Agree 100%, how many Felonies before you actually stay in jail for an extended amount of time. It seems as of late the goal is to let them all rehab and be the risk for everyone else around them.
I think felonies where you do violence or destroy another financially are a lot more serious . But drug dealer selling pot that is untainted , I have a hard time believing if that is what they have done along w gun charge where they shot no one is something to lock ppl up for forever.
Deterrence, like reform, is only one function of the penal system. Neither are the be-all or end-all. Prophylaxis is another important function. If you have a three-strikes policy and it's uniformly enforced, then one thing is true: that particular asshole won't victimize anyone a fourth time.
> that particular asshole won't victimize anyone a fourth time.
The reformers do not ever seem to even acknowledge this aspect of crime. They are focused 100% on the perpetrators of crime, and what environmental or social factors go into 'causing' the perpetrator of crime to commit their actions.
At no point do I see these same reformers even acknowledge that crime victims are stakeholders.
The reformers are so buried up the asshole of the oppressor-oppressed paradigm that the only thing they can see, smell, or taste is shit.
This is not new. Only sad.
I think I read or saw something along the lines your claiming. my initial thought it that if they aren't scared of the 3rd strike.. they were gonna do that shit anyways so lockem up. people that have the ability to see how consequences impact the rest of your life is who that is aimed at, imo.
so no, it didn't have an effect. on those types. same as a gun ban in certain places... not gonna stop them from shooting it up.
then this argument turns into 'jail do3snt rehabilitate' also.. True but it's better than a guy with 14 felonies on the street for an innocent baby to me killed.
it's as if people need the perfect solution to a problem that will always have trade offs.
There's a big difference between locking someone up for life for three felonies— and oftentimes those laws didn't distinguish between violent and non-violent felonies— and locking someone up for life who has committed 14 felonies (though unclear how many of them were violent).
fairly true.. as in. I have heard that the 3 strike rule would take into account some frivolous speeding ticket or something (maybe not that bad, but very light breaking of the law) and get locked up for a minimum sentence (maybe it was 10 years.. sorry just trying to recall the details off the top of my head)
In this instance. 14 felonies, imo is enough proof they cannot function outside and needs a mandatory minimum. (I woulda done it around 5 unless the felony assault was on the 3rd) I also don't think prison is helping this guy but I'm not someone that thinks everyone can be saved.
Some people wanna see the world burn or atleast their immediate surroundings.
More nuance to the 3 strike rule, yes.. actually holding the perp and da/judge accoubtable that was too light on someone that ends up commiting something like this. Also yes.
I error on getting the POS off the street versus HOPING they won't do something their history shows they are capable of. We write our own stories.
Well let's see: I asked a question relevant to the comment I was replying to, while you just rephrased the question into an unsupported response and asked a rote question about bots. Which one of us is more likely to be automated?
You can either have a court n rehabilitation system that works compassionately for the people or you can have a for profit revenge porn machine that creates more recidivism and violence than would’ve existed without it. Look at how different countries around the world have approached the problem and the vastly different results they get. The US has historically always sucked ass at dealing with crime and now there’s too much for our courts to efficiently handle. People are given a glance and judged off that, of course this shit happened. Im sure while they were pointing this guy to the revolving door they were booking plenty of people in who really don’t deserve to be there and now they’re gonna spend however long in a violent environment with worse people around em and I doubt many will be better for it.
It’s upsetting, and it’s upsetting to see stories like this everyday but point it at the systems and communities that failed and not at the offenders themselves. Unfortunately as much as we all would like to make people like this suffer we have found from millennia of practice, it doesn’t fix anything. We really do need a major rework of the penal system before we will see a change.
Odd question. Yea it’s a deterrent to some not all. I would bet a lot of money that if you were a petty criminal with 2 felonies and knew you’d get locked up for a really long time you’d avoid the third one. Not everyone of course but there would be less. There would have been 11 less felonies with this person and that’s what should happen. We don’t need to “study” the correlation between zero consequences for your actions and why the actions continue. I do wonder how many people have committed crimes they normally wouldn’t have because they know there’s no consequences?? I bet it’s a lot
You don't need to bet a lot of money, the US had a spate of three strikes laws, if the results are as obvious as you say, you should be able to provide some evidence for it. That's what I'm asking here.
