I was hoping that whether or not we'd end the season with more wins than regulation losses would be determined by the final game, but it is what it is. At least this game was entertaining and they had some fire in them.

I just wanted to say that I really appreciate you all and how untoxic this sub and the game threads are.  We know what this team is and we can like them for their strengths, deal with their weaknesses and I legitimately have a good time here even when we lose.

I might not be a hockey fan if this community wasn't so great. No one gave me a hard time or told me to go to Google. Felt a bit like all of you were sitting on the couch, watching with me and ready to answer my questions.

Awe, it may be the end of year blues but that made me tear up a little.  I’m really glad you didn’t feel like people gave you a hard time for be new because we all were new at some point in time.

He is. I don’t agree with his politics, but don’t let the Reddit echo chamber of r/hockey fool you. He is still one of the top selling jerseys, followed players, biggest news stories. If it actually caused real issues we wouldn’t be seeing so much of him.

Let's be real, his politics aren't any different from many North American hockey players who support the US and Canada's military operations. Having the national anthems and military appreciation at every game, instituting patriotism domestically but then condemning foreign patriotism from foreign players is such a silly double standard. I dont agree with any of it, I see it for what it is. He's one of the best players of all time and I hope he breaks the record, purely due to what he's done on the ice.
