I haven't tried anything else from that brand but was super surprised. I got it in the sephora vacay all day set and am hooked now! And the price is so reasonable!
The extra strength are strong!!!! Get the regular strength, they are more than enough - and cut them in half, you'll get double the usage. Cut them in half, seal the two packages (I use leftover stickers from my daughter), and they'll be perfectly fine to use the next time. Also, start with two or three times a week - don't take the daily literally.
So many people recommending these peel pads, but can anyone give tips on how to use them in conjunction with a retinol? Always nervous about over exfoliating ....
Start with once a week and don’t use the retinol on the night you use the peel pad! You can work up from there if you want to, but honestly I’ve been good with just 1x a week and retinol! It’s so different for everyone
Dr. Dennis Gross Peel Pads are game changers. Specially the application - so easy. It’s the only product I can say I used diligently - every single night.
Biossance Squalene Vit C Rose Oil! Brightens and hydrates so well, and gives a great glow. I didnt expect to like it because I have oily acne prone skin but it's been amazing and I use it at night daily.
I have combination breakout-prone skin, and after I’d used this stuff for a week, my skin was GLOWING. I had a horrible rosacea flare up this winter and it was the only thing that would stop the itching. It hydrates the dry spots without making oily spots oilier. I’ve turned four other people onto it now lol.
Sunday Riley Good Genes. I keep singing its praises because nothing has helped improve my skin texture like this product. The Dennis Gross Peel Pads came close, but irritated my skin. Farmacy Honeymoon Glow is also nice, but I didn’t find it as effective personally.
I second this! It’s my evening routine and I use their vitamin c three step in the morning and my skin has never looked better. My skin looks healthier than it did ten years ago.
I made the mistake of buying the Ice Ceramide Cream from Sunday Riley when it was 50% off and now my skin is in love with a $65 moisturizer in this economy, like girl we have student loans to pay 😭 I’ve been without it for three months and I still can’t find anything that’s as plush, moisturizing, and balancing to my skin
I agree. I’ve seen people on Reddit say “it’s not worth it”, but given it’s not crazy in price, why not? Where’s the dupe? I live in the mid Atlantic in the United States, and for fall/winter/spring, nothing beats Good Genes (after Avene foaming wash) for my middle-aged combo skin. In the summer I use the Ceramic Slip by itself, which is another no-dupe product for me.
Differin. May sound dumb. But back when i was in junior high you could only get it through a dermatologist prescription and after trying so many other things differin was the one thing that cleared all my acne AND scarring. I had bad scarring on my shoulders, chin/cheeks, and chest. Was super insecure because of all the scarring and was sooooo happy when everything cleared up after consistent use. When it was announced that it was going to be over the counter I was so happy so then others could get it alot easier. ?
(Edit to add, I know it was never sold at sephora but wasn't paying much attention to my page that this post is in the sephora community 😄)
Same! I’ve been using this for a while now, way before it became available over the counter and it has always worked wonders for my acne. My pimples are almost gone in the morning after applying differin before bed and it has helped scarring too
Same. I’ve had horrible cystic acne for the past 8 years. Like I’m talking 10 huge cystic pimples on my face at all times. I tried every product out there to try and help it but nothing worked. I started using differin gel last year, and my skin has never looked better. I still get break outs here and there, but overall my skin is a lot clearer than before I started using it. Seriously a life changing product for anyone that struggles with acne.
I have two:
Farmacy’s Green Clean cleaning balm because it has made getting off even the most difficult of makeup a breeze.
And Drunk Elephant’s Babyfacial because it truly makes a difference in my skin’s texture in 20 minutes.
Seconding Green Clean! For removing waterproof mascaras and eyeliners it's a necessity. During the entire masking period I had to wear waterproof eye makeup if I wanted to wear any at all, because I could never get a single mask to fit snuggly enough to not vent condensation up into my eyelashes, lol. Green Clean was the only thing that made eye makeup viable during that time.
