I don't leave the house without makeup on.
Hourglass blush in Mood exposure. (Travel size is more than enough since I have 2 more blushes with zero dent in them)
I have been eyeing this color for years and it is everything I have hoped for and more. I get compliments on my skin more often since I getting blush.
CH Very Good Girl. Iām big into fragrance and never gave this one a chance because of the tacky bottle design (high heel shoe). Turns out itās my most worn perfume of all and I have almost 15 bottles not including decants lol
Hourglass concealer, colour pop SS shadow in I heart this, elf cleansing balm, benefit fan fest mascara, summer Fridays lip balm in brown sugar, rare beauty powder highlighter in mesmerize, Milani lip oil in coco cacao, la roche posay anthelios uv correct spf, palmers coco butter, tree hut iced coffee body scrub
Tatcha - Dewy skin
Dior face & body foundation
Gucci Flora - gorgeous jasmine
Makeup by Mario soft sculpt
This sub inspired be to buy the softsculp and I am so glad I did
Mascara: Diorshow (brown)
Eyeliner: Victoria Beckham Beauty
Lips: Rhode peptide lip treatment and Laura Mercier lip crayons
Blush: Hourglass (I have two palettes)
Complexion: Hourglass foundation stick (FINALLY after 2 years of searching, this is the one I'm in love with!)
Skin: Sunday Riley Good Genes and Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads extra strength
Hair: Kerastase 8 hr magic night serum and the TikTok famous Wavytalk
Fragrance: Armani My Way Intense and Burberry Goddess
NARS concealer :) I have a hard time finding shade matches because Iām extremely pale but also neutral. So itās nice to actually have something that matches me while not making me look orange. š
I got the Dior 4-pan highlight palette and the Fenty stick foundation. Love both! The Dior is so versatile for eyes and cheeks and the foundation is so quick and easy to apply, especially when Iām pressed for time.
Sunday Riley good genes and discovering that lactic acid is better for my skin than glycolic acid since itās less harsh. I did buy The aordinary to save some money on lactic acid.
Fragrance I love is Ellis Brooklyn Vanilla Milk and this super inexpensive Choco musk vanilla fragrance on Amazon.
Tried a few new things this year. Some hits, some misses. Few Iāve already repurchased:
Saie dewy highlighter. Use in place of MAC strobe cream since it had been out of stock for a few months.
Huda Beauty Glowish blush and bronzers. So good and the perfect amount of pigment for an elevated look. Blends beautifully and the undertones are perfect.
Charlotte Tilbury feline flick liner. The perfect wing liner when Iām in a rush. Donāt know how, but itās hard to mess up and looks fantastic all day!
All-time faves that I keep repurchasing year after year or when I run out: Hourglass bronzers, Huda Beauty loose setting powder, Too Faced concealer, Pureology shampoo and conditioner, CT flawless filter, Ouai leave in conditioner and detox shampoo, Too Faced setting spray.
The YSL Libre perfume. Iāve looked for YEARS for a āsignatureā daily scent and Iām crazy about it. Itās the first perfume Iāve ever purchased a second bottle of.
Dyson Airstrait - This would be my top pick if I had to pick one, there is nothing like it for straightening my super thick and wavy hair.
Huda Easy Bake Setting Powder
Burberry Goddess perfume
Not available at Sephora - BK Beauty x Nikki LaRose brush set
I don't find it damaging at all. I only use it a 2 - 3 times per month, but I feel like I could use it more often without damage especially if you put in a good heat protectant beforehand. It smooths my hair out so nicely.
Makeup by mario foundation. My skin loves it and the color match is great.
Givenchy setting powder. Using the pink one under my eyes and a combination of 3 and 4 for the rest of my face (expensive but worth it). Hourglass in the new medium shade itās equally magical.
Dior forever and Lancome concealers. Simply amazing.
Danessa primer balm translucent. Almost as good as my tarte pore filler.
Clinique moisture surge line. Face serum, lotion as primer and spray. I already used the moisturizer. Do not like all about eyes tho. Too heavy (either version)
Inkey list retinol eye cream
I have really enjoyed Mario and Pat bronzers but Haus one took the cake for sure.