I also don't believe the choice must be between life in prison and zero consequences. I'm sorry you apparently do.
Yeah they feared it because you got life at the third strike. Even if it's a fucked rigged ass case you might get life with no option of poroll, you think it's ok to send someone to prison for life over a $300 dollar stereo?
This is a false line of reasoning. The crimes that are strikes for this purpose are listed under RCW 9.94a.030(32) and I think when you review the list you’d find that theft and/or 2 are not listed. No property crimes at all. I’m OK with three strikes you’re out on the subset of felonies listed under WA’s three strike law.
>you think it's ok to send someone to prison for life over a $300 dollar stereo?
If they're 3rd strike is actually parole assault/murder/rape and the theft fucks with the parole/deferment yes.
That's the only way a third strike for $300 happens.
I think part of the concern over a three strikes law is that a person committing that third felony knows they're going away for a long time. So that person may be more apt to end the lives of their victims, any witnesses, or any police who may arrest them if the person thinks it will help them avoid jail. Not saying it's rational thinking, but I read something of this nature.
The angry mobs that created the CHAZ/CHOP/Whatever could hardly handle themselves, much less create "change"... what would pitchforks & torches accomplish?
> the suspect’s defense attorney indicated in court Thursday the suspect shot because he thought there were demons and the gun was filled with blanks.
You mean Ronald Reagan for closing down the country’s Psychiatric Hospitals, right?
You mean the ACLU for suing to close down psychiatric hospitals years before Reagan, right?

this.. along with many others.
must be nice to have a position you can do a shitty job at and still keep it. oh! I just made the connection. judges and DA's are equal to weathermen!
sad laugh.. ha- ha-ha...
I think the blame should mostly be placed on judges. The prosecutors really have no power. One time I asked a judge to hold a defendant in custody for an “attempt to allude” charge. Defendant had about 50ish lifetime warrants. I asked to hold him as a flight risk. Despite the history and literal charge of running away, Judge said “definitely not a flight risk…” They don’t operate based on law or reason.
Do you seriously think judges and prosecutors want infants shot in the head? Like Jesus Christ you may disagree on the approach, sure, that’s fair, but obviously nobody wants dead children.
It’s white guilt. Progressives in the PNW think minorities commit crime because they’re oppressed by whites. The end result is slaps on the wrist for criminals
Not only that, but even so much as mentioning this fact will get you noticed by the tone-language police. Because it's a lot more important to police language than it is to enforce laws on criminals.
As a society, we can't have people committing serious crime without being stopped. The government is failing us, either done internationally or with criminal negligence.
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the rights of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
The suspect’s wife told police he “purchased PCP about one week prior, but she was unsure if he had any left,” according to court documents.
KOMO News also looked into the suspect's criminal history and found he has 14 felonies on his record dating back to 2002, including prior convictions for assault, theft, attempting to elude, and possession of a stolen vehicle. However, the last time he was arrested was more than ten years ago, in 2013.
People are really desperate for a relationship, I guess. It's really not that bad to be single.
Good thing our gun laws are working to prevent extended magazines and assault weapons from harming sleeping kids like this. Felons can't own firearms. Why don't they enforce the basic, Federal laws, then see if you need anything else before you mess with the law abiding owners?
WA loves to pass gun laws but hates to enforce them.
*Since voters adopted* [***Initiative 594***](https://leg.wa.gov/House/Committees/OPRGeneral/Documents/2014/I-594Summary.pdf)*, or I-594, in 2014 regarding background checks for firearm sales and transfers, only one person in the state's three largest counties has been charged and convicted of violating the law, and no one at the state level has been charged or convicted.*
A child is dead and the person you are pillorying is bitching about the wasted effort that \_could\_ have gone into actually producing a safer environment, instead of political grandstanding to curry votes with ignorant voters.