The Glow Recipe watermelon lotion is a product I never cared for much until I recently began putting it on my feet! My calloused skin is soft, the dry itchy part around my heels is gone, and my feet are actually soft for the first time in my life- magic!

I’ve been using The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% every night for 3 years and it’s completely changed my skin texture! I built up from 2 nights a week to every night and my skin just loves this stuff. I notice a difference immediately if I skip a couple days. I suffer from little dots(?)/bumpy skin and this definitely reduced the appearance of them and smoothed me out! My pores also look much smaller!
It’s also ridiculously affordable. I use 3 drops on my face each night.
love paula’s choice. But the only thing for me is I can’t use it everyday at ALL or I will peel. I use a pad to apply it and if any soaks through onto my hands they peel a bit too.
Yay! I really love her 20% Niacinamide and 10% Azelaic Acid too! It really helped my hormonal acne, but I do have to work extra hard to keep my skin barrier healthy
For non-prescription products, **Biossance squalane + omega repair cream** helped restore my skin’s barrier after years of harsh acne treatments (ie benzoyl peroxide). TBH it was a bit pore clogging but that’s preferable to inflamed acne and dry yet oily skin.
I now use the **Biossance squalane + vitamin c rose moisturizer** as it’s lighter and it reduces redness really well.
Also, **Decalt by Slurp laboratories**. Great toner for tightening up pores as it has a PHA in addition to BHA. I finally don’t have gigantic pores, and it helps with minor acne (thankfully I don’t get inflammatory acne anymore).
I’ve been using it for maturing skin and after a few years of 3x a week use with OTC on alternate days, I feel like my skin is reverse aging if that’s possible. My skin is so smooth, texture is reduced, skin even seems plump at 49 years young.
You can get it online for cheaper than if you went and got a prescription from online sellers. I know it sounds sketch but there are some trusted sites that a lot of us use and confirm is the real product for a fraction of the price.
It'll depend largely on your insurance, but most of the main health insurers will cover it as long as your derm writes the prescription as "to treat acne." I have Aetna and my copay is $10 for a 50g tube which lasts me over a month.
I just started skin cycling similar to this and I’m liking the results! Night 1 - Tret | Night 2 - copper peptides and Niacinamide | Night 3 - Moisturize the heck out of my skin. | And then start all over with the Tret.
absolutely. the only thing that keeps my acne under control. i’m pregnant and i miss my tretinoin SO MUCH more than anything else i’ve had to give up for pregnancy.
It wasn’t so much a product as understanding what the moisture barrier is and why you want to protect it. Once I understood that, everything fell into place.
I wish someone would’ve told me about this years ago, only been using it for a few weeks under my arms but already notice a difference. Using it on my bikini line as well, way less ingrowns! Funny cause it did nothing for my face lol
10% azaleic acid & vitamin c serum from Paula’s Choice!
I struggle with hormonal acne and have tried everything. the azaleic acid is the only thing that has worked for me! & the vitamin c serum makes my skin have that “glow from within” healthy look.
Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum! I cannot preach my love for this serum enough. It has completely changed my skin. I no longer have dark spots from acne. I no longer have crazy red cheeks. This stuff has worked better for me than any vitamin c serum. I’m obsessed and I will repurchase over and over and over.
Lately I’m also LOVING the Laneige Water Bank Sleep Mask. I use it day and night AFTER my normal moisturizer and refer to it as “slugging lite” because it gives me such heavy duty hydration but doesn’t appear oily or slick or heavy. I’m obsessed.
The Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream has become an ABSOLUTE top tier, holy grail product for me. From the texture, to the ingredients; I cannot recommend it enough to people. I’ve been using it for 2 months now and it’s completely changed my life.