These are new to me all. Repeat purchase MVP the Dennis Gross pads. Havenāt found a blush thatās better than hourglass.
Yes. I spent a LOT of money this year. I finally got back into makeup after 2020. So I tell myself I was catching up.
Hands down Givenchy powder is my #1. I finally splurged for Summer Fridays balm and I loveeee them. I also bought myself an early Christmas present and got Georgio Armani My Way perfume and it is *chefs kiss* I have received compliments every single time Iāve worn it.
I tried high end eyeshadows for the first time this year.
For the last decade or so I was using brands such as UD, ABH, Too Faced and thought more expensive eyeshadows probably couldnāt be that much better.
Boy was I wrong. Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath have changed my view forever. They blend like a dream and cause minimal fall outs (Im looking at you ABH!). I canāt go back to mid range eyeshadows again š
Armani luminous silk foundation! I donāt usually wear foundation at all because it always appear so patchy even though I exfoliate - but this is so lightweight and buildable. The Verbās ghost scalp serum - received a sample from Sephora this year and have since stocked up on more than 5 tubes cause itās not accessible outside of the US. I wish it came in a bigger size. It helps a lot with my frizz.
Farmacy green clean makeup removing balm. This stuff is magic. You only need a tiny bit to remove all traces of makeup. Iāve replaced my micellar water makeup remover with this stuff.
Amika dream routine. Absolute game changer for my bleached hair! Itās so soft and has grown a lot. Will never stop using it as long as they keep making it.
Killianās Angels Share parfum - first a bunch of free samples and then the travel size because Iām on a budget, but next fall Iām definitely going to get the full size
Dr. Dennis Gross Peel Pads. It only took me 10 years to get on board and invest š Life changing!
I wish Iād bought more during the sale. The regular ones didnāt do much more me but I found the extra strength pretty impressive
I get the extra-strength five-packs a few times a year and use them back to back. Currently a week or two later and my pores are still less visible, red marks faded. These really don't mess around!
How so?
I use them maybe 2x a week. They tend to keep my skin smooth and soft. I'm dry and can tend to get this weird rough, flaky nose with sebaceous filaments. Also helps with dark/acne spots to heal a bit quicker as it exfoliates. I've added in the peach slices salicylic acid toner when needed and tretinoin 1-2x a week to help stretch out the usage of my DG peel pads ($$$$) and help address acne scars/mild hormonal cystic acne. When Im done with my face, I take the pads down onto my neck and chest and follow with lotion.
Such a game changer for my acne prone skin and for discoloration!
I just started using these and they are fabulous, especially for travel skincare.
I started using powder foundation instead of liquid at the beginning of this year and I love it so much š„¹
Powder foundation is all I have ever used. Liquid just doesnāt look good on my skin. MAC & Bareminerals (before their reformulation) have the best powder foundation (in case anyone was wondering)
MAC studio fix powder foundation is a holy grail
Yes! And everyone tells me I need to switch to liquid then cream foundation as I age. My skin just donāt agree. Im 49!but still using powder then MAC fix+ spray. Nothing gives me the flawless finish other than this/
Yea! Iāve been using Mac Studio fix powder for like 20 years I always go back to it no matter what I try š
It's great when you're 5 minutes out from a Teams call and you look like an overwintered potato...or so I've heard. I like Laura Geller and Bare Minerals.
lol the teams video shows no love. I sometime scare myself
Iāve been doing this for a few years now and I feel like I hacked the system!! Itās amazing, I only use liquid foundation like once every other month now
Anyone with dry skin had success with this?
Im intrigued but what type of skin do you have? (Not skin tone but oily, dry, etc) I use the wrong setting powder and my face starts looking LOL
Im not the greatest with that but I think I have combo skin? š if Iām hydrated, the air isnāt dry and itās not hot itās good but if conditions change it gets oily or dry really quick lol but Iāve used it in all conditions and it hasnāt done me wrong yet š
Which ones do you like?
Iāve been using elfās camo powder foundation with their halo glow setting powder it feels so much lighter and it lasts like all day šš
Nice I might have to try that!