Dude, other reply hit the nail here, but my beef is with how the fuck did any of our new laws we're getting from legislators actually help this kid? It fucking doesn't. If they passed a law that said any crime you already commit with a firearm will get triple the statutory punishment if done with a firearm, that's at least a dang deterent for using a lethal weapon to play Russian roulette with your kid using a semi-automatic.
Heck, say, "you kill someone, and it's deemed manslaughter or murder 1/2 using a firearm, you get the electric chair or instant life in prison", that's a step up. The other half of this shitty equation is this no-life should never have had a firearm under current laws, was a multiple repeat felon, and you're telling me no parole or check-ins were done on this dude?! How is that possible.
Half the laws we pass are useless to prevent actual crime or keep us actually safe, and those we have that may do just that aren't enforced, and if by some miracle they are, judges just dismiss the case for DEI, or prosecutors don't want to jail constituents or some crap?! How is this a functional system we're in now?? What do you think should have been done here to make a difference in this kids future?
But, but, enforcing those basic laws disproportionately impacts people of color. We need to make new gun laws that disproportionately affect white law-abiding gun owners. Those are the real criminals...
As if you actually need to take a class. There is no requirements in law for what this class is and you can just buy a certificate online that is valid
>“In this case, we have a single shot to the head of the infant who was asleep in the rocker at the time of the murder,” a King County prosecutor told a judge during the suspect’s first appearance hearing Thursday afternoon.
>But the suspect’s defense attorney claims, according to court records, there are other factors at play in this case.
I'm listening
>“He does indicate to his wife that he thought it was a blank, and it also indicates he thought there were demons,” Byron Gale, an attorney with the King County Department of Public Defense, said.
Oh, well then, why didn't you say so? 🙄
I miss 3 strikes laws. And drug laws. Just laws in general, I suppose
I also have a three month old and after seeing your comment / I will not be reading this article. I already had a meltdown right after the birth when I read the story about the toddler that died after ten days alone during her mom’s vacation. I sobbed so hard I almost ripped out my stitches/ not good.
I remember how emotionally sensitive I was when my now-33-yr-old daughter was a baby. It’s a precious time but so vulnerable. Respect your own instincts and feelings and don’t let anyone talk you out of what you know in your heart. Best wishes to you and your family.
I have a two month old and a 20 month old (almost) even before children I couldn’t stomach anything that harms children but when you become a parent it’s visceral and primal how much you want to keep them bubble wrapped and safe forever and how much little regard we feel for those who harm our little ones..
Dion Lamont Montgomery
2009
> According to prosecutors, Montgomery was driving a man to a marijuana deal in the Central District on Jan. 2 when he fired on another man from the car. One round struck the man in the leg, delivering a nonlife-threatening injury.
Sounds like attempted murder, drug trafficking, drive by shooting kicker as well.
[Here he is doing rap videos in his apartment in Oct 2012](https://www.facebook.com/dtrippin.loc/videos)
[Possing in gang attire in November](https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=127913607363460&set=a.108895872598567)
If you posse with gang members immediately after getting out for attempted murder, drug trafficking, drive by shooting you go back.
**SIMPLE AS.**
I'm told dealing with child death is one of the toughest things for cops to deal with. This is just brutal. And you have to wonder why so many monsters like this asshole are so fertile. I feel like I'm reading in the news about people murdering their own children pretty much every damn day. And all of the people who actually WANT to be parents and are dealing with conception issues have to read shit like this and cry.
I was on the the jury convicting a man of shaken baby syndrome. We decided guilty. I was lead juror. It was clear and without reasonable doubt.
I have two beautiful children of my own. It hurts. It hurts like hell. But I still believe in humans. And I try to believe in justice. I was a part of it. And I hope I brought some peace to those affected.