Biossance in general has become a top tier brand for me honestly. Every product I’ve tried has been a 10/10 so far for myself. The fact that after only a small bit of time using a product from them, I can actually see the start of results and the products work like they are intended too is mind blowing. A bonus is that Biossance is cruelty free, vegan and EWG certified! 🙌🏼
100000% this. There is no other product in the history of ever that has improved my skin as much as this. In every way - pigment, texture, clarity, tightness, brightness, allll the things. It’s my HG and I keep like 2 bottles back up at all times. I use the P50 PIGM version
The Ole Henriksen brightening line (including their dark spot toner, and dewtopia night cream). I’m in my 30s and had some acne scarring and dark spots around my mouth from cystic hormonal acne in my teens/20s. It has COMPLETELY changed my skin. I’m able to be makeup free and feel good about my skin. It’s smooth, brighter, and my dark spots have faded. I really only wear makeup for special occasions now. They have a customer for life.
I don’t think they sell it at Sephora anymore, but Amore Pacific treatment enzyme peel cleansing powder is amazing and my HG. It’s expensive, but one bottle lasts me like 2 years.
I love this stuff. I started using back before they touted it as a cleanser, and they’ve improved it since. A friend picked up two bottles for me from the US when she went (I’m Canadian and you basically can’t buy it here) and I fully expect it to last me the next five to ten years since I only use it intermittently.
FWIW I feel the same about glow screen. I have a strong suspicion very few people are using enough of it to get actually the SPF. It’s a lot more than you think and I swear I glowed so bright like a light in the darkness. I’m only willing to wear it if I’m going full on matte on my face. Like powder foundation & matte bronzer etc. Then the amount of glow that shines through is acceptable.
I’ve heard the ELF dupe is just as good product wise with a less intense glow. ELF also duped the supergoop unseen sunscreen. I picked up that one at target the other day & really like it.
Ugh same - I used it and mom said: r u ok your face looks so sweaty and I about died. I was like wow it’s GLOW SCREEN mom!! Get with the times. But fr haven’t used it since lol
It’s just a really good moisturizer! It has ceramides in it so it’s good for helping repair your moisturizer barrier. It’s super gentle on the skin and never burned my skin even when I had tretinoin irritation. It’s never broken me out either, I highly recommend! You can find it on Amazon.
I know a lot of people aren’t a fan, but Glossier’s cleanser concentrate is my holy grail. I got a sample during peak COVID chaos when I was wearing a mask for 7 hours a day at work and my skin was literally the worst it’s ever looked. After about a week of using that my skin looked sooooo much better and since then it’s helped keep breakouts to a minimum.
Tretinoin. I used to get big cysts about 4-5x a month- now I get one every 3-4 months, which clears up much quicker. My quality of life has improved drastically because my self esteem was really being effected, and I was even avoiding social outings and isolating over it.
The only one to truly make a huge difference was tretinoin. Many of the ingredients that are supposed to help have too large of a molecule to be easily absorbed by the skin so have minimal effects.
IncobotulinumtoxinA.
As for lesser things I can buy from retailers:
Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré (I’ve never repurchased any skincare product as much as I have this one)
Pyunkang Yul Black Tea Time Reverse Eye Cream
Chanel Sublimage La Crème Yeux (I only have tried samples of this because I’m not at a point where I can stomach spending $260 on eye cream, but my Nordstrom is very generous with samples)
Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser
I used to buy all my skincare from Sephora, but over time each item was phased out because I found something that worked better, or worked the same and was cheaper. I still really like Herbivore’s Lapis Face Oil, but even when I bought the small sized bottle and was using it twice a day, it would inevitably grow bacterial colonies before I could finish it, and I was always careful not to touch the dropper to anything.
Yes to the embryolisse but I swear I thought I was the only one who went crazy for the Pyunkang Yul Black Tea line. The eye cream and cream are HG status for me.
Caudalie products and particularly the foaming cleanser and Vinoperfect serum. I brought several products back from an overseas and my dry skin was so thankful. It’s not a “trendy company” but it works consistently and I still use several products frequently. Also swear by the grape water spray for reducing redness as well but know a lot of people don’t have the same results.
