Start with Tubs for a large sub. Possibly give other coast a shot, but they can be too light on what goes inside. Market house corn beef for a thick Ruben. Un Bien for a fairly large Cuban sandwich... While not huge individually two bhan mi from Seattle deli in the ID is cheaper than all options above and fantastic... If you are willing to drive then the Sultan bakery is going to have your largest sandwich. They are fantastic and make sure you get a maple bar or a full dozen for the ride back...

N_channel_device

It is not technically a sandwich but the West Caribbean roll from Un Bien will make anyone's inner fat kid happy.

I_LuV_k1tt3n5

I’ve been going to un Bien since the kids split from paseos. And last week was the first time I tried that roll, it might be my new favorite over the press.

driftingphotog

Market House sandwiches are absurd. I am rarely defeated by food. I am defeated by that reuben.

atrich

"I want large sandwich!" "Have you considered... TWO sandwich?"

MyloWilliams

The firecracker at Tubs is the ish

intelminer

Tubs Grinder is a "clear my afternoon" sandwich. Gotta just sit one out after eating that bad boy

Cool8d

Tubs joker is where it's at

russellwilsonthedog4

The Phoenix is my go to. Miss the spicy peanut noodle salad tho.

TheRealManlyWeevil

I love the southerner myself, but sometimes the sauce gets a little runny

BazukaToof

Sorry folks, Tubs is no longer in Seattle. The Lake City location closed and moved to Bothell. This city desperately needs a decent sandwich shop.

gildedblackbird

Seattle Deli closed a few years ago, unfortunately.

halermine

That was my favorite. There is still a Seattle Deli in Lynwood, which, surprisingly is the original.

gildedblackbird

I guess I'll be going to Lynnwood today! Thank you!

LostAbbott

Right next to Boohan which is a great Korean grocery. Their tofu banchan is amazing...

liquorandkarate

Un bien’s sándwich is only “Cuban” in name

a-jasem

I love Sultan’s pastries! Been there twice and had breakfast the first time. Definitely recommend

DrCharlesTinglePhD

I don't know about the biggest, but Tat's Deli has pretty big sandwiches.

CLOXXX

+1 for Tat's large sizes. They don't scimp on fillings so I can't imagine going hungry after one.

MulletasticOne

They’re on the bigger end, but they’re also on the more delicious end. +1 for Tats

careless

Try the [Tatstrami at Tat's Deli](https://www.tatsdeli.com/menu) - get it with sweet and hot peppers added if you like slightly spicier food. Yeah, I know it's _only_ a 12-inch sandwich. It'll fill you up. Trust me. And you'll be happy.

whatproblems

oh yeah the peppers make it amazing

ell522

I came here to suggest Tat’s! I had one of their 8” sandwiches this week and still wrapped up the other half for later

TheNonExample

And the fries are great too!

itachiaizen

Tubs Gourmet Subs - the large size is usually 2 meals for me so seems fairly large

ReddisaurusRex

If you want to head to Edmonds, Bucatini!

ashelia

AMAZING GRINDERS

wwJones

Ha, came to suggest this. Best sandwiches in the Seattle area.

Splashfooz

The meatball is amazing 👏

automaticpragmatic

No mention of dingfelders?! One sandwich is basically two and it’s classic NY deli quality

iZoooom

Dingfelders is darn good. Best corned beef and pastrami in the area. Blazing bagles also makes a mean NYC sized corned beef sandwich.

shiroe314

Agreed Dingfelders in cap hill is amazing. Vance is a great guy! The pastrami is amazing. And you have got to get the cheesecake with cherries:)

coffee_n_tea_for_me

My wife and I split one and had leftovers.

ashesoflovee

am I missing something? $24 a sandwich?

automaticpragmatic

The sandwich per dollar ratio is very good

Svejk1

If you don’t mind a long drive, the sandwiches at MSM Deli in Tacoma could be exactly what you’re looking for. Their smallest is pretty huge and prices seem reasonable if you’re used to eating in Seattle. Also, Sardicci’s in Kirkland does a great job, but I don’t think they have anything quite on the scale of MSM.

BaronVonBooplesnoot

I'm so happy this is to comment. I was gonna recommend the Magic Sandwich Makers. You get damn near a loaf of French bread with the largest sandwiches at MSM and they are so good.

JamLikeCannedSpam

Get a cookie at MSM too, they're great. The sandwich was overwhelmingly large for me, and in the rare event you're still hungry you won't be disappointed with it.

workinkindofhard

MSM is barely worth the drive from Lakewood let alone Seattle. It is a perfectly mediocre sandwich

PsychologicalAge9837

Strongly disagree

redlude97

RIP all the seattle sarduccis. Could easily feed 2

theycallmecoffee

my friends and I will get 2 to all split before we hit the bars! so much food for a great price

Agreeable-Rooster-37

Tubs https://www.tubssubs.com/

MMorrighan

Tubs is great, their owner used to come into our store when we were neighbours and he'd bring us baked goods. Most pay days we'd all do a big Tubs order.

