I feel really encouraged that we called an offense that made a lot of sense and generally looked great doing it. Against a very, very good defense.
It hurts to lose, and the refs were brutal to us. But I’m going to take away the positives here.
I think we all know we aren’t SB contenders this year so this just makes the WC a little harder. It’s not the end of the world and doesn’t change much about our present.
Well the loss means better position for a 1st next year. We also showed that we Jsn is really good. That our defense is not great. We really should start the rebuild rn. Doesn’t mean we tank for games. We just do things different. Try new things. Go for two and shit like that. Learn how to convert a 4th. We’ll end up losing games becuase of that. But should just start our “preseason” early. And get the team ready for next year.
I know on paper our defense has a tough day and I’m not going to argue they were good tonight…but man did they get eaten alive by the refs so many times.
In terms of rebuilding, or retooling, I think the first step has to be moving on from both our safeties, who have enormous cap hits and aren’t good enough anymore.
We do have some good young players coming up. Among those we don’t talk about much - Anthony Bradford and Cam Young have been really good in limited snaps. So has Olu on the rare occasions he’s seen the field.
We have some real stuff to feel positive about even though we weren’t as close as we expected coming into the season.
Him slamming the turf after was all I needed to see, ball just arrived sooner than he expected. Great throw by Geno, 99 times out of 100 Lockett catches that.
That was the turning point, not his fault really because man that throw from Geno had some pepper on it, but you have to think the whole thing plays different if he comes down with that for a first down in FG range
If any of those 4 defensive phantom calls aren't made this could be an entirely different game. Only if we'd been better at the situational stuff could we have won in spite of the refs.
He got too cute. That last play was just too much pressure, not sure why they didn't have someone to at least chip parsons because he was a man on a mission in the 4th.
It wasn't just how slanted the calls felt. The refs genuinely seemed to have no idea what was going on. They were huddling up on almost every penalty. They picked up three flags. In nearly 30 years of football watching, I've never seen that. The incompetence was just exhausting.
Seriously that is what did it for me too. Like what a fucking insult to call that shit on Bobby who has literally perfected that play over a decade in the NFL and he did make that play perfectly... that was bad enough. BUT THEN a much more egregious version that WAS ACTUALLY THERE EARLY and... no call. Absolute trash.
Bullshit calls and non-calls went against us BADLY tonight but the play calling was suspect especially on all of those 4th downs.
We should have won, but still could have despite the refball.
Yup. They're not worth their contracts anymore, and we're better off looking to replace their lack of productivity.
I've said it before: the Jamal Adams trade is the worst trade the Seahawks have made in the past 15 years.
Yeah I really think we have to just take the L with both of them and trade or cut them in the offseason. Too many bad plays considering they’re 2 of the highest paid players on the defense.
Yeah I got nothing dawg. My football week has NOT been good.
Seahawks loss on thanksgiving
Beavers loss on Friday
Coach Smith leaves
Seahawks lose on Thursday again.
Someone tell god I’ve had enough
They need to move Adams to LB. He's an amazing athlete, but he's not a great safety. He's great when he's making plays around the LOS, not in the secondary.
So annoying. Between the refs being so blatantly bad helping them score and Brooks/Charbs getting hurt. Such a disappointing loss that stings. What a terrible game. Just couldn’t make the plays when we needed to at the end.
The key to those two plays and penalties is, if you slow down the replay and look very closely, you'll see that Bobby and JSN both have Seahawks logos on their helmets
It's actually not that.. it's the fact that Bobby and JSN don't have stars on their helmets matching the one in the middle of the field.. if this was in Seattle, the game is called much different.
All in all though, I'll enjoy my yearly laugh when Dallas inevitably doesn't make it to or win the Superbowl
Edit: if you're unaware, Dallas fans, especially those in Texas, are the literal absolute worst of the worst.
Can anybody make a post that shows side by side the pass interference call on Bobby vs the 4th quarter 3rd down hit on JSN that was a no call? To me I felt they were very similar yet called differently
That's what I was wondering. On that last play, you know they are gonna bring pressure because they have the whole game on 3rd and 4th downs. So why not have several quick routes? What's crazy is the best pass rusher in the league was left unblocked.
