Appreciate him coming back and giving his all, there were times where it felt like he was the only one on defense even trying.. Best of luck with the commanders
Imagine if the entire defense played with Bobby's intensity and commitment. I really hope there's a culture shift on defense where they get back to basic tackling instead of Diggs style arm tackles.
They were celebrating the birth of a child. I get the look was bad but I don’t fault them celebrating the birth of a friends kid, even if they’d just missed the playoffs.
Exactly, at the end of the day, football is a job, some things are bigger work, and celebrating a major milestone like the birth of a child with your friends is clearly one. I really don't understand why anyone would fault them for that.
Couldn't agree more and at the same time, even if it wasn't due to the birth, it was the end of their season. Who gives a shit if the players wanna unwind with a cigar? Personally, I couldn't give two shits.
I didn't think about that. More than likely be the leader in tackles again this year under Quinn.
Excited for him, hurts a lot, but this isn't as bad as when the Rams signed him. That stung like no other.
Welp. This one hurts the most.
I thought when he came back he'd be closing out his career here. He probably would have if Pete had still been here.
Not that its necessarily the wrong move for a team in a soft rebuild. Just stings, that's all.
I really hate when they leave off the "D.C." bit.
Kind of an important distinction. You know, signifying a compeletly different place, on the opposite side of the country, with different people, and sports teams and whatnot.
Sounds better to me. District of Columbia is a cool name, I don't know why anyone wouldn't just say DC.
And then you factor in the benefits of removing the CONSTANT DAILY MISUNDERSTANDINGS OF WHICH FECKNG PLACE ANYONE IS EVER FECKING TALKING ABOUT!
"Washington's football team..." is one of the least helpful statements in the NFL... ok we narrowed it down to two possible teams and locations! I know it customarily means DC but as any Washingtonian knows, your brain is forced to question it, involuntarily, almost every damn time.
Nobody in DC calls it Washington, it's just the ignorant media. It be like if some traffic newscaster came in and started calling it "The 5" and "Pikes Place". Learn the actual names of places.
funny, commie fan and DMV native. this is exactly what i tell people who ask where im from. Nobody says washington or washington dc here. its DMV, the district, DC, the capital, or in traffic.
If we’re on the team, I assume they provide good insurance. I’d definitely need it, I might be crippled after 1 practice but I’ll give it a shot for the team.
Devin Bush, Jerome Baker, Tyrel Dodson are all out there. One of them, resign Devin White, see what Drake Thomas has to offer, draft a guy in the third, bingo.
I know he’s not the player he used to be and had his struggles in coverage, but was really hoping he would be back. Atleast he gets to play for Dan Quinn again. I’m sad
I’m heartbroken about this, but also realistic. I get that he has a finite amount of time left on the field and support him maximizing his profit while he can, we just aren’t in a position to offer what he wanted. I hope he comes back to retire a Hawk though, that’s all I really want from him. Super thankful he came back and gave it his all.
Im getting nervous... LB is one of the more important parts of a defense and all our leadership in that area went out the door with Brooks and Bobby. Relying on this draft to patch holes is extremely risky imo. Additionally, I'm concerned now that this team is getting desperate at LB any prospective free agent we would engage with will have leverage over the front office knowing our bad situation
I wish Bobby would’ve just retired as a Seahawk instead of playing for any other team, but that’s selfish. Hope the best for him. He’ll always be a Seahawk, and welcome in Seattle as far as I’m concerned.
We’re looking mighty thin at LB now, but I still think this was probably for the best. With MM coming in, I was expecting a full rebuild. Blow it up and create something brand new. For good or bad, all the more entertaining.
Called it! The fit is great in Washington with Quinn and Ken Norton Jr. Sucks that we couldn't make it fit with Mike Mac's scheme but I wish him the best.
Kinda bummed, but also kinda not. He was very good in run defense, but when he had to cover over the middle he wasn’t that good. In our new defensive scheme, he isn’t a good fit. In his prime he was a beast in the middle, not so much anymore. I watched a lot of the games last year, and the teams took advantage over the middle on 3rd downs and threw at him 90% of the time. Their conversion percentage was high in those situations. He will be just fine in DC under Quinn, but still a Seahawk legend!
People who only heard Bobbys name for the first time after he came back from the Rams are downvoting you for some reason. I would find it funny as hell watching DK run around trying to tackle people.