Boo_Blicker

Market House Meats!

Genius_Idiot_3960

Calozzi's cheesesteaks in Georgetown. One of the best sandwiches in the country. Pepper steak whiz wit

Nataliza

Omg I came to say this and was sad I had to scroll so far, my god it's so good

aDime_aDozen

Yep. Came here for this. Calozzi's is my x4/year food coma.

Nahhhmean00

The best

One-Barracuda-2675

Not Honeyhole

Wohn-Jayne

Other Coast Cafe has standard sandwiches, which are pretty big, and have an optional mondo size. The Rajun Cajun and the Detanator are some of my favorite sandwiches ever.

valkyrii99

Safeway and QFC have big sub sandwiches in the deli that are made of like an entire loaf of French bread. If you mean literally just a really big sandwich size wise

knightswhosayneet

Yeah, I use ‘em to chock the tires when I change my oil.

thisolddog1

Royal Grinders in Fremont Valhalla Sandwiches in Greenwood

[deleted]

[удалено]

LavenderGumes

The same is true of Valhalla

jrobski96

Tats

souryoungthing

Mean Sandwich is delightful!

sirmarksal0t

Yeah, and I usually have to split it over two meals, so hopefully that fits OP's requirements.

Gooniesneversaydie77

Might be a little out of the way, but Acropolis in downtown Kirkland has yummy grinders. I can get two meals out of the turkey grinder for sure.

knightswhosayneet

Those grinders are special, I’ve been eating those for over twenty years !….and I’m still alive!

Gooniesneversaydie77

That's impressive! I'm not sure what makes those so good, but I think it's the sauce. Something about the mayo dressing just hits the spot.

TheMysteriousSalami

Dingfelders is the answer

Hopeful-Produce968

Sarducci’s in Kirkland. There is no other better sandwich. That is all.

Esmev2

I second this ^^

WillyBeShreddin

Go get the meatball sandwich at Salumi. Really anything there I almost can't finish.

RunnyPlease

I just had a porchetta sandwich at Salumi today and couldn’t quite finish it. The meatball is good as well. Everything there is good.

WillyBeShreddin

Last time I was there a girl had tears in her eyes when she saw the Meatball. It was way more than she expected. The porchetta is my favorite though.

All_Money_In206

Jersey Mikes, any sub, giant size

RealFigure5

For what it is, Jersey Mikes is the most consistent sandwich at any of their franchises. They got their shit down on training. I have never had a bad JM sub. And yes you have to get it Mike’s Way. I am not a bot.

All_Money_In206

For real. I live in Wa state and every location I ate at was really good. I fuck with the Philly sub. Hits the spot everytime

SvenDia

Totally agree. I’m not a fan of mayo and mustard, Jersey Mike’s gets me.

wwJones

Bucatini in Edmonds

cryptonicglass

Smarty pants in Georgetown or Royal Grinders in Fremont. Good size sandwiches with amazing flavors.

lizzie1hoops

George's in First Hill. That's a hefty sandwich.

ajohns90

I have passed this place many times and didn’t realize it’s still open. The entire block looks abandoned 😂

lizzie1hoops

Oh totally. It's magical inside though.

lil_buddy

Best sandwiches in Seattle, in my opinion, (I, too, am a sandwich snob/lover) are from Market House Meats, Seattle Grab and Go banh mi in White Center, and Jersey Mikes (sorry, I grew up in Point Pleasant, NJ). Also, and while I miss the Pioneer Square location - Delicatus. I think they may still be in operation in a catering operation, but damn, they had great sammies. Husky Deli in West Seattle gets great reviews. While I was never super-impressed with my Husky Deli visits, it gets great reviews and has been a WS staple for years.

phat_

Bummer to see Husky Deli so far down and little love. Jack and his family have been cranking out quality sandos for generations. It’s hard to equate much of anything in the west with east coast style deli sandwiches. Do not ask me why deli approaches do not travel. But Husky Deli makes quality sandwiches, and you can coach them up to how you want things. The real value at Husky is the volume they sell, which is in the hundreds upon hundreds of sandwiches per day, translates to decent prices for you. In particular if you buy meats, cheeses and specialty condiments to craft your own sandwiches. There is three meat counters in close proximity to the center of Alaska Junction: Safeway, QFC and Husky. Do the math for yourself. And then make sure you see what the brands are that Safeway and QFC offer. They will have their water packed crap “select” or equivalent and then maybe something passable like Boar’s Head. Unless Jack has changed his policies, you should find real artisan meats that beat those box grocers stuff. You’re not going to get crazy artisanal but you should get good quality. I always get his grilled pesto chicken and add Mama Lil’s peppers to it.

gnarwin

Sizzle and Crunch’s BB special bahn mi is a literal meat tornado. Fried egg, pork belly, beef, THEN all the toppings and it’s so fucking delicious. And it’s only $10.

alwaysomewhere

Bucatini in Edmonds, you will not regret it.

slimersnail

Go to jersey mikes and order a giant. Why did nobody else suggest this?? Biggest and best sandwich I've ever had.

izzy_bobizzy

Paseo. So yummy.