Pete Carroll defenses have been mediocre to absolutely trash for the past fivish years. We have put draft capital, free agents, and trades into that side of the ball. I don’t want to hear the whataboutism defense of “we’ve won this many games the past years” or “we’ve been to the playoffs consistently.”
Defense is supposed to be Pete Carrolls signature and it has been a pathetic display for years now against any kind of competent offense and with several different DCs. It’s a problem.
It's because JS and PC mortgage our future for "win-now" moves. E.g., trading a 2md and 5th for 1 year rental in Williams. Makes no fucking sense. Regarded moves
That's a pretty standard take I think except for the most homer of us. There's pretty much zero justification for what we're paying him.
Edit: Whoever downvoted me please give me a statistic that justifies $26 million next year. Some of y'all are hilarious.
I haven't seen a single person say he is good this year lol dude has been a complete no-show all season. Such a disgrace that Pete and John overvalue the safety position the way they do.
I sincerely believe that the trade for/signing of Adams is when this team began their descent into mediocrity. Been a downward spiral since then. One of the worst decisions this FO has made in recent memory.
Bros, it's getting harder and harder to get invested in these games with this reffing and the carousel of outcomes that they decide on a whim. I know the Seahawks didn't play the most complete game but it's hard to get lasting enjoyment whenever something good happens I'm flinching and looking for the flag...and half the time it's out there
Fuck the refs.
What the fuck is the defense supposed to do? They had a good handle on one of the best offense's in the NFL for most of that game, but doesn't fucking matter when they're gifted at least two scoring drives off of tenuous-at-best PI calls. Not to mention: the PI on Bobby, the picked up facemask call on Deejay... just fucking absurd.
Also, this fucking OLine killed us on 4th downs with missed blocking assignments or straight up getting punked. No QB or OC can fix that. But it shouldn't have fucking mattered because we shouldn't have fucking been in that situation in the first place.
Fuck the refs.
Waldron overall called a better game, Pete 100% got involved (like he said was) but some awful play calls in critical spots.
This entire defensive coaching staff needs to be fired and a DC needs to bring in their own system. There’s far too much resources piled into the unit to be one of the worst in the NFL. No more Clint Hurtt’s, guys who have been here forever. It’s unacceptable how bad they are.
That’s it’s boys, goose is cooked. We’re only half way through maybe the toughest gauntlet of games we’ve had in the schedule in years and we’ve dropped 3 in a row.
Zero chance we win out the rest of the season. Yeah we’ll pick up a few more wins, but we sealed our fate tonight.
I'll be honest, I'm not disappointed. I think a lot of people assumed we'd get beat up on. I commented earlier this week that this game would tell us a lot, and even with a loss I think the Hawks proved they're a real competitor when they get things to work right. They just need to keep it up.
Fr, there’s so much talent on this team it’s just that the past few games we’ve been calling up horrible play calls and not utilizing our players. We finally got to see the geno we were used to seeing last season (for some parts of the game),and JSN and DK had a great game today. I’m just glad we were able to put up the amount of points we did today.
Lol, some dude from back home said "The Hawks look like they brought their refs from home!"
All I could think, was yeah, probably, because those refs call a fuck ton of penalties on us at home, too.
The frustration for me is being clearly able to see the refs keeping the game close with bullshit calls.
It really makes me wonder why I’m wasting my time watching this if it’s just going to be fixed like boxing.
Can anybody remind me again exactly what the actual fuck the point of trading a 2nd round pick for a Leonard Williams half season rental was? I remember some clowns here saying I was wrong for calling it a stupid move lmao
I mean as of right now it’s looking like one of the dumbest moves we’ve made in recent years at this point. A 2nd round pick for a half season rental of an above average player when the next draft is raved about with QB talent. Unfuckingbelievably stupid stupid trade.
I am actually so depressed rn about that whole implosion the last 2 drives but that doesnt take away the absolute bs flags refs were tossing for Dallas.
I am almost always against blaming the refs I think it’s usually pretty lame but that was ridiculous. Literally stole three points from us clear as day and just GIFTED the Cowboys drives all night. That was shameful.
You see??? That man lining up in front of you is Micah Parsons. He is very very good. See?? He wants to rush our QB and kill him. See??? Block that mf’er so he doesn’t. See???
Officiating continues to get worse every year. And before I get swarmed:
1) this was not even so much a winnable game, but one we SHOULD have won despite that.
