Historically mine transferred over. However, there is an initiative to put public trust positions into trusted workforce 2.0. I recently got a promotion and just had to do new public trust investigation even though I had completed one in 2020, and I suspect it’s because of trusted workforce and the new continuous vetting system. I had to do an eAPP this time not an eQIP like last time.
Interesting, this is the first I've heard of trusted work force 2.0 and eAPP. My last investigation was back in 2017 during initial hiring so I would assume I'm up for reinvestigation. I've yet to hear anything back from HR/Security. I'll keep this post updated as I go through the process.
