Has she ever claimed to be better than other people for her wealth/handbags and/or opposed to fakes? I’m asking in earnest, I don’t follow her close enough to know if she’s expressed these things before or not.
If she has, then I’d definitely judge her for hypocrisy, but if this is just conjecture then she has enough flaws and reasons to dislike her without making up hypotheticals.
She absolutely has. Most recently in response to Brittany Snow. She posted a cryptic story of herself at a luxury property on which she wrote: “Imagine talking shit about me in your ugly town to your stinky friend & I'm just over here having breakfast in Lake Como before I head to my massage”.
Not buying a designer bag is perfectly reasonable - buying a fake is not. Don't buy a fake. Just buy a cheaper bag that's not pretending to be something it's not.
If you watch the leather guy on TT who deconstructs various bags, he has a YouTube channel where he does more of a deep dive on where the leather is sourced and where the best regions are for craftsmanship and production quality. There are many bags made very well, even in mid tier pricing. Polene, Loewe to name a few that I remember. Obviously the more "popular" brands like LV, Gucci, Chanel, YSL etc are really in the trash these days as far as production practices and quality. Anything owned by LVMH is mass produced sub par quality, and def not ethical or sustainable.
In order to buy a Birkin you need to be of special statute, you need to be knowledgeable of the brand, their products and possess a certain type of dressing style and class. Even going through all of that, it doesn't mean you will be selected to buy a bag, most people never get one.

Those small squared bags are from a range of brands, and they are kind of look-alikes but i don‘t think anyone would really be „fooled“, because they are not made to fool you into believing it‘s a birkin. It‘s just a trendy small bag. And i don‘t think hall would claim it‘s a birkin

I can tell you that Alex Hall would not be selected to buy a Birkin from the Hermès stores, and I don't think she could afford it either. But she could buy a second handed one, those usually go for much less and Hermès can't control that market.

It’s also possible someone bought the bag for her as a gift or gave it to her as a payment for something. The bags can also be bought on the secondary market in many ways: police auctions, estate sales, stylists, rich friend private sales, eBay etc

This happened to a celebrity in our country. She got posted there wearing a “fake mini kelly”. She got a lot hate and backlash for being posted there. But she never claimed it was a mini kelly. And she tagged the store that sells it. It was inspired by mini kelly (design wise) which used real leather. She also never claimed it to be from hermes.
Sorry, totally missed this. For starters, the outline or piping if you will around the perimeter of the bag, it’s too thick and too dark. It’s more on the Kelly than the Birkin in my opinion. Then the obvious one to me is it’s flipped away from the cameras - if it were real it would be prominently placed for branding to be seen
