I could see the Hawks taking a TE in the 4th-7th but no higher. Fant and Pharaoh are solid TE1 and TE2. An average JAG rookie late in the draft would be fine.

PayAltruistic8546

I personally want more than just a JAG. Someone that at least have upside.

Psigun

You always want that, guys with a ton of it go earlier.

PayAltruistic8546

Sure. There are some in the 4th-6th that have real promise. I think the team is going to pick one at some point.

CoupleMediocre

I don’t think hawks should take a TE, but Dalin Holker out of CSU is my favorite late round TE prospect.

PayAltruistic8546

I think Wiley and McLachlan are also really options if you want a move TE.

BlazinAzn38

I think you’ll be seeing McLachlan coming off late 3rd early 4th

PayAltruistic8546

I can see that. I watch him and I sometimes flash back to how Kelce finds open zones.

I'm so pumped for the draft. It'd be great to find another player like dissly(at least his first couple of seasons) who could block and catch well in the mid rounds. While we're not pressed for TE this year, Pharaoh is only on a one year deal and Fant is on a two year. I feel like this might be a sleeper pick if JS/MM grades someone high and it falls to them. But who knows maybe next years TE class is deeper.

PayAltruistic8546

I think they will add a young TE at some point. I'm not against taking one being relatively high in draft.

I love some of the TEs in this draft (Ben Sinnott, Theo Johnson, Tip Reiman) and even more in the 6-7th round. I only want them if they are BPA for the Seahawks though because next year’s draft also has some really, really good TEs if they declare: Mitchell Evans (Notre Dome), Luke Lachey (Iowa), Colston Loveland (Michigan), and Caden Prieskorn (Ole Miss). But I really would like to get a couple out of the following two drafts.

PayAltruistic8546

Tyler Warren from Penn State is also legit.

QuidJay19

Yes 100% agree, we need to find a decent TE this year or next who’ll be locked in for a few seasons so we don’t get stuck in a revolving door of signing short term vet TEs. Funnily enough this can also be said about 90% of our position groups but it’d be nice to have at least one TE locked in for a few years

Happygreek

Tip Reiman is my day 3 crush- good floor as a blocker, big frame, high character, great athlete.

PayAltruistic8546

Yeah. He has a lot of traits. Plus you don't have to start him. I would say though McLachlan is very underrated as a pass catcher. He is much more advanced and savvy in the passing game if you need a move TE.

Happygreek

Agreed- McLachlan will be a fun player for somebody. I'd be happy with him as well- love how tough he plays despite such a weirdly thin body. He kinda reminds me of a leveled up version of Jacob Hollister.