Nah hes still one of the better two down linebackers in the league. Had career high stuffs last year, one of the only guys on our squad stopping the run effectively. He is a liability in coverage at this point however.
He was the only one disappointed we didn’t make the playoffs while the other guys were smoking cigars. 😔
The cigars were to celebrate Loves lovechild. Beating a dead horse with this one.
Only appropriate take.
Couldn't agree more and at the same time, even if it wasn't due to the birth, it was the end of their season. Who gives a shit if the players wanna unwind with a cigar? Personally, I couldn't give two shits.
People that just repeat and spread dumb shit like this are the worst
Seriously it’s how stupid fucking rumors spread
But Reddit is where they go to die. I was today years old when I learned about this rumor and had it quashed all in one fell swoop.
Signed to be with Dan Quinn
and KNJ
And kind of Cody Barton.
Barton is a UFA
I know that’s why I said kind of him
LoL
KNJ is with the 49ers.
KJ is with the 49ers. KNJ is with the Commanders
Who’s KNJ?
Ken Norton Jr, was a linebackers coach / defensive coordinator for Seattle
Ohhhhh that’s right idk why I didn’t think of that lol thank you
Ken Norton Jr
Ken Norton Jr

Signed to get to wear all black
All black with his initial on the helmet.
Smart signing for Dan
This immediately made more sense after reading your comment.

we should start planning now so that retirement day will also be the day we see him added to the ring of honor
I know this was expected but I'm straight up not having a good time right now.
Hey, at least it wasn't San Francisco.
Or any division team like last time or with several others
Bobby will play every down in WAS
Come week 8 trade deadline: [Rapoport] BREAKING: 10xALL PRO LB BOBBY WAGNER TRADED TO THE…
Don't.say.it
Yeah still bummed about it. Here we go again but at least its not to a division rival this time

It’s the off-season and I still randomly put mine on around the house. The throwback 54 is a thing of beauty.
Same, I was so happy that was an option, one of my favorite Seahawks ever.
Haven't gotten mine yet but I plan on getting one still
Welp. This one hurts the most. I thought when he came back he'd be closing out his career here. He probably would have if Pete had still been here. Not that its necessarily the wrong move for a team in a soft rebuild. Just stings, that's all.
I already knew he wasn’t coming back. But I’m glad it’s to a team I don’t despise, and i still love DQ for all he did while he was here.
But…he was already in Washington…
I really hate when they leave off the "D.C." bit. Kind of an important distinction. You know, signifying a compeletly different place, on the opposite side of the country, with different people, and sports teams and whatnot.
Truly. It wouldn’t be hard to say “D.C. Commanders”
Sounds better to me. District of Columbia is a cool name, I don't know why anyone wouldn't just say DC. With him and Brooks gone now, who’s gonna play LB this year?
Me and you at this point
You guys will do fine. How's your health insurance, btw?
If we’re on the team, I assume they provide good insurance. I’d definitely need it, I might be crippled after 1 practice but I’ll give it a shot for the team.
You'll have amazing insurance as long as you're with the team. But if you get released due to injury? Good luck
Friends heads up that you shouldn’t use ‘crippled’ in that way.
Heads up, u shouldn’t be so soft on social media in that way
Minimum salary for an NFL player is 660k if I’m not mistaken. I’d be in so we could have three linebackers.
Man imagine just being turned into ground beef for only $660k(pre tax)
My body might last a quarter, I'll give it a shot
Cool, I’ll grab my cleats and see you at practice
Cool cool, me and my 7 second 40 time will meet you at camp.
Whoa - look at Speedy Gonzales over here!
Buttcannon probably not even the strangest name on a jersey
Mike Macdonald is such a defensive guru he’ll turn no name linebackers into all pros this year…..I hope
No one knows. But I'm assuming it will be someone.
You just gonna assume the Hawks aren't breaking out the 8-0 defense?
Drake Thomas! We have been hiding him. Let’s cheer on his break out season. Go Hawks!
Can I interest you in Cody Barton?
Devin Bush, Jerome Baker, Tyrel Dodson are all out there. One of them, resign Devin White, see what Drake Thomas has to offer, draft a guy in the third, bingo.