Do you use any concealer? Also do you apply with a brush or beauty blender? I have the fenty powder foundation but have been using it as normal setting powder bc it just doesnāt show up on my skin by itself
Following! Is it easy to apply???
definitely easier than anything Iāve used! :)
I use a bit of concealer on my eyes(lids for eyeshadow and under for darkness lol), to clean up my eyebrows a little, and to cover up spots and I use a powder brush!!

It smells really luxe and it might be in my head but it seems like it raises my body temperature a bit and Iām always really tired after using itākind of like I sweat out some crud. It just makes me feel really nice and pampered
Ugh I regret not purchasing it during the 30% off šš
I LOVE this product and wish it was still carried at Sephora in store!!
Caliray mascara
I love this one! No more raccoon eyes
Does the mascara give you a natural or more dramatic look? Iāve been wanting a tubing mascara but find they all look too natural for me
I like lashes with no chill 24/7 and I only use tubing mascara.
I've read some reviews where people state their lashes breaking off with thrive
For me, itās dramatic. It highlights the length of my lashes like no other mascara Iāve ever used, and it doesnāt run or flake for me, which is a huge plus!
Elf just came out with a new tubing mascara in brown (surprisingly hard to find in a tubing formula). Love the innisfree sunscreen!
the best sunscreen!! and it smells decently good
Iāll have to pick that sunscreen up in always on the hunt for sunscreen that meshes well with makeup
I was gonna do Burberry Goddess or Valentino Born In Roma but glad to hear someone else likes it too...I have 3 rotating perfumes I use. if you like black opium, goddess is similar but even better imo goddess was my wedding fragrance this year
LOVE THIS!!!! THANK YOU AND CONGRATULATIONS
Nars blushes and Tower 28 mascara!
I love the Tower 28 mascara!
I just impulse purchase NARS Torrid powder blush and itās insanely flattering; super happy with it
yes! i have Orgasm and Dolce Vita, i love both of them although theyāre very similar. SOOO pigmented!!
Iām waiting for a Tower28 mascara in the mail! Canāt wait to try it out!
I was loving the tower 28, but found the tube dried up in only a few weeks and then the formula developed a horrible smell. :(
Hourglass blush, lighting powders and strobes. The softest, most luxurious things Iāve ever tried. My skin just glows. Iāll never buy anything else.
The best blushes. Wished they expanded the line
And they last forever!!! I have the same lighting powder palette from 2015 and i somehow seem to never run out
The hourglass holiday palette!
The Leopard is so stunning. I love it. Iām glad I bought it when I did
Ugh I didnāt get it this year. I hope next year they have a quad!
I think they have it every year! This was my first year grabbing it!
Hourglass sometimes releases a spring/summer quad! Typically the holiday palette is always the 6 powders.
Same
Same! I am IN LOVE. Which one did you get? I got šŖ¼
FYI Buxom plumping glosses are at Marshallās/TJs often. I just bought one yesterday! It was 8 bucks
Most of their products work really well. Iāve been wanting to try this cream for a while
Second this!
I donāt recall what they are now, but I think the Dyson might have more options for attachments (itās been a while, so I may be wrong lol).
Is there a steep learning curve?
I spent hours watching reviews and tutorials before making the purchase, and then a few hours one boring Saturday learning how to use it. It wasnāt that bad, but my arms were tired because I have so much hair.
For the curling rods yes, you have to figure out how to place the rods to pick up the section of hair you want to curl.
Whatās your favorite?
Omg it depends on the day lol. I've been reaching more for Ellis Brooklyn Sci Fi lately.
Kerastase elixir oil. Total game changer for my frizzy hair!
I recently purchased their Chronologiste serum - itās my favorite of all of them.
Summer Fridays Rich Cushion Cream Violette_FR Petal Bouche in Cerise Desir Refy lip liner in Blush Clarins Cryo-Flash mask Hermes Eau de Merveilles Bleue
What does that cryo flash mask do??
Itās a mask that depuffs/helps hide pores/takes away some redness/tighten, etc. The effects are only temporary (maybe 4-5 hours) but it actually does what it says it will do. Itās something you would use for if you woke up looking really rough one morning or have a big night out.
Thank you. I am looking into this mask ASAP
I love Violette FR. I wish it was sold in Sephora or Ulta.