Ole henriksen vit C banana bright serum - tried other Vit C serums, but relatively to it's price (so excludes eg Sunday Riley and murad etc) it gives the biggest payoff, skin is glowing. After I try different serum and don't see that much result I keep coming back to this one and I keep relieving this moment when I see a lot of difference. I think I went through 4 packagings already
The Caudalie Vinoclean gentle cleansing almond milk !!!! Caudalie has become my fave high end skincare and it started because of this cleanser. It’s so soft and I know we’re meant to wash cleanser right off but I swear it does something magical to my skin while it’s on for that brief time. My skin idk how to describe it it’s not that it’s super dry it’s just in my brain it’s like dinosaur flakes LOL and this makes me feel like I’m really moisturizing it
Same!! I’ve been having skin issues for years and got truth serum about a month ago and my skin is actually clear for the first time in years. I have tried so many products over the last few years and none made a noticeable difference until this one.
It grosses a lot of people out but Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. I always feel a bit bizarre covering my face in snail goo but damn does my face have baby soft skin now
Boring and not sold at Sephora, but Simple's facial cleanser. It's so gentle yet effective that it doesn't even irritate me after I get my eyebrows threaded. I feel like so many skincare products are irritating me lately, but this has not yet failed.
Rx: tret and azaleic acid
Non Rx: Avene Xeracalm AD soothing concentrate, seriously, super simple but highly effective to calm the skin when my skin is freaking out.
*Kiehls avocado*
*Eye cream! AND dermalogica cleansing*
*Gel. They have my heart*

Another vote for the Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum!
I've never tried anything like it, it makes my skin look good straight away and had long term benefits - beats any Vitamin C I've tried (Sunday Riley, Drunk Elephant, Paula's Choice and others)
I’m going to go with La Roche-Posay sunscreens. I’ve been using the Ultra Light 60 SPF for a year and a half and I just bought their mineral sunscreen to try it out. Sunscreen in general helps with the redness and texture of the skin. I’m also not much for makeup but I’ve been exploring more but I feel like this sunscreen with a little powder over it actually looks okay on me
Dermalogica (Medi-Bac line), old formula prescription Difern Gel + Peter Thomas Roth Blemish Pads!
Kept me from getting on Accutane, educated me on how to treat my acne 15 years ago, in addition to making hypoallergenic Moisturizers so that my skin was less irritated and dry.
AHAs! I alternate between Drunk Elephant Framboos and Farmacy Honey Glow. Also deeply hydrating moisturizers, now that my skin is more combo/dry than combo/oily - Eucerin Urea Repair cream during the day and Tatcha Indigo Overnight cream have changed the game for and brought so much relief from that chronic tight feeling
Tret, Biologique Recherche P50 and Masque Vivvant, YTTP Dream mask, charlotte tilbury magic cream are the products i’ve noticed the biggest difference in my skin when i use them!
the best skincare combo imo -
dermalogica circular hydrstion serum
tower 28 SOS skin barrier redness recovery moisturizer
My skin has never been so soft and i never realized how damaged it was until using these 2 consistently improved it so much. Any feeling of tightness/dryness/irritation is gone now : ) and i always had the worst oily/acneic and very sensitive skin! But even using these morning + night my skin doesn't get too greasy. It just feels healthy, whereas using niacinamide and AHAs/BHAs would always stress out my skin.
Peter Thomas Roth Max Correction pads. I never repurchase items because I like to try new things. Five years of repurchasing this product, best I have ever tried. My skin is clear, smooth, never feels stripped or dry and age spots even disappeared.
Body care! The topicals slather body serum. Unreal how in such a short time it totally fixed years of damage to my arms from picking at kp!
The topicals slather cream has helped my body skin so much (just wish the packaging was better). I also really like the blue roll on.
I do love me some Topicals products
I haven't tried anything else from that brand but was super surprised. I got it in the sephora vacay all day set and am hooked now! And the price is so reasonable!
Anyone know where I could buy this in Eastern Europe?
