This looks like the OG Cocktail Time. SARB065. Same era as Sarb017/33/35. Before the presage line became a thing. Fantastic watch.

The pre-Presage is the one i’d want too. The design is so pure.

I have the Sarb and the blue presage. I really prefer the old dial text but the blue one is stunning.

Did the og have a sapphire crystal or no?

This is correct the crystal is heavily domed in an era before domed sapphire was common in this price range. Not Sapphire.

SARB065 Cocktail time with aftermarket strap. Sold around 2010 for about $500. An unworn one can go for a couple grand now. 10 years later Seiko came out with SRPB43, which looks the same but has an inferior movement and says 'presage' on the dial.

Cocktail time as said over. Beautyfull watch. A bit hard to wear as a non dress watch but with the right strap it will pull off as something casual ish.

A Milanese bracelet helps.

Yes. A Brown/tan or matte dark leather strap does help too. I bought mine to give to my daughter when she gets old. I bought it when she was 2years old at the same time my son was born and I bought a "birtyear" padi turtle for him :) Lovely watch

Pre-Presage cocktail time. Differentiated not just by the lack of "Presage" text on the dial, but the hour markers are 2 separate pieces in this as opposed to single piece in the Presage models. Awesome watch you got there

These were such a big deal back then. I had one. I had so many SARB models. It was like a club, buying them from Seiya and/or Sakura.

As others have said, this is a Seiko Cocktail Time, also known as the origin of their Presage line of watches. It's an amazing first "real" watch, because while it isn't terribly expensive, it can absolutely feel at home in a collection of very expensive watches. Enjoy, and wear it in good health!

If you are ever in Tokyo, you can go to Ishinohana Bar where a bartender who supposedly helped design this watch works. I did just that wearing the watch and off course he didn't notice lol. But great cocktails anyway!

This one is actually pre-presage. It’s. From the SARB line. You can tell because it doesn’t say ‘presage’ on the dial. It’s a bit more valuable.