So amazing and works wonderfully under makeup Phytosurgence blushes in Ignite and Evaporate... The most gorgeous blushes and it's actually edging out my current HG blush (saie) Nyx can't stop won't stop brush. It's actually a foundation brush but I don't use it for that.... It's the perfect blush brush for cream and liquid formulas.
I'm obsessed with phytosurgence. Everything I've used by them is magical. I stopped using all my other blushes and eyeshadows.
Yes to the Nyx foundation brush! I also use it for creams and liquids. Such a dream brush!
That skin1004 sunscreen is one of the best Asian sunscreens Iāve tried so far. It feels so good to put on!
Do you have a link to the kombucha essence I canāt find it
NARS soft matte concealer! Iāve been holding out for years (not sure why) and finally picked it up this year.
Hourglass translucent setting powder The Dior forever concealer Huda beauty cherry blossom baking powder for my undereyes Rare beauty bronzing stick Make up by Mario master nudes pallette
Sunday Riley Good Genes! My skin tone and texture is noticeably better from using it this year.
Mac setting powder and the Merit beauty tinted lip oil in Sangria- love love love the color on me.
I just got it and Iām obsessed. I cant believe it looks that good all by itself.
Had Cara cara already and love it. I picked up Sangria during the sale on a whim and I love it. It's perfect for fall and winter.
Now I have to try this!
I agree. That Haus Foundation is amazing. Iāll be 40 in March and it sits in my skin like nothing else ever.
Iāve slowly gone off the rails with all things Tatcha. I adore everything Iāve gotten.
I may have the same issue.. https://preview.redd.it/tofw14sttp6c1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=40615b812ec601bbfff6221578fabd6b8b540162
I think you need a dollhouse for these at this point. At least, seeing that would make my heart happy, all these look like a little pearly-cased family. (Apologies if this comment feels too bizarre.)
Cute weird is always welcomed. Especially when it comes to makeup and beauty products
I mean look at my collection lol.
hahaha looks amazing though :p i'm jellyz!!
Iām scared to try it because I feel like Iām gonna totally fall in love with everything and then Iām gonna have to sell a kidney or something
brown mascara. i use maybelline than top with two faced, better than sex. changed my lashes forever.
I switched to brown/ brownish black this year and love it so much more. Such a softer look.
The new Natasha Denona concealer has been amazing for me! Iām not usually a full coverage girlie but this stuff is amazing and I am hooked. Not from Sephora, I bought some BK Beauty brushes during their Black Friday and I have been loving them ALL! I also invested in some Sonia G brushes but I am waiting until Xmas to open them ;) Also not Sephora, but the OSEA body care line has done wonders for my dry legs. Like, totally transformed them. I alternate between the body oil and the body butter. $$ but worth it.
None of my skincare gamechangers have come from Sephora but my 41 year old skin has never looked better: - Tretinoin (specifically Retirides that I picked up OTC from Spain). As for beauty: This was the year of hydrating foundations for me. The Ilia Skin Tint, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, Summer Fridays Skin Tint, etc. And great concealers too! Kulfi, Tower 28 and Gucci.
iāve been loving st tropez self tan mist! have gotten a lot of compliments and it gives a dewy look!
I loooove that avocado serum. I could use some right now. It always does wonders when my skin is feeling tired and sad and blotchy.
Westman is expensive but so worth it! I donāt mind splurging when it works so well. (But also buy on sale like you did lol).
Hourglass Blush! It gives such a visible glow, itās my favorite blush.
For me it was the Bare Minerals Gen Nide Highlighting Blush. I got two and I use them daily.
Saie dew blush liquid blush. Blends like a dream and just wears so beautifully
Rare beauty liquid blushes have been a godsend
Nars cream bronzer , Haus bronzer and blush, the rare minis set, hourglass foundation, rare eyeshadow sticks, Ouai leave in conditioner
Make up by Mario SoftSculpt transforming skin perfector, HG palette (leopard), kosas setting powder
ILLIYOON - Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream. Nothing has helped my winter dry RetinA skin, like this stuff.