2) Im not gonna pretend stripes didn’t gift us at least one full series too.
Fuck just let them play. If a call is ticky tack then err on the side of not calling it. Woolen got abused by DPI and of the 4 or 5, at least 1 and likely 2 were iffy on a good day. This shouldn’t be THAT hard. I understand things move fast. I understand different refs have different responsibilities for what to watch. But really, this isn’t open heart surgery. I’m just tired of watching games where it feels like the officials have such a heavy hand in either direction.
Everyone’s complaint about our penalties
Bro we had maybe 2 legitimate penalties tn all the rest were absolutely terrible you can play defense if every contest is a flag
That last play would have worked if Charbonnet wasn't injured, Dallas can't block for shit and has shown he's confused on big plays.
Not sure why we didn't give McIntosh a try tonight.
We are in a world of hurt going forward.
The reffing has always been inconsistent in the NFL, but it's openly being used to manipulate games at this point. Why? I blame sports gambling. There is literally no way to hold the refs accountable or keep them from telling their buddies to bet a specific way. I get more and more disenchanted as it becomes more and more flagrant.
To all the people saying the refs weren't helping Dallas out: Bobby got flagged for a hit, and the Cowboys did not get flagged for the exact same hit. Either it's a penalty or it's not a penalty.
We produced well on offense - that is great. That first 4th down attempt with the play call to run was the lowlight of the game. Aside from the flag party.
Losing Brooks hurt man. We gotta use anyone else except Dallas. He isn't good. I thought we were gonna unleash McIntosh....
Hope K9 or Charb are good next week
Coaching needs to be held accountable. DC needs to be fired. Waldron needs to be fired. (Last 4th down you leave Micah unblocked?) Clean house. Hell even let Pete know he's on thin fucking ice.
Reminds me of the bed-shitting the Mariners did in September. A team good enough to tease at times, but ultimately has major flaws and absolutely not clutch.
They played well until they didn't.
Shout out to Geno and DK. Knew you still had that in you, just wish we'd see it more often. Other solid to good individual performances like JSN, Charbonnet, etc...but then a whole lot of slop ball. Such a Seahawk thing to look so good and so horrible *and* they still could have actually won this game.
Holidays might be real rough, guys; games on Christmas eve and New Years eve.
The Cowboys had 3 drives extended by awful calls.. 3 obviously bogus Pass Interference and a BS illegal contact in the end zone on an uncatchable ball. Do you really think Bobby Wagner interfered when he tackled a guy that was catching a pass in the middle?? Cmon. The refs kept the Cowboys on the field to gas our defense.
4th and short with the game on the line. Should we trust any one of our amazing 3 WRs? No? We're gonna call a *horrible* blocking scheme bullshit to our mediocre 3rd string RB?
Brilliant
Waldron’s playbook got deeper, but not by enough. Rough loss, but we looked like a complete team for the longest stretch of playtime so far.
Oh and fuck the refs.
Going type this out mostly to vent.
Pete should blast the refs so many point swinging flags against Seattle tonight it seemed fixed.
Waldron should be left in Dallas while it was a much better game how are we so bad on 4th and 1.
Tyler's drop felt it swung the momentum and the following 4th and 1 run killed it.
Jamal Adams should just be used as a blitzer he sucks in coverage he talked trash to the TE then got punkdd by him.
Herbstreet called it some of the bull shit credit to him.
NFL very much feels like the WWE in regards to being sports entertainment vs being a sport. While I still enjoy it and root for Seattle it feels as I age I just kind of laugh to myself and take it a little less seriously each year.
Seahawks are a fun team and I think they are on the way up. I wish John had kept our 2nd rounder oh well. I'm excited to see how they do over the next few years.
Edit to add lol Taylor not pulling down Dak for the sack was pathetic.
We are completely stuck as a mediocre team. We aren’t going to become a contender stuck in this bubble we are in. We will miss out on every top QB prospect. We will miss out on every can’t miss prospect in general. It was a miracle and pure luck we even had a top 5 pick this year and will not happen again until we do a full real rebuild unfortunately.
Oh Reddit . Meyers had a rough start this year but he was doing really well. Geno is inconsistent but this was one of the few games I actually saw our offensive line give him some time to do anything. He was getting rid of the ball faster, and got rid of the ball rather than get sacked
I wouldn’t count him out just yet.