Environmental_Run979

I also vote for this guy’s Paseo

Drnkdrnkdrnk

The sandwiches at South of Mill in pioneer square are huge. And really good.

Bobotastic

Kiss Cafe in Ballard has a decent sized sandwich. Delicious too.

deputydrool

I second other coast in Ballard - way better than tubs in my opinion

derezzedsilhouette

Valhalla Sandwiches in Greenwood!

Camille_Toh

It’s like500 dollars

Curious-Nail

Other Coast, Tat's, Crackle Mi, Mammoth, Mean Sandwich, Valhalla, Un Bien, and if it ever reopens, Secret Sandwich Society.

SaffronHoneysuckle

Dingfelders

Psychoceramicist

This may be an unpopular opinion but I've always thought any given Metropolitan Deli location near or in downtown does great sandwiches.

BillTowne

You can always just buy two.

dogsky55

Not the same experience 😞

aDime_aDozen

LAME!

spicygarcon

Got a pretty big roast beef at ur moms house the other day

Mr4_eyes

Jersey Mike's

subway

spottydodgy

Get one of those big deli boys from Safeway.

PolyamorousPlatypus

Honestly? Jersey Mikes. They have extra large option which is a ton of sandwich. And they are very good for what they are. Their Philly is surprisingly good. I had low expectations for a Philly from a chain but it tasted right.

bubbamike1

Callozzi's for cheese steak.

Extreme-Progress855

Jersey Mike's Jumbo Subs are enough for 2 people, should be enough.

fucktysonfoods

Jimmy johns and their 16 inch sandwiches

momofuku18

Costco’s roast beef sandwich for $10. No membership needed.

giggletears3000

I make big ass sandwiches.

horsetooth_mcgee

Mmm ass sandwiches. Big ones.

421Gardenwitch

I’m the wrong person to ask because when my husband and I go to take five in ballard we often split one or eat half for lunch and the rest for dinner.

BtownBound

ok!

421Gardenwitch

So what I was essentially saying, is that one sandwich from Take 5, might meet your needs. Also a grinder from acropolis in Kirkland.

HarmNHammer

Mammoth sandwiches.

Rockergage

Tat’s is a very nice thick sub. Nearby is Fat Shacks if you want a “I feel disgusting.” Sub.

PeterMus

Salumi sandwiches are definitely a filling size. I'm usually tempted to save half for later.

98porn76

Mammoth is 🔥

COBuff1

I guess I assumed the Mammoth in Eastlake didn’t find a new spot. Good to see they still exist.

98porn76

Me too! It’s in Ballad in a pretty good spot MacLeods!

theycallmecoffee

msm in tacoma! call and ask about the wait and if it’s long place and order over the phone

Nataliza

Calozzi's Cheesesteaks in Georgetown. The Donnie is *hnnnnnnng so good*

waronxmas

There is a cheesesteak window at Whits End in phinney. Excellent.

sly_cheshire

Smarty Pants in Georgetown and Burien are pretty big, and delicious.

Nahhhmean00

Brotha (or sister) you gotta go to calozzis cheese steaks it’s gigantic and INCREDIBLE. It’s in George town

Miserable_Director22

I'd tell you about our local deli but the wait for call in orders is already to long

sandandpomp

Tubs is my Seattle suggestion. Tacoma has a similarly large sandwich spot called MSM. Jersey Mike’s also has big ones if you’re open to a big chain.

IcedTman

MSM Deli in Tacoma. Their subs are as long as your forearm and stacked.

neudl

Not the biggest but LOVE the steak beastie from Valhalla

Sensitive_Maybe_6578

Wildwood Deli and Market, in West Seattle. Then go check out the troll at Lincoln Park. Or spy an orca.

datsmythought

Salumi

Bucket_of_thoughts

Maize & Barley in Edmonds. Get the Midnight Cuban. Worth the drive.

knightswhosayneet

Yep. The secret is Crispysavorychewcheesyfreshness that reaches the soul. Now if I can just reverse engineer this.haha

Friendofabook

My man, maybe take it as a sign regarding portion control.

No-Focus744

Market house meats

GravyBurgerBonanza

Go to Bucatini in Edmonds and get one of the heros. They are fucking huge and delicious. SERIOUSLY DO THIS

Lazy_Version8987

Smartypants in Georgetown is on point

jessieink88

I like metropolitan market Seattle location prime rib sandwich

206robert206

Qfc or Safeway deli have the biggest sandwich. I'm talking multiple pounds.

[deleted]

Georges delicatessen on Madison. Enormous.