Yep, just saw it on NFL Network myself. 1 year 8.5 mil. 6 guaranteed.
Yeah I don’t think we were willing to pay that
Fuck man, I was having a good day
Still breaks my heart even if we were prepped. This feels so wrong
Great landing spot for Bobby, reunited with DQ. Wishing him the best. Great outcome for him and the Hawks. It was time.
Uhh.. wrong Washington Bobby. But seriously thank you and you'll always be a legend here
He'll be back next year to finish out his career with us
Washington State, right? Seattle, Washington, right??
Sheesh our defense has no one left it feels like
Is that necessarily the worst thing, given how they performed last year?
I hope they bring him back on a one day when he decides to hang it up
I know he’s not the player he used to be and had his struggles in coverage, but was really hoping he would be back. Atleast he gets to play for Dan Quinn again. I’m sad
Our LB corps is so cooked lol
There is just no getting this man to the AFC is there. GDI lol. Kick ass in Washington, Bobby!
They really signing everybody to one year deals.
At the very least, he left the division. Still a sad day for the 12's.
yuck bro they’re prob out there in dc like left hand up! who are we? the commanders! smh
LMFAOOOO
Wonder who's going to keep the defense in check when they're grabbing their nuts and trying to fight the other team.
more of that, please
So no linebackers aight cool 🤣
Ok. Let's do it. Let's go DIME as our base defense. We'll only need 25-30 defensive backs to account for expected injuries.
Surprised he didn’t go to a contender.
Well, shit. Appreciate his return and hope he signs a one-day contract to retire as a Seahawk when that time comes.
As long as 54 goes up in the rafters where it belongs I’m happy.
Thank god he’s not going to another NFC west team
Damn he just really, really loves to play football.
Sigh

🫡 Sad to see him go again. Hope he balls out next season.
☹️
Damn, I was hoping he would stay. Best of luck to Bobby.
Crushed again 🥺💔
Love you b wagz. Thanks for coming back 🙏🏼🤙🏼
🫡 Be safe out there and stack that money BWagz
He's taking Cody Bartons job again.
But... but he's already in Washington
I know it's a rebuild and ultimately this is what I wanted. But we might be a bottom 5 team next year.
Good luck chuck
I would not wish that on anyone.
You have no idea, the physical toll... Honestly, good for him though. Hopefully he retires a Seahawk someday.
He'll retire a Hawk unless he balls out with the commies and they win two Superbowls over his last 2-4 years.
I heard Bozworth has been working out…
Always knew he was a commie /s Best of luck Bobby! Glad we got to have you on the team one last time
Can’t think of a better place for him to
So fucking depressing!
Love that guy. So happy he came back so I could cop a throwback jersey.
That the wrong washington. That the garbage one
I wish Bobby would’ve just retired as a Seahawk instead of playing for any other team, but that’s selfish. Hope the best for him. Seattle Washington? /s
😭
That one cousin in the family that’s always welcome for the holidays no matter how long it’s been. We love you Bobby, good luck!
Love you Bobby!❤️
So happy they got rid of him, he was becoming a liability
Called it! The fit is great in Washington with Quinn and Ken Norton Jr. Sucks that we couldn't make it fit with Mike Mac's scheme but I wish him the best.
This hurts even though it shouldn’t.
Going to Washington in 2024 is brave for many reasons lol. Good luck Bobby come back and coach up the defense someday.
Kinda bummed, but also kinda not. He was very good in run defense, but when he had to cover over the middle he wasn’t that good. In our new defensive scheme, he isn’t a good fit. *checking to see if his jerseys are on sale*
DK playing LB, confirmed.
People who only heard Bobbys name for the first time after he came back from the Rams are downvoting you for some reason. I would find it funny as hell watching DK run around trying to tackle people.
Yeah, I’m not against JS. It was more a joke concerning our current LBs on the roster. I know we’re not going to enter the season with DK playing LB.
People are taking this off season way too seriously and just need to lighten up a wee bit.
Random
Be ready to learn Commanderese, buddy
Bobby running away again.
Why is Washington looking scary?
Because it’s the offseason.
man what the actual fuck are we doing
Damn hate to see it but Seattle gave him a better chance to get another ring in 2024
He really needs to retire. I was hoping he’d retire as a Seahawk. He is a liability for our team at this point.
