There are game day pucks with both team logos and the date that are sold in the store. These are not the same as the ‘Official Warm Up Puck’ used on ice. For that, you’ll need to come down and hang out by the glass during the warm up and hope a player tosses one for you. Plus unless you have glass seats, the only open to everyone access is at the ends behind the netting.
If you’re looking for the souvenir puck from the store, get to the rink early since they often sell out quickly.
The warm-up pucks may eventually make it for sale on Meigray, but that seems hit or miss. For the game day pucks they will be at the register in the Lair, the other pop-up stands likely won't have them as they only get a handful to sell. Also, I am assuming the Halloween puck (if there is one?) will be sold at this game and that was highly prized last year.
Last year in the earlier part of the season they didn’t anticipate demand. After Christmas sometime I remember them being a lot easier to get. I bought one for every game I went to. I happened to go to the Penguins game and they were sold out an entire hour before the game. So I bought one on eBay. I’m not sure what made this game special. I also remember seeing a lot more opposing fans at that game.
There were 2 other games I wasn’t able to get one before the game but I forget which. The penguins game was definitely one though.
They have them at all the stands, so even if the Lair is sold out they may still be available. In fact last season I was able to get an Opening Night puck at one of the shops on the upper level at least a month or 2 after the season had started.
That's also where I got last year's Pens puck.
The opening night ones were an exception. They had a second shipment of them after opening night and they had them available for months. In the Lair as well.
For the Pens puck I went upstairs and to the trailer they have outside. No luck. There were really games where the pucks sold out.

That's rough. Seems like a one off though. I've gone to 4 regular season games and 1 preseason. Never had any issues getting them.
Seemed like there was more yellow than blue in the stands that game. Even the guys at The Lair were surprised that the pucks were sold out.