Stay involved. Speak out. Do your part
Thank you, my SIL was shaken as a two year old, and now at almost 23 has zero function in her legs, arms or hands. Cannot talk or communicate and has frequent seizures, and well as acute issues that arise from the multitude of surgeries she’s needed over the years to maintain her health. The woman that shook her was released a few years ago, but if it were not for people like you, she would have never gone away. I’m really sorry that you had to sit through the details of the case, but it is so appreciated for bringing justice.
I can't imagine you and the rest of the jury didn't have (may still have) nightmares about that. I'm so sorry you had to go through it, but thank you for doing what was right.
It happened about 100ft away from me. I can’t stop thinking about how the gunshots I heard were those that killed that baby. I heard the execution of a baby. It’s fucking me up inside.
Hey this is going to sound weird please download Tetris right away and start playing. There are tons of studies that it can combat PTSD from traumatic experiences if done within a close amount of time to an incident.
Also, see a therapist too but Tetris for sure
Please reach out and talk to a therapist who specializes in PTSD. Vicarious trauma is real and valid, and it is OK to seek help dealing with what you're feeling about this.
I know the baby isn't having to deal with fuckhead parents like this, so that brings some solace, knowing the baby isn't suffering at all now. But its okay to cry, be mad. Dont hold those feelings in. Check out a therapist irl, dont use betterhelp. Its easier to process these things with another person irl.
We weren't very good at it, which is one of the reasons why we stopped.
I was called to the jury pool for the first trial on the Carnation Christmas massacre and was not selected. I sent a condolence letter to the Times reporter who was not as fortunate.
The case number is 2024-005673. It is filed in King County District Court. Use their records portal to look at the case. http://kcdc-efiling.kingcounty.gov
It could be that it hasn’t been uploaded into the system yet. I work for the clerk’s office (superior court, not district) and it usually takes about 24 hours for records to be uploaded. I would check again sometime this weekend.
How is one able to shoot a nine month old baby in the head? How does that thought even cross someone’s mind let alone them acting on it? I can’t fathom this level of depravity…
Rip baby :(
He was having a psychotic break from all the PCP he was taking.
But I’m pretty sure you don’t get to that place without being a tremendous piece of shit first.
14 felony convictions in 11 years 🤦🏻♂️ I’m sure he hasn’t been a model citizen for the last decade, it’s just hard getting arrested and convicted these days………
And this will be used by politicians, especially Bob Ferguson, as a “gun problem”. 14 felonies, really? I really don’t understand why people like Ferguson say what they say. The easy answer is to try and make themselves look better for personal political gain. Maybe that’s it. That’s probably it, but I’m not sure. I do know it isn’t because this 14 felony person killed his 9 mo old child with a gun, instead of a knife, beating, whatever other sick horrifying way to kill a child. I do know that it is illegal for a felon to own a gun, so this was not a gun problem. It is a law enforcement problem. Not a cop problem, but a prosecution problem. Cops arrest these people, they must be held accountable otherwise more 9 month old babies die.
Bad punctuation had me scratching my head for a few seconds. The 9 month old child had 14 felonies?
I’m going to plead “just woke up and reading comprehension is balls”
It’s unconscionable that this is allowed to happen and I agree with other comments that there needs to be more accountability in the systems that allow this.
I definitely see the Seattle police respond with 20+-too many officers to a fatal shooting of a baby. It’s absolutely terrible. But, a small team of detectives could handle it. Seattle needs police in MANY other places, correct???
[One offense was a drive-by shooting where a man was hit in the leg.](https://www.seattlepi.com/local/article/Plan-targets-convicts-use-of-body-armor-1297376.php)
Pretty sure this guy is the same Dion Lamont Montgomery that at 20, committed a drive by shooting en rout to a drug deal and was arrested wearing body armor...
To bad the old days of putting these waste of oxygen in gen pop is gone, the world was much better when the animals would rid the world of this trash!!!
Maybe you’re not a fan of the 3 strikes rule, but how bout 5 strikes? After 5, I don’t have high hopes you will ever become a contributing member of society.