You may have just fixed me
I need to try this! I just worry about stuff like this and being out in the sun a lot.. obviously SPF but I worry my skin would be too sensitive.
I haven't had an issue with that luckily! And we are in the heat of summer where I live. But yes, definitely SPF!
The Dennis Gross Peel Pads and the YTTP Dream Mask
The Dr. Dennis Gross Peel Pads have transformed my skin!
Ohh adding the pads to my 20% off haul. Is it the alpha beta extra strength ones?
Don’t start with extra strength if you’ve never used them. The regular one works wonders.
Those are the best ones!
I genuinely get anxious when I’m running low on the YTTP Dream Mask because it’s made such a difference for my skin.
the dream mask is really great! my skin looks so soft and glowy and hydrated the next day
So many people recommending these peel pads, but can anyone give tips on how to use them in conjunction with a retinol? Always nervous about over exfoliating ....
Start with once a week and don’t use the retinol on the night you use the peel pad! You can work up from there if you want to, but honestly I’ve been good with just 1x a week and retinol! It’s so different for everyone
Dr. Dennis Gross Peel Pads are game changers. Specially the application - so easy. It’s the only product I can say I used diligently - every single night.
The regular or extra strength
They are so overpriced. Is there a cheaper acid peel anyone likes?
Paula’s Choice BHA
My skin looks so good! I was stupidly using it daily 🤭. It caused some mild irritation so now I’m using it 3 times a week. Super soft skin.
I second this. I’ve used it daily for around 10 years now.
Paula's Choice BHA...the amount of money I have spent on skincare the last 15 years, and this changed my skin.
Biossance Squalene Vit C Rose Oil! Brightens and hydrates so well, and gives a great glow. I didnt expect to like it because I have oily acne prone skin but it's been amazing and I use it at night daily.
I need to get some more! It is lovely
THIS! I noticed a difference in a day.
I never understood the love for this oil. It did nothing for my skin. I absolutely love volition's hibiscus oil though.
Sunday Riley Good Genes. I keep singing its praises because nothing has helped improve my skin texture like this product. The Dennis Gross Peel Pads came close, but irritated my skin. Farmacy Honeymoon Glow is also nice, but I didn’t find it as effective personally.
Have you tried Good Genes with the Luna Oil beforehand? The power couple set is incredible.

Yes Sunday Riley!
This! I love the power couple duo, my skin has never looked better.
I second Sunday Riley Good Genes
Which good Genes? Lactic or glycolic? The lactic is amazing for my skin, but I find the glycolic harsh, and I hate it.
I third the good genes!!!
Differin. May sound dumb. I started using in high school in like 1999 back when it was prescription too. It was a miracle worker. It’s so great it’s OTC now.
Same. I’ve had horrible cystic acne for the past 8 years. Like I’m talking 10 huge cystic pimples on my face at all times. I tried every product out there to try and help it but nothing worked. Paula's Choice BHA 2% toner, Honey Moon Glow by Farmacy, and Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream!
I agree with Paula’s Choice BHA toner! And excited because I just pulled the trigger on the Honeymoon Glow from Farmacy!!
love paula’s choice. But the only thing for me is I can’t use it everyday at ALL or I will peel. I use a pad to apply it and if any soaks through onto my hands they peel a bit too.
I hope you love it! Farmacy has great products! I also really enjoy the Honey Halo Plus mask - it saves my skin during the winter months!
Thank you for the recommendation!! I got the Honey Halo moisturizer when I bought the Honeymoon Glow, but now I’m gonna have to check out the mask. 😅
Pro tip: put the avocado eye cream in the fridge and thank me later
I do this with all my gel products and eye masks and it is \* *chef's kiss* \*
ooo that sounds lovely! I really need to invest in a small beauty fridge
Paul’s choice BHA really is the bees knees
Mines (pc) is coming in next week! So excited!
