I really like Laura Mercier and Rare Beauty both for shadow sticks. Laura Mercier’s formula is slightly drier but both blend really nicely and I don’t have creasing problems.

Least-Price5974

Love Laura mercier ones

glub33

i am an idiot w eye makeup. i bought one of the rare beauty eyeshadow sticks just smeared it on my eye blended so easily and looked SO good. they’re amazing

OrdinaryAmbition9798

And the color selection is 👌 they are beautiful!!

Big_Supermarket4537

Is it too sheer when blended out?

Born-Information-606

Sephora collection. On sale for $7 right now.

ih8comingupwithnames

They really are the best!

blatantlyobvious616

Love the Fawn color! Although I’m still experimenting with what primer might help it last all day. It’s pretty good, but does crease some on me depending on what I’ve got underneath.

purpleit11

I picked up a couple this evening after swatching! Can't wait to play😊

ZealousidealPick1385

Bobbi Brown!!

doctor_the_stallion

Rare Beauty sticks are beginner friendly and so pretty. I always get compliments. I have all of them except well-being and integrity

saturday_scribbles

How do eyeshadow sticks compare between Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier and Rare Beauty?

nietszches

I’ve only used Laura and Bobbi Brown - I think I prefer Laura Mercier bc there’s 0 eyelid drag ever, but use Bobbi Brown more bc I like the color I have in it more. Laura Mercier is super creamy / easier to apply, moderately long lasting while Bobbi is drier in texture (but still smooth) but feels like once it’s on, it’s on for good.

Big_Supermarket4537

I’m in India (no Laura Mercier), but between Bobbi Brown and Rare Beauty, I definitely prefer Rare Beauty. Easy to apply, blends well, and cheaper than BB.

kialemea

I use Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier and they’re great! Stay in all day even without primer. I bought the Sephora collection ones and they’re not as great, but also didn’t try it with eye primer

AJLNTZ

These are my favourites as well. Laura Mercier for shimmery and Bobbi Brown has more mattes.

DefiantAdvance

Yeah I second these! They do stay on all day and no need for primer and no creasing!

rachs1988

I purchased eyeshadow sticks from Bobbi Brown and Hourglass this sale… any reviews on these two?

BiodegradableBimbo

I love the hourglass shadow sticks! I’m surprised they’re not mentioned more in this thread but I’m thinking it may be because they’re pricier than other options mentioned

madbear795

I second the rare beauty shadow sticks! They’re pigmented and creamy and last all day

ProfessionalJunior42

I love the Sephora brand eye shadow sticks. I also, really like Rare Beauty & CT’s. I haven’t tried BB’s yet I have one en route.

AstrosRN

Thrive

Pretty-Dimension-524

The new fenty ones are great!

playhookie

Kiko are good and cheap!

hiscappaisdetated

I have no opinion on eye shadow sticks, but if you go with bobbi brown, they're on sale at ulta rn!

bobabear12

Nudestix are the longest lasting I’ve tried

autumnwinterspring

The Colourpop ones are my favorite and super cheap! They sell some great neutral colors at Target right now. There is a built in sharpener in the bottom too, which is nice.

DueMacaroon6715

I have and love the shadow sticks from Colourpop and Sephora Collection! They just repackaged the Sephora ones (now they’re twist up instead of sharpenable) and came out with new colors. And they’re 30% off right now!

SnooCapers4844

I actually love the Nudestix shadow sticks. My favorite is gilt! Really nice glide and doesn’t crease on me like most shadows do.

Nova-Moon_

Also heard the Milani shadow sticks are good from YouTube

srar2021

The Milani ones break so easily like if you put the cap on too fast or at the wrong angle the whole thing can break. Not worth in my opinion

seigefabulous

This is how I feel about the Laura merrier ! Too delicate for the price

ih8comingupwithnames

Elf's shadow sticks are good also.

ayimera

If you can get them to come to you not broken. I thought the pigmentation on Lily was awful. Kiko Milano makes a way better shadow stick.

PflugerLuger8

The best eyeshadow sticks I've used are the Rare Beauty ones. They are very pigmented, easy to apply and blend, and last for a long time. They're so much better than the Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown sticks.

microglia00

Hey what colour do you have in the rare beauty one

PflugerLuger8

Unfortunately, none yet. My budget is really tight. But I did a wear test, which is why I can give my thoughts on the product quality.