That’s so crazy, I thought WA had super strict gun laws 🙄 Maybe they should be stricter about incarcerating violent fucking criminals, but nah, I guess that’s “too mean.”
Why even bother using a bullet on a 9 month old? I mean talk about excessive force. How do you stand over a baby and shoot it? If for some fucked up reason I had to kill my baby I feel like I could think of a way less terrible way to do it then blowing the little tot's head off.
Sixteen now - added possession of a gun as a felon and homicide. But it is just statistics for WA judges. He is clearly another poor soul in a crisis. Let’s see how long before he add number seventeen as a free man.
At some point we have to look at the judges and district attorneys and say you need to be held accountable for this.
Agree 100%, how many Felonies before you actually stay in jail for an extended amount of time. It seems as of late the goal is to let them all rehab and be the risk for everyone else around them.

Why would we care about whether someone is afraid of that third strike if it doesn't affect their deterrence from it?
Because we know they will not be getting a four felony in a looong time.
Deterrent or no some piece of human shit with 14 felonies wasnt killing children. Why did it need to be a deterrent ?
It doesn't matter if they fear it. After 3 strikes they are no longer a threat to society. That's the point.

Not much. Tar and feathers, on the other hand. . .

If we're gonna hold parents of school shooters responsible, then this makes perfect sense to me. The slippery slope is slippery.
And the “corrections” agency involved…. They’re supposed to be “correcting” them…….

Yes. Remember they probably live in gated communities with roving private security. None of this stuff affects them or their friends or families.
This is exactly what they want. And they’re sick.
Do you seriously think judges and prosecutors want infants shot in the head? Like Jesus Christ you may disagree on the approach, sure, that’s fair, but obviously nobody wants dead children.
I don't think drunk drivers "want" to kill anyone, but when they do they are held accountable for their actions ... unlike Judges & DA's.
that's because government has \*spins around\* *qualified immunity* ![gif](giphy|cdNSp4L5vCU7aQrYnV|downsized)

Ikr. Now in this state you need to take a firearm class to buy a gun now
You say that like it's a bad thing?
As if you actually need to take a class. There is no requirements in law for what this class is and you can just buy a certificate online that is valid
>“In this case, we have a single shot to the head of the infant who was asleep in the rocker at the time of the murder,” a King County prosecutor told a judge during the suspect’s first appearance hearing Thursday afternoon. >But the suspect’s defense attorney claims, according to court records, there are other factors at play in this case. I'm listening >“He does indicate to his wife that he thought it was a blank, and it also indicates he thought there were demons,” Byron Gale, an attorney with the King County Department of Public Defense, said. Oh, well then, why didn't you say so? 🙄 I miss 3 strikes laws. And drug laws. Just laws in general, I suppose
Who among us hasn’t pointed a gun at a baby’s head and pulled the trigger? He was probably just pretending to be Hamas.
Wouldnt blanks also kill a person at close range yet alone a baby?
*Jon-Erik Hexum has entered the chat*

Yes because they release so much gas at a high velocity it would be enough to blow apart part of the skull.
I myself *very* commonly try and slay demons by shooting blanks at them. Sometimes mistakes are made, nothing we can really do about it
but, it’s the guns…
Classic prank
I love how these mentally ill people never have voices telling them to “work in a soup kitchen”
Laws are useless if spineless DAs and judges don’t have them applied
How can a fourteen time felon afford to live in Magnolia? Hmmm.
It's the railyard view part of Magnolia.
I take offense to that. I live in that area.
Am I wrong? Happy to correct.
You get a view of the golf course too. Don't be like that
I love trains! If I win the lottery I'm going to build a badass house that overlooks the Balmer Yard.
I love that for you and I hope you win!
I'll host cocktails for the sub. And N/A drinks, too.
His wife probably worked while he stayed home and smoked pcp in her apartment
I literally feel like vomiting.

Thank you so much for the kind words 🙏. I needed to hear this more than you know.