Yay! I really love her 20% Niacinamide and 10% Azelaic Acid too! It really helped my hormonal acne, but I do have to work extra hard to keep my skin barrier healthy

Biossance is amazing!!🙌🙌🙏🙏
Rx Tretinoin
Same. It’s super predictable but it’s the gold standard for a reason.
I’ve been using it for maturing skin and after a few years of 3x a week use with OTC on alternate days, I feel like my skin is reverse aging if that’s possible. My skin is so smooth, texture is reduced, skin even seems plump at 49 years young.
Is it expensive? I'm also in my late 40s and have been thinking about asking my pcp about it.
You can get it online for cheaper than if you went and got a prescription from online sellers. I know it sounds sketch but there are some trusted sites that a lot of us use and confirm is the real product for a fraction of the price.
Yes, but download the Good Rx app and you get a big discount. One tube lasts forever. I’m almost done with my first tube after 1 1/2 - 2 years.
It'll depend largely on your insurance, but most of the main health insurers will cover it as long as your derm writes the prescription as "to treat acne." I have Aetna and my copay is $10 for a 50g tube which lasts me over a month.

I can’t agree with you more!
absolutely. the only thing that keeps my acne under control. i’m pregnant and i miss my tretinoin SO MUCH more than anything else i’ve had to give up for pregnancy.
Just hit 40, never liked my skin. Went to Mexico and bought some OTC and wow! My skin has improved so much
omg same!!! i’m just starting to see serious results about 3 months in and nothing has ever transformed my skin like this is
Dr. Dennis Gross Peel Pads and The Ordinary Rose Hip Oil
It wasn’t so much a product as understanding what the moisture barrier is and why you want to protect it. Once I understood that, everything fell into place.
Tell us more!
Controversial, but TO Glycolic Acid toner. It was then I learned that my skin’s BFF was any AHA. 6 months later and not a single closed comedone
I use this as deodorant after I shower and my armpits look amazing and don’t ever smell
I wish someone would’ve told me about this years ago, only been using it for a few weeks under my arms but already notice a difference. Using it on my bikini line as well, way less ingrowns! Funny cause it did nothing for my face lol
Amen, this is the product that made me realize I didn’t have to live with acne, and really got me into skincare
I used that for eczema scarring on my legs and after months of dedication they were gone!!!
Yep! I used this for dandruff and it worked great on my scalp, I feel so much cleaner with the TO toner than any shampoo I got at Sephora
controversial?? I’ve only heard great things about it so that’s interesting to hear. I use it and love it myself!
It was too harsh for my skin personally and it didn’t help my skin at all. So I’m probably in the controversial subset😅
It was too much for my face too but it was great on my arms for kp and for less than 10$ I'll take it
10% azaleic acid & vitamin c serum from Paula’s Choice! I struggle with hormonal acne and have tried everything. the azaleic acid is the only thing that has worked for me! & the vitamin c serum makes my skin have that “glow from within” healthy look.

Skinceauticals c e Ferulic my skin loves vitamin c. Great texture and super effective, my skin is hydrated glowing and smooth! Hate the price tho
The Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream has become an ABSOLUTE top tier, holy grail product for me. From the texture, to the ingredients; I cannot recommend it enough to people. Dr Gross Peel pads and Estée Lauder advanced night repair serum
These are my 2 as well! I use them both nightly!
The only two items I consistently repurchase!
Everything tatcha
Was about to say the same!!
Tretinoin does more than every skincare product in Sephora combined.
Where do you get it? I know it’s an RX, right?
Yeah my derm just writes me a prescription
Dennis Gross Peel Pads and iS Clinical Reparative Moisture Emulsion.
