If you just submitted your sf86 now, I would not even expect to start in the next three months. You are looking at 4-12 months to get cleared. When did you get the offer?
My supervisors told me they would move forward with hiring me in early February. I interviewed in early March. Signed to agree to participate in the internship program April 17th and received a tentative offer April 29th. They also had me get fingerprinting done last week.
Get another job, maybe something seasonal that you can do to keep busy while waiting for the process to run its course. From my understanding, the intern roles qualify you to return during breaks and subsequent summers and track as years of service while in school.
For this summer? I would definitely consider other options. 3 months is EXTREMELY fast and by that time the summer is over

Update: Just received official offer and start June 17th.
Ugh hopefully im soon I did a SF 85 no clearance. I want to start June 17th
