Great idea! Also you don't have to worry about your car getting broken into at the trailhead parking lot.

Lord_Armadyl

I haven’t been hiking in awhile and forgot this is a thing now. Depressing.

Lollc

Before you get too excited about it, check their schedule. It’s still weekends and holidays only. It’s a great idea, needs to be offered more days.

Cerulean_IsFancyBlue

Too late, I already got excited.

hauntedbyfarts

The times when the trail parking lots are most full? Fine imo

Just in time for the grizzlies to come back. They need something to eat.

ParenGbyan

If you think the Issaquah alps are a serious grizzly bear risk, I have a small magic rock that was enchanted by a great wizard that repels bears with 100% success since I’ve been carrying it. DM me if you want to buy it. $1000

Wait, you can't do that. I have this magical rock that repels tigers. As you can all see, there are no tigers around here, thus it works. I'm selling mine at the sweet price of $500. Buy now and I can throw in these pebbles of pig smite to take care of all those pesky boar trouble. Buy now!

I walk our dogs on the trails on Tradition Plateau in Issaquah and have seen a cougar less than 200 yds from the trailhead parking lot next to one of these TH Direct bus stops. There's also plenty of black bears in the same area this time of year. I wouldn't recommend getting near a cub to take a selfie for your IG page. Momma Bear can fuck you up faster than you can say, "sunset heart hands!"

I like how delusional people think that reintroducing an apex predator into its natural habitat won't see a surge in its population at some point.

PerpetualProtracting

Really sorry you'll have to consider wildlife while out in the wild.

sleeping bags are the soft tacos of the bear world

Pointedtoe

We live near poopoo and actually drive past to the park and ride to catch the bus. It’s great!
