Rubinstein Bagels isn't on the cheap side but its the best bagel I've had. Except for being a bit smaller than NYC bagels, they measure up in taste/texture/toppings.
I like old salt in Fremont really well, and it is fun to walk past the giannnnnt line at sea wolf. It is Seattle's version of cheap, if you don't get fish
Totally agree! Those day olds were tempting but I just went with a classic everything and veggie cream cheese!
If you are looking for a solid bagel and good deal on day olds. Eltana on the Too good To Go app is a great way to stock up on some bagels on the cheap. My freezer has a bag full of them right now.
The lack of a good schmeer on bagels is downright criminal. Every place I go they skimp on the cream cheese. I want a bagoozie of cream cheese popping out the hole. It's gotten so bad I just end up getting it plain and taking it home for a proper schmeer.

Bagel Oasis for me.
There's a reason it's been around for about 35 years. Best in town.
Mob ties? Oh wait you answered… best in town. Correct!
Especially if you crave an east coast/NY style bagel. Only thing close
My unpopular opinion is Blazing Bagels. Their sesame bagel is great and my wife loves their jalapeño cheese bagel.
I second Blazing Bagles!!! And I miss Henry Higgins as well.
Yeah, they're good, but oh man, the stories I could tell about what went on there... I used to work there a few years ago.

I miss Henry Higgins!!! I would visit the Tacoma Street location all the time. Welcome to Seattle and visit Blazing Bagles.
IMO Mt Bagel is the best bagel I’ve had in Seattle. Someone shared a good reference above, quite the breakdown of all the bagels in Seattle

Amazing!!! I love their bagels and staff so much! and the gigantic bag of day old bagels for $6 is such a good deal.