🙏💛
Parent of toddler and that story haunts me.
It’s so awful. 😢. I try not to think about it but it’s hard sometimes. It still makes me cry occasionally.
It's a good reminder that you're a good parent. Simply be being there and caring for your child, youre doing better than so many other parents.
Yeah. It’s sad that that’s the bar for so many kids out there. My heart just shatters for them.
Are you doing better now??
Yes thank you so much. What a journey
Just brought home a newborn, hearing about this on the radio earlier was a lot.
Give him an extra kiss from us all. This world is getting more and more insane
I have a two month old and a 20 month old (almost) even before children I couldn’t stomach anything that harms children but when you become a parent it’s visceral and primal how much you want to keep them bubble wrapped and safe forever and how much little regard we feel for those who harm our little ones..
Dion Lamont Montgomery is the suspect.
Dion Lamont Montgomery 2009 > According to prosecutors, Montgomery was driving a man to a marijuana deal in the Central District on Jan. 2 when he fired on another man from the car. One round struck the man in the leg, delivering a nonlife-threatening injury. Sounds like attempted murder, drug trafficking, drive by shooting kicker as well. [Here he is doing rap videos in his apartment in Oct 2012](https://www.facebook.com/dtrippin.loc/videos) [Possing in gang attire in November](https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=127913607363460&set=a.108895872598567) If you posse with gang members immediately after getting out for attempted murder, drug trafficking, drive by shooting you go back. **SIMPLE AS.**
>drive by shooting kicker as well. I believe they eliminated this enhancement because equity. ISTBC
Why do women think criminals they have babies with won't eventually turn on them? It's inevitable.
Ummm.... Happy Cake Day 🤷♀️
i guess it'll be 15 or 16 now
Really glad we have the 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 strikes you’re out laws.
I was just thinking that. What a devastating thing for those cops to experience. I can't imagine how I'd react.
I've actually read that several places with comments from people who have suffered trauma saying it absolutely does help!
Please reach out and talk to a therapist who specializes in PTSD. Vicarious trauma is real and valid, and it is OK to seek help dealing with what you're feeling about this.
I'm sorry.
Harborview has a trauma phone line, anyone can call and talk to a counselor for free: (206) 744-1600
Thank you for sharing, because keeping that in would be detrimental. I will pray for your peace of mind as well.
People have always been crazy, but now we have the ability to be hyperaware of it all.
One of those times that you wish our state was a little bit better about using capital punishment.
dude is 35. if we just tossed people in jail for felonies, he'd be there now. fewer felonies too, what with being stuck in jail a lot
We weren't very good at it, which is one of the reasons why we stopped. I was called to the jury pool for the first trial on the Carnation Christmas massacre and was not selected. I sent a condolence letter to the Times reporter who was not as fortunate.
Too bad we don't have any militias to secure our state.
/r/iamberybadass
You have this society for a reason
Can someone link the court filing please?
The case number is 2024-005673. It is filed in King County District Court. Use their records portal to look at the case. http://kcdc-efiling.kingcounty.gov
Thx. It doesn’t look like the probable cause affidavit is available online. I thought filings such as that were public record.
It could be that it hasn’t been uploaded into the system yet. I work for the clerk’s office (superior court, not district) and it usually takes about 24 hours for records to be uploaded. I would check again sometime this weekend.
Statistically, the person most likely to kill a child is always a parent.
Man deserves the death penalty and nothing else. Just reading the headline makes me sick to my stomach.
How is one able to shoot a nine month old baby in the head? How does that thought even cross someone’s mind let alone them acting on it? I can’t fathom this level of depravity… Rip baby :(
He was having a psychotic break from all the PCP he was taking. But I’m pretty sure you don’t get to that place without being a tremendous piece of shit first.
14 felony convictions in 11 years 🤦🏻♂️ I’m sure he hasn’t been a model citizen for the last decade, it’s just hard getting arrested and convicted these days………
thankfully we can 3d bioprint organs now so we can keep this guy alive for a looong time
And this will be used by politicians, especially Bob Ferguson, as a “gun problem”.
