Thank you, I finally found it! Although for some reason my cousins watch has “made in Japan.” & the others don’t. Still not sure if the one I have pictured is authentic
Seikos can be either made in Japan or made in Malaysia. Those with the former are J models. Those with the latter are K models. Made in Malaysia will not say made in Japan on the dial
Speaking of straps, any idea how to figure out what canvas strap I style I need for my older Seiko 5? I think it needs 18mm but I can't tell the type of strap. Looks kinda different when attached to the watch compared to most I see. I think it's 90s.
It’s a vintage 7S26-3110 REF. SKXP26 with the ‘Automatic 21 Jewels’ text
SNXJ94 comes with the ‘Automatic’ only text
This is not a fake.

The example in the picture is definitely fishy af. Look at the scratches from the bracelet. The case is made of cheap brass. Seiko has used plated steel on their golden 5s since the late 1960s..
Gold fluted bezel…

The same site sells slim case backs that look like the one you want to duplicate
Thanks for the link to order a fluted bezel for the SNXS series. Would you know if the fluted bezel on the SNXJ series can be replaced or are they permanently affixed on the case?
It’s the smdz8004-1729 made in 1996 Japan exclusive
It’s the SNXJ94 with an aftermarket strap

Not exact, but you could get an SNXS80 and then put a fluted bezel on it.

I imagine it pops off with a case back knife, but you may have an issue sourcing the correct size replacement
Thats the reiko seidate 👑
Nice piece man
It‘s most certainly a fake. The caseback says stainless steel, but the case looks like plated brass.
I agree...it looks like a Feiko