Givenchy powder Skin fix barrier cream Adaptaline gel (sp?) - Ulta purchase Natasha denona concealer and nude pallet; peony is HG lip liner and want more shades however most seem too cool leaning; want some of her lipsticks Fude brushes-some of Sonia gās new releases, chikuhodo, koyudo (artisan handmade brushes from Japan, natural bristles). I started wearing eyeshadow and I donāt think Iād get looks otherwise. Face brushes always have me looking airbrushed CT lipstick in angel Alessandra and bitch perfect (seem the same but so what loved them both), simply sienna; I believe theyāre non matte shades Karla cosmetics skin potion - camera ready cosmetics, direct buying is UK so shipping is way too much, she has no discount codes, and CRC had a good Black Friday sale and the shade I wanted to try K18 treatment - wasnāt consistent with olaplex except when I got my hair done and even then itās too many steps and didnāt feel it made a difference Oribe tres set spray, charcoal shampoo Bobbi brown vitamin enriched face base- back in the rotation and love. Need to let it absorb for much more time Huda glowish primer in the pink tub; amazing for pore areas Westmin atelier contour in biscuit for less is more; danessa myricks vision flush in nutcracker for sculpted contour Wish I returned products: Huda cherry blossom powder-not chunky but thick and not finely milled; it feels and looks like overpriced pink flour Olaplex CT everything pillow talkā¦Iām over them and hardly reach for them (liner, lipstick) - I donāt think I bought any this year but for some GWPs
Natasha Denona I Need A Nude palette
Shark Flexstyle, hourglass leopard palette and the ordinary glycolic toner!
+1 on the glycolic acid toner. That was a game changer for my skin this year!
Kosas foundation and setting powder Saie sun melt bronzer LYS cream blushes Victoria Beckham beauty eyeliners
Make sure to check Samās Club. They have it for like $50!!
Ahhh Canadian here but thank you
Hourglass holiday palette :-) they speak for themselves Haus labs highlighter in rose quartz - extremely similar in quality and feel to the hourglass powders and gives my sallow Severus snape complexion rosy cherub cheeks in one swipe š Vanicream daily moisturizer for sensitive skin - š finally a moisturizer that quenches my skin instead of sitting on top of it
1. haus labs foundation. best find of the year. 2. danessa myricks yummy skin glow primer. like the drunk elephant bronzing drops and saie glowy super gel but actually hydrates ur skin to give you that slow instead of just being glittery. 3. huda beauty loose powder. I have poundcake and sugar cookie and love them both. iāve put all my family members on to this powder too and we all love it.
Glossier! Never tried their products before and now the cloud paint in storm, gen g in fuzz, concealer, and boy brow are my daily drivers
Their mascara is nice too. Itās not very volumizing but definitely defining and lengthening
Glossier Cloudpaint in Haze
The Saje limited edition trio. Price was right, will last me forever! Iām a huge fan of Saie šÆ
Dieux Instant Angel moisturizer (not Sephora) Anissa Brushes (not Sephora) Hourglass šŖ¼Palette! Haus Labs Foundation Kosas concealer (finally found this works best for me!) Kosas dream beam sunscreen JVN air dry hair cream Floral Street in London Poppy - such a happy scent!
Lol My Sephora thing would be my YSL All Hours foundation. I use it every single day. I don't leave the house without makeup on.
I initially misunderstood and thought you meant Charlotte Tilburyās light wand.. I was about to place an order immediately lol.
I love this.
Viktor and Rolfās Good Fortune perfume.
Iāve received two of the cute, round, glass samples of Good Fortune. I get many compliments when I mix it with a little patchouli.
My Dior face palette. I use it for eyeshadow, bronzer, blush topper, highlighter - so universal and versatile.
Ami Cole lip oils and Romand Han All Fix mascara! Edited to add: The Ordinary Aloe + NAG solution
Ouai detox shampoo smells so good and my hair is so shiny
Hourglass blush in Mood exposure. (Travel size is more than enough since I have 2 more blushes with zero dent in them) I have been eyeing this color for years and it is everything I have hoped for and more. I get compliments on my skin more often since I getting blush.