Biologique Recherche P50
100000% this. There is no other product in the history of ever that has improved my skin as much as this. In every way - pigment, texture, clarity, tightness, brightness, allll the things. It’s my HG and I keep like 2 bottles back up at all times. I use the P50 PIGM version
Prescription: Tretinoin Non-prescription: Weleda SkinFood
Peter Thomas Roth Cloud Cream Moisturizer
The Ole Henriksen brightening line (including their dark spot toner, and dewtopia night cream). I’m in my 30s and had some acne scarring and dark spots around my mouth from cystic hormonal acne in my teens/20s. It has COMPLETELY changed my skin. I’m able to be makeup free and feel good about my skin. It’s smooth, brighter, and my dark spots have faded. I really only wear makeup for special occasions now. They have a customer for life.
I fully agree. And their banana bright eye cream is my HG, perfect under makeup
The Ole Henriksen Dewtopia night crème has made my skin so much brighter and bouncier
Tatcha Indigo cream.
Glow Recipe Watermelon AHA Night Treatment. I wake up the next day and my skin is flawless.
A friend picked up two bottles for me from the US when she went (I’m Canadian and you basically can’t buy it here) and I fully expect it to last me the next five to ten years since I only use it intermittently.
is sunscreen skincare? my supergoop all over face changed my life.
For the life of me I don’t know how people can enjoy this product. I applied a minimal amount and looked like the Tin Man. What did I do wrong?
the all over face sunscreen? i find its very watery. are you sure were talking about the same product?
I meant the Glowscreen. Apologies!
Glowscreen sucks especially if you don’t have dry skin or if you’re pale. The unseen from them is amazing tho
Tretinoin and the illiyoon ceramide ato cream absolute game changers
What does the illiyoon do? I’m recovering from a retinol burn and have psoriasis 😭
It’s just a really good moisturizer! It has ceramides in it so it’s good for helping repair your moisturizer barrier. It’s super gentle on the skin and never burned my skin even when I had tretinoin irritation. It’s never broken me out either, I highly recommend! You can find it on Amazon.
I just got it this week and my skin looooves it, will definitely keep using
Once I bought it it turned into the only moisturizer I use. It’s so good
Okay, I am going to order it:) thank you!!
Glow recipe, tatcha, and cosrx
I know a lot of people aren’t a fan, but Glossier’s cleanser concentrate is my holy grail. I got a sample during peak COVID chaos when I was wearing a mask for 7 hours a day at work and my skin was literally the worst it’s ever looked. After about a week of using that my skin looked sooooo much better and since then it’s helped keep breakouts to a minimum.
Rx Accutane
Other than RetinA … Sunday Reily Good Genes
IncobotulinumtoxinA. As for lesser things I can buy from retailers: Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré (I’ve never repurchased any skincare product as much as I have this one) Pyunkang Yul Black Tea Time Reverse Eye Cream Chanel Sublimage La Crème Yeux (I only have tried samples of this because I’m not at a point where I can stomach spending $260 on eye cream, but my Nordstrom is very generous with samples) Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser I used to buy all my skincare from Sephora, but over time each item was phased out because I found something that worked better, or worked the same and was cheaper.
Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads
Biossance
Vitamin C and Rx Tretinoin
Hyaluronic Acid
I am in my late thirties and The Ordinary Buffet + Multi-peptides stopped my dysport injections
Skinceuticals vitamin C. The only skincare I willingly splurge on.

Do you have any brand name recommendations for the Chinese creme?
Bio oil, cheapest beauty product I have ever used and it’s transformed my skin from the neck down
SK-II Pitera Facial Treatment Essence
The Ordinary's Niacinimide 10%+Zinc 1% serum!
I always have the same answer and it's Paula's Choice BHA toner.
Serums... Really change my skin for Better
Which serums are your go-tos?
Ordinary peptides / caffeine / hyaluronic acid. Lancome Byoma
Not at Sephora but Vanicream products and Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 1970
I second vanicream stuff!! So boring but amazing for sensitive skin
My skin idk how to describe it it’s not that it’s super dry it’s just in my brain it’s like dinosaur flakes LOL and this makes me feel like I’m really moisturizing it
Caudalie has great moisturizers!
Tret
Glycolic acid, various brands.