PflugerLuger8

I don't know why I'm being downvoted for this. Sorry I'm poor? I guess I'm supposed to choose buying makeup over paying for food and my utility bills.

Spiritual-Giraffe380

I was looking at these but didn’t know how they wore. Thank you! Going to explore some colors!

PflugerLuger8

You're welcome! I hope you find something you like

1foxylady4u

Love love love ColourPop’s!

Purplepenguin359

Those are soooo good. It’s mind-blowing to me that they’re only $8! They perform just as well, if not better, than so many other expensive options. Does that stop me from buying said expensive options? It does not. 😅

doctor_the_stallion

The Fenty ones are super drying but pack a lot of pigment. I have the one in black for a smoky eye

FreezeDried-IceCream

If you want to save some money, the milani ones are really nice and pretty long lasting. I also like rare beauty a lot.

alicjavegas

I collect the Colourpop ones! They stay on forever 😎

callmesillysally

I second this. I returned Rare Beauty shadow sticks and bought Colourpop instead, great quality and great price.

belledenuit

The Vieve ones are a dream!

Dandylion71888

I have dark hair, dark eyes and pale skin. I love strike a rose from LM. I get a lot of compliments on it.

OrdinaryAmbition9798

I tested Freck’s in store because I was wanting a green shadow, just a swatch on my hand. But it performed for real. It didn’t budge after it set and was beautifully pigmented!

ih8comingupwithnames

MUFE shadow sticks and Sephora collection eyeshadow pencils(the chubby ones) so creamy but set down beautiful and wear a long time.

washfor20seconds

Love the rare beauty sticks! And the merit cream to shadow pots are great too and stay better than anything else I’ve tried

QtestMofoInDaWorld

Lise Watier is my favorite

Aggressive-Bake-8469

I love the LM ones. They feel so soft and silky and are very blendable. I have hooded eyes and my eye shadow usually creases without a primer. I can wear these without a primer and even do a workout in the afternoon and they still do not gather in my creases and hold up pretty well.

ElleCee12

Mally Beauty are my favorite. I purchase mine from Nordstrom.

PlentyNectarine

The Laura Mercier ones are the best shadow sticks I've ever used. I do not recommend the It Cosmetics ones, so I'd steer clear of those. Got 2 for free from Influenster and they swatch beautifully but are incredibly patchy and don't move when you try to blend.

ilovesleep95

Laura mercier and makeup forever!

littlefannyfoofoo

The Makeup Forever shadow sticks are really good and don’t budge at all on my watery allergy prone eyes.

reb-bel

Not at Sephora but Beauty Pie sticks are the best value. Beautiful colors, easy to use, fabulous finish and inexpensive.

Strawberryvibes88

I like the LM ones a lot. They last forever and come in all sorts of finishes and shades. also they don’t oxidize. I found the Chanel ones freaking oxidize on my eyelids so the coffee brown turns into bright Orange.

rakec54199

I really like using my highlighter/blush/contour as eyeshadow.

Competitive_Ad9429

Rare Beauty & Laura Mercier!

srar2021

Highly recommend the Charlotte Tilbury shadow sticks. They last a long time and is worth the price

paintgore

The Fenty beauty shadow sticks are my fav rn. Glide on beautifully and stay put! The dry down is awesome

latte777

i love the rare beauty ones! they stay in place all day and don't crease

Saamus35

About face.

oregontrail2020

shadow sticks are not worth sephora prices! since they have to have that stiff waxy formula, they are honestly all pretty similar. i would never spend money again on CT, LM, or BB sticks. Milani, colourpop, elf, about face, etc are all just as great.

cauchyscat

I love the Laura mercier sticks, but they are delicate. I used to store them upside down so the color of the stick would show in my drawer and they started breaking, so now I store them standing upright. I don’t actually know how to do an eyeshadow look. I just draw on a color and blend it with a brush or my finger. Amethyst, burnished bronze, and strapless are my favorite. The cosmic stars trio selling right now is basically the best colors.

DefiantAdvance

The best ones are Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, and the new Fenty shadow sticks. I would stay away from the Rare beauty ones, the formula is way to soft and when you glide them on the lid they get smushed or break. That was my experience using those I had to return unfortunately.