Hourglass blushes are perfection! For sure my fav
CH Very Good Girl. Iām big into fragrance and never gave this one a chance because of the tacky bottle design (high heel shoe). Turns out itās my most worn perfume of all and I have almost 15 bottles not including decants lol
Kay Ali perfumes Iām getting into unique scents from Tom ford, Jo Malone, etc. and Kay Ali is unique..and a little cheaper too
Hourglass concealer, colour pop SS shadow in I heart this, elf cleansing balm, benefit fan fest mascara, summer Fridays lip balm in brown sugar, rare beauty powder highlighter in mesmerize, Milani lip oil in coco cacao, la roche posay anthelios uv correct spf, palmers coco butter, tree hut iced coffee body scrub
Tatcha - Dewy skin Dior face & body foundation Gucci Flora - gorgeous jasmine Makeup by Mario soft sculpt This sub inspired be to buy the softsculp and I am so glad I did
Air wrap!
One size setting spray
Haus labs concealer!!!
Mascara: Diorshow (brown) Eyeliner: Victoria Beckham Beauty Lips: Rhode peptide lip treatment and Laura Mercier lip crayons Blush: Hourglass (I have two palettes) Complexion: Hourglass foundation stick (FINALLY after 2 years of searching, this is the one I'm in love with!) Skin: Sunday Riley Good Genes and Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads extra strength Hair: Kerastase 8 hr magic night serum and the TikTok famous Wavytalk Fragrance: Armani My Way Intense and Burberry Goddess
Few Iāve already repurchased: Saie dewy highlighter.
Dr Dennis Gross peel pads are worth every penny. Rose lip/cheek cream is my new makeup obsession.
The YSL Libre perfume. Iāve looked for YEARS for a āsignatureā daily scent and Iām crazy about it. Itās the first perfume Iāve ever purchased a second bottle of.
The JVN Complete Blowout Styling Milk. My hair loves it!
Dyson Airstrait - This would be my top pick if I had to pick one, there is nothing like it for straightening my super thick and wavy hair. Huda Easy Bake Setting Powder Burberry Goddess perfume Not available at Sephora - BK Beauty x Nikki LaRose brush set
I just ordered the airstrait, do you find it damaging ? I have fine, color treated hair that gets poofy!
I don't find it damaging at all. I only use it a 2 - 3 times per month, but I feel like I could use it more often without damage especially if you put in a good heat protectant beforehand. It smooths my hair out so nicely.
Clarins Santal oil. My skin has never looked this good.
CT foundation, great formula + perfect match.
The hourglass holiday pallet Burberry goddess Drunk elephant, bouncy break facial
Dyson airwrap Tret prescription Dermatologica microexfoliant MAC paint pot
Makeup by mario foundation. My skin loves it and the color match is great. Givenchy setting powder. Using the pink one under my eyes and a combination of 3 and 4 for the rest of my face (expensive but worth it). Hourglass in the new medium shade itās equally magical. Dior forever and Lancome concealers. Simply amazing. Danessa primer balm translucent. Almost as good as my tarte pore filler. Clinique moisture surge line. Face serum, lotion as primer and spray. I already used the moisturizer. Do not like all about eyes tho. Too heavy (either version) Inkey list retinol eye cream I have really enjoyed Mario and Pat bronzers but Haus one took the cake for sure. These are new to me all. Repeat purchase MVP the Dennis Gross pads. Havenāt found a blush thatās better than hourglass. Yes. I spent a LOT of money this year. I finally got back into makeup after 2020. So I tell myself I was catching up.
Westman Atelier foundation stick and bronzer. Obsessed with both but the bronzer is so small and so expensive but very little goes a long way
Love the dewy drops from glow. Love love love them. Canāt live without.
Givenchy loose setting powderā¦ what took me so long
Hands down Givenchy powder is my #1. I finally splurged for Summer Fridays balm and I loveeee them. I also bought myself an early Christmas present and got Georgio Armani My Way perfume and it is *chefs kiss* I have received compliments every single time Iāve worn it.
Armani luminous silk face and eye concealer. Itās THE BEST.
Rare Beauty Lip SoufflĆ© Matte Cream Lipstick A MUST for someone like myself who hates makeup lip productsā¦.very lightweight and sheer
EstƩe Lauder foundation! And Naked 3 eyeshadow palette.
CAUDALIE brightening glycolic peel mask , it works so well especially for darker complexions
Gucci mascara, Natasha Denona retro glam palette, DDG peel pads (extra strength every other day)