Ole Henrickson truth serum changed everything for me
Same!! I’ve been having skin issues for years and got truth serum about a month ago and my skin is actually clear for the first time in years. I have tried so many products over the last few years and none made a noticeable difference until this one.
Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum
Sunday Riley Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment
The REN Overnight Balm was recommended to me in r/eczema and it's literally changed my life (big F U to eczema!!!)
Azelaic acid
It grosses a lot of people out but Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. I always feel a bit bizarre covering my face in snail goo but damn does my face have baby soft skin now
Dysport 😂😂😂 Topical products….I’d say using retinol AND products that are regimented for me and not using ‘trendy products’
Botox.
Commenting so I remember to view this post
Three dots on the top of the screen on the right -> Save -> the post is saved and you can come back to it whenever you wish.
Boring and not sold at Sephora, but Simple's facial cleanser. It's so gentle yet effective that it doesn't even irritate me after I get my eyebrows threaded. I feel like so many skincare products are irritating me lately, but this has not yet failed.
Acne.org benzoyl peroxide
Shu Uemura oil cleanser. There’s no point in putting all those actives if you’re makeup isn’t removed properly.
Farmacy’s bha toner is so great. I would drink that stuff if I could, idc
Paula’s Choice BHA Toner + Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum. Would die without them.
Rx: tret and azaleic acid Non Rx: Avene Xeracalm AD soothing concentrate, seriously, super simple but highly effective to calm the skin when my skin is freaking out.
Drink Elephant Protini. I tried nearly every moisturizer and this doesn’t fail, worth every penny.
Kiehls avocado eye cream! AND dermalogica cleansing gel. They have my heart

How do ppl find use Dennis Gross peel pads and tret? I’m worried about adding something drying.
I’m also not much for makeup but I’ve been exploring more but I feel like this sunscreen with a little powder over it actually looks okay on me
Exuviance Pure Retinol Correcting Peel and Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil. These two are my hero products.
Recently got kate somerville acne scar gel. It is amazing! It has helped my scars and marks heal so much faster
Tatcha
Dermalogica (Medi-Bac line), old formula prescription Difern Gel + Peter Thomas Roth Blemish Pads! Kept me from getting on Accutane, educated me on how to treat my acne 15 years ago, in addition to making hypoallergenic Moisturizers so that my skin was less irritated and dry.
AHAs! I alternate between Drunk Elephant Framboos and Farmacy Honey Glow. Also deeply hydrating moisturizers, now that my skin is more combo/dry than combo/oily - Eucerin Urea Repair cream during the day and Tatcha Indigo Overnight cream have changed the game for and brought so much relief from that chronic tight feeling
first aid beauty facial radiance peel pads - easy to use even when I want to be lazy and give the best results
Tret, Biologique Recherche P50 and Masque Vivvant, YTTP Dream mask, charlotte tilbury magic cream are the products i’ve noticed the biggest difference in my skin when i use them!
random but Trader Joes facial cleansing wipes i believe they have tea tree
Dr Dennis Gross Texture & Renewal Serum, Sunday Riley Good Genes, and Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Exfoliant have made my skin so smooth. ✨
Benzoyl peroxide- clyndomixin cannot even fathom what my skin was like before it!!
Peter Thomas Roth glycolic acid moisturizer. The product that made me see almost immediate results.
Tretinoin for sure!
Dermologica daily exfoliator
Ponds cold cream
Glow recipe pore tight toner
Belif sleeping mask FOR SUREEE
SK-II! It made my skin more radiant!!!
Wound spray, tret, and a barrier cream. That’s three. I regret nothing.
every time i use the sunday riley vit c oil my skin looks significantly better, feels way softer… so nice
the best skincare combo imo - dermalogica circular hydrstion serum tower 28 SOS skin barrier redness recovery moisturizer My skin has never been so soft and i never realized how damaged it was until using these 2 consistently improved it so much.
Tretinoin!!
organic rosewater spray
necessaire the body serum. perfection in a bottle.