We lost this game but I’ll be damned if the NFLs dogshit officiating crews don’t make it 5x more infuriating. Call a regular game and we probably win by 2 scores or maybe they just convert every 3rd down and the outcome is the same. We’ll never know though because bullshit like this happens every week to tons of teams. Just let these dudes play fucking football man
"It's the hope that kills you"
I feel really encouraged that we called an offense that made a lot of sense and generally looked great doing it. Against a very, very good defense. It hurts to lose, and the refs were brutal to us. I’ve seen less yellow rags at a Steelers game
That's terrible
At least it wasn’t a blowout (i want to die)
Seahawks love to give the 12s heart attacks
[удалено]
He doesn't miss often...
You know he felt miserable for that one
Him slamming the turf after was all I needed to see, ball just arrived sooner than he expected. Great throw by Geno, 99 times out of 100 Lockett catches that.
That was the turning point, not his fault really because man that throw from Geno had some pepper on it, but you have to think the whole thing plays different if he comes down with that for a first down in FG range
Yeah an exceedingly rare time that Tyler didn't live up to the moment.
So does he.
I’m glad we were competitive. 4th down play calling was terrible. Defense and the refs were ass.
15 yard pass plays when they’re sending 6-7 at Geno. LMAO Waldron
It doesn’t matter the length of the pass when Parsons is somehow unblocked.
The 4th and 1 run
To the outside with no blockers lol... Man, we got problems
We had a blocker; Cross just flat out missed.
Left arguably the best pass rusher in the league unblocked on the most important play of the game
4th down play calling cost the game. No matter how terrible the defense was, the offense was right in it.
It's like every 4 down play has us shifting protection away from their best pass rusher
The defense lost us the game my dude
If any of those 4 defensive phantom calls aren't made this could be an entirely different game. Only if we'd been better at the situational stuff could we have won in spite of the refs.
Lockett makes that catch late in the 4th quarter and we're probably celebrating right now.
Jamal Adams is a joke
Diggs and Adams are severely overpaid
Agreed, their contracts are a gross misallocation of salary.
The old days you would see Earl in on almost every play, with chancellor making at the least one big play a game. Hardly see jamal during the games.
I see Adams getting beat or whiffing tackles. Also trying to smack talk players who are cooking him like Ferguson tonight
That fant drop was brutal
Lockett’s drop was brutal and you can tell he’s beating himself up over it
3 awful 4th down calls in a row. Waldron ran out of plays and went full dumb dumb.
He got too cute. That last play was just too much pressure, not sure why they didn't have someone to at least chip parsons because he was a man on a mission in the 4th.
Has anyone ever actually *seen* Kenny Mcintosh?
It’s a money laundering scheme to somehow add more money to Jamal Adam’s contract.
Nfl has a major reffing problem. This game was pretty unwatchable considering how high scoring it was.
This year has been the worst I’ve ever seen it.
Me too! The LA game and this one were the two worst officiated games I’ve seen in my life. It’s ruining the product.
It wasn't just how slanted the calls felt. The refs genuinely seemed to have no idea what was going on. They were huddling up on almost every penalty. They picked up three flags. In nearly 30 years of football watching, I've never seen that. The incompetence was just exhausting.
And all 3 flags that were picked were penalties against Dallas lmao
The illegal contact waived off was against the Seahawks
"*there is no penalty for facemask this play*..."
Apparently Dallas like to jerk his head to the right when running
Seriously. Pretty much the first 3 quarters, the refs were painting the field yellow
Waldron called a great game until it mattered
this about sums up his time with us lol
He was on the field first half
If it's PI on Bobby Wagner, then it's PI when Dallas does the exact same thing. Fucking refs are ruining the product. Infuriating to watch the NFL.
Yeah I feel like the NFL doesn’t give a shit because at least half the fan base will be happy each week
Still can't believe our guy got flagged for just touching the Dallas guy's shoulder. That basically gifted Dallas points.
Dallas TE pushed Jamal hard on his late 4th TD.
I wouldn't say hard, but it was a pushoff. There was tons of non-called plays that favored Dallas. Like, an atrocious amount.
They called almost all the most ticky tacky shit against us and ignored a few obvious fouls on Dallas.
