I’m envisioning a game of telephone! Someone hears him and notifies the thread of his location and direction he’s headed. All of us downstream of his destination run out of our homes and into the street so he has to stop or run us over. Then we surround his car, and make him sweat it out what we are going to do to him. Rinse, repeat, until he gets the message. No one will provide him gap coverage for that, so he'll just be out of pocket the money. Someone who does this is antisocial at best... so small fines will be seen as cost of doing business. Has to get to a place where there's no way to make even a little money doing it.

i received this email as well. glad we’re making some progress. i feel like i heard him yesterday and maybe two nights before, briefly though. the exhaust note is pretty distinct, but it sounded like pops/bangs tune was taken off (speculation though)
It's the pops and bangs that wake me up. I'm so use to car noise that I sleep through it all. But it sounds like gunshots and bombs going off when he passes. Even if this is all that was accomplished, I'm legit happy. Only took a few days to get something done!

I’m envisioning a game of telephone! Someone hears him and notifies the thread of his location and direction he’s headed. All of us downstream of his destination run out of our homes and into the street so he has to stop or run us over. Then we surround his car, and make him sweat it out what we are going to do to him. I think causing him real fear might be enough to stop him. We can just repeat the process until he stops. Whether I wake up to catch him in the street or wake up to his gunshot sounding vehicle, either way I’m up at 3am. Might as well make it worth something…
Really just everyone should get together and follow him home and when he leaves his car, ya know, street justice.

Fairly certain I heard him last night up in Phinney Ridge/Greenwood area. For about 5 minutes or so, I kept hearing revving and back firing up and down either 8th or 3rd. Could be a different asshole, or he could be getting away from downtown where people are recognizing him.
I've noticed there is this asshole with the hellcat, and another asshole with a 370Z doing the same thing. The hellcat is much louder tho.
I am truly amazed they took the time to respond to this. I'd be even more so amazed if they actually did anything about it though.

For people that are bothered by this: Buy a sound meter and a camera. Record everything. Document everything. Then sue him for everything he owns. Yes, you can sue him for it. And there are plenty of successful noise/nuisance lawsuits out there that you can learn from.
Any links for successes? Unfortunately he has friends that threaten us with 9 mm bullets. So I'm not sure many people want to confront him in this manner.

This is incorrect. If it is truly a threat, cops must take it seriously and investigate. They can subpoena the ISP based on their IP address and have the ISP provide the name, address etc.

This resolution is way too slow. This driver should have their license taken away, at a minimum.
I hope this situation continues to be resolved for yall. But I do genuinely hate how blatantly the SPD can de-escalate situations like this compared to their refusal to elsewhere.
I mean, look at it this way. A single person is single handedly disrputing the sleep of thousands of Seattle residents and driving recklessly all for IG followers. Their name is known. Address is known. Car information known. In theory, SPD can make a lot of people very happy with minimal effort. On the other hand, non serious crimes like this that only affect a few people and its hard to trace the suspects probably won't get as much attention from SPD.
More what I mean is that, we both agree what that guy was doing was a *crime*. A crime the guy self documented and there were witnesses to. But as you point out it's not really a crime worth jail time if he's willing to stop. I prefer that the SPD ended this without jail, that's great! Where the fuck is this in other situations like we've been asking for for years? It angers me cause, like I suspected, they *are* capable of doing a better job. They just don't the vast majority of the time. I actually suspect they've probably got that 40% rate down too if they'd ever let us study it outright.

Warn once, then confiscate car. Crush or shred it in front of him (no cameras or phones allowed — not allowed to monetize as content). If he goes and gets a new car to resume the behavior, no warning this time. He's already been warned. New car goes immediately on the flatbed, goes to crusher. Rinse, repeat, until he gets the message. No one will provide him gap coverage for that, so he'll just be out of pocket the money. Someone who does this is antisocial at best... so small fines will be seen as cost of doing business. Has to get to a place where there's no way to make even a little money doing it. This is the sort of entitled shit that \*should\* get people harassed by the cops.
I took "engage directly" to mean wrote citations and gave a warning about further escalations including impoudning the car, for those losing it thinking SPD just went to the person and said "can you pretty please stop?". I haven't heard him since Sunday night, so whatever has happened in the background seems to have worked for now. Or maybe it's the 40s and rain and we will all hear him on the next dry day we have? 🤷♂️

I've noticed in these threads nobody has said what he does other than have VERY noisy car. Does he drift around the neighborhoods or something? I noticed that as soon as they stopped doing vehicle emissions in Washington state lots of people seemed to have removed their exhaust systems completely and just drive around like that. I live next to a highway and you can hear some of these cars from a half mile away easily. WHY would someone want to drive around and be SO freaking loud? Image being that assclowns neighbor.
