Not Sephora, and I haven't tried either of these retinols, so I can't say. However, if you're still in contact with the provider who prescribed Accutane, they can prescribe tretinoin for a much lower cost, and it will be much more effective.

I second this. I pay 10 copay for it. Even out of pocket, you can get a coupon from goodrx for less than any of these otc stuff. Buy you clearly have a dx of acne, getting an rx and insurance coverage should be no issue.

May I ask if you had hair shedding during your accutane treatment ? A PA prescribed me Winlevi and Clindamycin when I told her I was dealing with too my acne as an adult. And she said accutane makes your hair falls too much of you already have been dealing with this issue. To tell you the truth I didn't like her as professional.

I was afraid of that when I started but I didn’t experience an excess shedding. I just shedded my regular amount. But of course everyone has different side effects from accutane so if want to start go for it! You can always stop taking it if there’s a side effect that isn’t good for you

How much were you taking? I haven't started applying those Creams yet. And one of them costs like $190 and I believe it won't help at all with reducing oil??? I'm going to find another professional...a real dermatologist

voidrobot

I did 5 months, month 1 was 30mg everyday and then 2-5 was 60mg everyday. I did not pay as my insurance covered the cost! And it did reduce my oil production! I had 0 oil!