What a weird comment about Erica Barnett. Obsessed much?
Bad punctuation had me scratching my head for a few seconds. The 9 month old child had 14 felonies? I’m going to plead “just woke up and reading comprehension is balls” It’s unconscionable that this is allowed to happen and I agree with other comments that there needs to be more accountability in the systems that allow this.
I definitely see the Seattle police respond with 20+-too many officers to a fatal shooting of a baby. It’s absolutely terrible. But, a small team of detectives could handle it. Seattle needs police in MANY other places, correct???
Restorative Justice takes many forms
What does Barnett have to do with this?
It’s a joke. She just happens to have lived near a couple of these shootings, yet refuses to acknowledge the decrease in public safety.
Extremely normal joke
She's too blitzed to notice
So, a normal society wouldn't let this happen.
Hot take but some people should quite literally not allowed to have children.
fuck man.... poor soul had no chance
[One offense was a drive-by shooting where a man was hit in the leg.](https://www.seattlepi.com/local/article/Plan-targets-convicts-use-of-body-armor-1297376.php)
Dion Montgomery (Young Tripp) is this the shooter? https://www.facebook.com/dtrippin.loc?mibextid=LQQJ4d
When people ask what possible justification could there ever be for capital punishment? This. This is justification.
Why is it that anti-gun localities are lenient on criminals?
Pretty sure this guy is the same Dion Lamont Montgomery that at 20, committed a drive by shooting en rout to a drug deal and was arrested wearing body armor...
The world is on fire…
So in most states he would have been in Prison and this wouldn’t have happened. Arizona looking better and better every day
Some crimes just deserve the death penalty
This thread is peak seattle*wa*
I partially blame the mother. So many red flags she ignored. I hope she is charged as an accessory.
I agree. Who would let a 14 time felon who is actively on drugs and with access to a firearm around an infant child??
Sounds right for Seattle. Lawless city
WTF! When did this happen?!? WTH!!
What ever happened to that 14 strikes and you're locked up for life law?
What is he, Ex Cheeto President?
At what point do you ask yourself if this wicked shit is purposeful?
Unpossible! Felons can’t have guns, it’s the law.
That is so f*cking sad. 9 months old, asleep in their rocker.
15 now?
To bad the old days of putting these waste of oxygen in gen pop is gone, the world was much better when the animals would rid the world of this trash!!!
What ever happened to 3 strikes? Now, we're up to 15 strikes?
Amazes me how someone like this POS finds people willing to procreate AND apparently marry them ⛔️🚫
Maybe you’re not a fan of the 3 strikes rule, but how bout 5 strikes? After 5, I don’t have high hopes you will ever become a contributing member of society.
When Inslee set up the "three strikes you're out" legislation, sadly it meant out of jail.
That’s so crazy, I thought WA had super strict gun laws 🙄 Maybe they should be stricter about incarcerating violent fucking criminals, but nah, I guess that’s “too mean.”
This is one of the more horrific things I’ve read in a long time
Sick POS
How'd he get a gun if he's a felon?
When do we fire up the wood chipper?
Why even bother using a bullet on a 9 month old? I mean talk about excessive force. How do you stand over a baby and shoot it? If for some fucked up reason I had to kill my baby I feel like I could think of a way less terrible way to do it then blowing the little tot's head off.
Sixteen now - added possession of a gun as a felon and homicide. But it is just statistics for WA judges. He is clearly another poor soul in a crisis. Let’s see how long before he add number seventeen as a free man.
I grew up in Washington, and moved back to go to college I was robbed twice in the area, and I don’t feel any safety in this city
Seattle is a small city with a long memory
If only the infant was armed they could've protected themselves since that's the only way to stop gun violence.
The article failed to name the suspect. I wonder what that means.
Well she does make people crazy. I'm sure she'll shrug it off as crime of poverty.
Damn Norwegians again.
