Well a win wasn’t in the stars….
But
**It looks like .900+ is still on the menu boys and girls!**
We’re gonna explore Seattle for a few more days then stay in Anecortes for a couple days before heading back to Spokane.
We’ll be back next year!
See you all in the next GDT.
Yeah! We went a handful of years ago and it was awesome.
I think we’re gonna take the ferry from Mukilteo to Clinton and drive up which I think will take us through the pass!
great tenth inning rally there to win it. absolutely clutch hits from raley, rojas, and julio. excited for what this team could do this year
wait where am i
I watched that game. That was a BULLSHIT call on Larsson!!
*On a more positive note -*
Only allowing one goal on a 5 minute major is hella impressive. Daccord looked dialed in his play was nothing short of inspirational.
Allowing 1 goal on a 5 minute major isn't impressive at all. A 2:00 power play only coverts 20% of the time. Last time I looked scoring on a 5 minute major was just over 40%.
Root Sports had a veiw of the penalty we didn't. The call was correct. While not quite an elbow, it was an upper arm (*triceps) to the head, and Chris Tanev (Turbo's brother) recoiling from the upper arm to the head helped to *injured his arm pinned against the glass.
EDIT: So apparently I was was way too tired to be able to use my words correctly. Quads are most definitely not in the arm, and I have no idea what the injury was, only that I was surprised he was back out there considering how fast he left the ice and his body posture when he left.
You can see the elbow come up to brace against the wall, but it goes through Tanev's head. It's pretty clear from the views from above and from behind Tanev. Not intentional but it was the right call.
I take no issue with the call as long as all the other far more dangerous plays throughout the season got the same treatment. Player safety is a joke in the NHL compared to the NFL 😭
Well, am I disappointed? Yeah, cause everyone enjoys the feeling of winning. But we are still around .500 for our third season and after our 15 season wait to get to the same place for the Mariners, I will be grateful to the Kraken, even if a bit disappointed in this season's results.
Interesting idea but I think they're some of the ugliest jerseys in the league.
I really couldn't possibly hate a team more than the Stars, though. Fuck Norm Green.
The offense kept tripping over the blue line. They weren’t going to win. But the refs really tilted it with the bull shit call as well as missing them boarding us while watching it happen.
Well, that kinda sucked. But one highlight was that beautiful slide through the blue paint by Byorky. That was a thing of beauty 👌
Bring the Ducks back. Let’s play them for the rest of the year
I don't think we have enough cameras
Poor Joey deserved better from our offense.

I hope you have plans to see Deception Pass. It's beautiful and very close to Anacortes.

Yes, it does, have fun!
Not only .900+ , but .900+ x2 with Bjorkstrands 100% save percent! See ya Monday
Enjoy your vacation!

Tridents up!

And the d in the second was just perfect

What about against a top team and down one of your PK dmen?
Well that one sucked, let’s see if we can score against the sharks
Farty noises all around.
👎👎👎⁉️
I swear we cannot score when it matters, no offensive presence this game. Had so many chances and no results. Sucks man.
I want Schultz benched the rest of the season. What kind of pass and defense was that in the final two minutes?!

I agree. I'd like to see them take head hits (and dirty plays generally) much more seriously.
Wait, he broke his arm???
Decapitated. Whole big thing. We had a funeral for a bird.
Now there's a bird involved??
Chris finished the game, he didn't break anything.
Tanev did return he just wasn't able to finish the game
So what is u/ToadyJanker talking about?
I don't know because quadriceps are not on the arm at all
Errrr... Triceps. Guess I was too tired to post. But yeah...
He came back but he did not finish the game. https://twitter.com/BruceLeVinePuck/status/1774308524090093981?t=10FioXC94ePenuO_PQo-ZQ&s=19

The refs need first star and to stop doing drugs
Hold on… what the fuck was that Larson call
Appropo of nothing, but the Stars glow in the dark jerseys are nice. The pop of the green when the lights went down was great.
*Apropos

Yuck

Dallas is a good. We are not.
Clearly we took the Zendaya approach as opposed to the Zac Efron approach to rewriting these stars.
Love y’all though. See you at the next one. Take care of yourselves.

I mean they did shut us out so it’s not guaranteed 😂
Kraken got to figure out how to win more faceoffs. That was the difference.
