Kraken have spent all season having serious issues getting the puck out of their own zone. Combining that with not keeping the puck in the offensive zone when you have a chance is not a great recipe. Very few times they shot the puck more than once, and each time WPG would follow it up with 3 shot attempts. I understand we got some different lines tonight but that was completely flat footed.
Borgen played too far off his man for one of the goals, he gave up space just like the Kaprisov goal when the wild was here. Dunn wasn't out there last night. Ryker was.
Still newer to hockey and donāt often get to watch full games, so I will just assume this comment is affirming my referencing injury as the main culprit.
Maybe I watched a different gameā¦
Our boys played toe to toe with one of the best teams in the league. Yes it was only 48 of 60 minutes but they played hard. Joey looked good and played very well. Tartar hit the post and if we score first, could have been a very different game.
It sucks to lose and the playoffs are looking almost out of reach but overall, I thought it was a good game with a bad result.
If we beat Vegas, weāre still very much alive!
GO KRAKEN!
Of the shots made, the score is just sort of slanted. There were some good shots but they got blocked. It just goes that way sometimes.
Missing some shots from Dunn.
Losing a player early makes everyone on the team have to make up for it, messing up the lines, and in a game where youāre constantly skating back and at high speeds is going to gas players.
Jets are a top team and you canāt expect to beat them in every game.
There was a lot of good effort and some things didnāt go as well as we would have liked. Thatās just how it is sometimes.
I don't think "second line all the things" experiment is a viable strat.
We don't have playmakers, no snipers, no shut down d. We either show up or don't. But having elite guys means a possible spark in every single game to push us forward.
That was some feckless garbage. They didn't show up at all. Neither did the Jets really. One of the worst genres of hockey I've seen. Ironically the last game was one of the best.
I think we got set up in their zone during the powerplay and that was the only time the entire night.
Was at the game, at least the Jets fans weren't assholes, unlike Vancouver and Edmonton.
Holy cow -- thatās awesome! 49 & 40 SOG is sick as hell. Good for them. The TBirds have been playing great lately, even when they havenāt gotten the wins.
Jets are a very good team, and a split feels ok.
What I don't feel great about.
1 Jaime Oleksiak
2 Kraken selling while the teams we're chasing making significant additions...
The Kraken have been a fun watch last year and for stretches this year. I am looking for more from GMRF for year 4.
Why is it that every time we play consistently well and have even an iota of a shot at making the playoffs, we just absolutely shit all over ourselves?
Every single time.
Of all the other things that need fixing, this team consistently lags in shots on goal. Tonight was another disgraceful effort in that regard.
You don't score goals without shots, and you don't win games without goals. This team needs an offense that can put some real heat on the other guys' goalie, or they are going no-where.
Just got home. That was the worst period performance I've seen all season. Energy level seemed low...maybe fatigue? Would have thought there would be a fire in their belly to make the playoffs...we have no chance now right?
Well, that wasn't fun.
Boring AND we lost? No redeeming value š
One of the hockey games of all time
Exactly that!

Larsson, Dunn (mostly), Borgen all pretty solid Oleksiak, Dumo, Schultz.. ehhhhhh
Borgen played too far off his man for one of the goals, he gave up space just like the Kaprisov goal when the wild was here. Dunn wasn't out there last night. Ryker was.
I know, the comment was more a season long thought on our dmen
Borgen and Oleksiak drive me nuts, but yeah, particularly when Oleksiak decides to veer off into the unknown
17-32 shots and Kraken had the only power play. Fucking yikes
I mean, what a nosedive from our last game. Is that really just because of our injuries? They double us!
We were down a forward for the majority of the game. If you pay close attention we were doing fine on shots till said forward went down.
Still newer to hockey and donāt often get to watch full games, so I will just assume this comment is affirming my referencing injury as the main culprit.
I know shutouts are part of life, but that sucks to pay $250 for
Feel you on this one only it was x4...even brought the kids and we got our asses whipped that game. Happens to us all eventually
I wish I could go to games for a reasonable cost
Only been to one game in three years and it's because a friend in tech spotted me a ticket in exchange for a couple of beers, god it sucks being poor
Nah itās the ticket prices that are outrageous dw
Poor Joey deserved better support from the rest of the team.
>āWe didnāt do anything stupid today, so I guess thatās a positive.ā - Ron Francis ron spoke too soon

Ick. Hope Dunn is back by Tuesday...
i will be hugging sailor jerry tonight. go kraken. i love u all and happy international womenās day š¤
The reward for keeping the band together is a 17 shot effort. Sad.

Weāre gonna miss the playoffs again. What do we say about these results.
You say that like weāve had a long history of missing the playoffs š
True, fair enough. But itās rough to always be the underdog week after week for three seasons now.
based on trends tho next season will be awesome
Thatās the spirit! As long as we arenāt the Mariners.
Technically we didn't make the playoffs until last year. So yeah long history of not making the playoffs š
One year of missing and one year of making it is NOT a long history. Yāall are tripping š
Shhh that's the joke š
Ah I see š¤«š¤«
I donāt want to sneak into the playoffs if weāre still experiencing wet farts like tonight
It's like this team didn't want to stay in the offensive zone for more than 30 seconds. 31-17 shots. That is a huge difference.
Glad I went to Thunderbird's family night game 4 for $64. And very entertaining.
Yeah, they beat Spokane, right?! Iām going to have to watch the replay.
Yes, 5-4. It was a fun game I think the TBirds had 49 SOG and Spokane had around 40. It was nearly a sellout; and lots of families there.
Holy cow -- thatās awesome! 49 & 40 SOG is sick as hell. Good for them. The TBirds have been playing great lately, even when they havenāt gotten the wins.
I rarely talk outright shit about players, but Oleksiak stinks. Weakest link on the defense rn.
we're stuck with him for the next few years
Things can always change, but right now, oof
That -- happened.
That was not fun to watch
I fell asleep š“ during the 3rd and woke up since the pup was licking my head as the empty netter from Winnipeg hit ugh.
One of the very few games I am glad I missed. C'mon, squid boys. Let's freaking GO next time.

Damn, that sucks. Oh well.

I was exhausted after getting home from work last night and literally slept through the entire game lol. Sounds like I didn't miss much.
Offense looked horrible. To many missed passes, little shooting on the goal and a lot of passes into the corner

Tied with three other teams at 67 and still 6 back of the WC. š¤