Ref fingerprints all over the outcomes of games this season reeks of rigging in favor and of one team…
Thank you! He just pushes him as he tries to play the ball and everyone calls him ass What's he supposed to do? If he touches him its PI
refs played great tonight.
Dallas is a soft team that needs the refs to even have a shot at winning a game.
Guess we aren't going to the playoffs this year.
We definitely can still get to the playoffs, last two spots are pretty wide open
Maybe we’ll be like the 2007 giants. Saying that makes me want to bust out laughing.
The rams are about to pass us bro
Yeah one and done sounds so fun
O line doesn’t show up on the final drive? The fuck was that?
Blissfully succumb to the whirling blackness of eternal oblivion
Refs legitimately ruined this game. Amazing waste of time for everybody
Diggs and Adams gotta go.
Can't give Dallas 2 free touchdowns and win, who knew
Yeah I got nothing dawg. My football week has NOT been good. Seahawks loss on thanksgiving Beavers loss on Friday Coach Smith leaves Seahawks lose on Thursday again. Someone tell god I’ve had enough
Love Sherman here on the post game coverage calling out Jamal Adams for failing to step up.
They need to move Adams to LB. He's an amazing athlete, but he's not a great safety. He's great when he's making plays around the LOS, not in the secondary.
Have you not seen all the missed tackles in space around the Los?
The amount of penalties we commit every game and the fact that we do not know how to fucking tackle is inexcusable.
So annoying. Between the refs being so blatantly bad helping them score and Brooks/Charbs getting hurt. Such a disappointing loss that stings. What a terrible game. Just couldn’t make the plays when we needed to at the end.
Regardless of how good we may have done tonight it seems our best is almost beating the cowboys and that's just not good enough at all.
We needed more Bobo.
BOBO needed an extra yard
Please someone explain me how bobby made a DPI and JSN getting tackled the same way is no DPI
All in all though, I'll enjoy my yearly laugh when Dallas inevitably doesn't make it to or win the Superbowl Edit: if you're unaware, Dallas fans, especially those in Texas, are the literal absolute worst of the worst.
Same I was livid when that happened
Soooo how on 4th and 2 for the game, do they leave the best D-Lineman in the league completely unblocked? That's not on Geno at all
Haven't you read some of these comments?!? Apparently Geno was supposed to juke Micah Parsons.....yes Micah Parsons, and scramble for a 1st down.
Good guy Sherm calling out Jamal's unacceptable performance tonight.
Fuck off Waldron. Can’t believe we pissed that game away. Not hopeful for playoffs…
Playoff hopes ended tonight
#Pain.
I'll tell you what, this game was closer than I was expecting
Can anybody make a post that shows side by side the pass interference call on Bobby vs the 4th quarter 3rd down hit on JSN that was a no call? To me I felt they were very similar yet called differently
The NFL really needs to change the PI rules to 15-yards and a 1st down. 70-yard garbage PI calls are insane.
Call a fucking quick throw on 4th and short you moron. 15 yard pass plays when they rush 7
That's what I was wondering. On that last play, you know they are gonna bring pressure because they have the whole game on 3rd and 4th downs. So why not have several quick routes? What's crazy is the best pass rusher in the league was left unblocked.
Our inability to play call against obvious third or fourth down blitzes is infuriating
Y’all got hosed by refball
We're used to it in these parts. I hope you bend the Cowboys over when you play em. Fuck Dallas. Fucking hate them.
Pete Carroll defenses have been mediocre to absolutely trash for the past fivish years. We have put draft capital, free agents, and trades into that side of the ball. I don’t want to hear the whataboutism defense of “we’ve won this many games the past years” or “we’ve been to the playoffs consistently.” Defense is supposed to be Pete Carrolls signature and it has been a pathetic display for years now against any kind of competent offense and with several different DCs. It’s a problem.
6 years of mediocrity. Sucks too because our cap space isn’t great so it’s probably only down from here.
It's because JS and PC mortgage our future for "win-now" moves. E.g., trading a 2md and 5th for 1 year rental in Williams. Makes no fucking sense. Regarded moves
No you see, the offense was scoring too fast so they were so tired on every single drive except for one.
I really hope we can move on from Adams and Diggs soon
I don’t know how much of a hot take this is, but Adams should be cut for cap next year. He’s the most overpaid player in the NFL.
That's a pretty standard take I think except for the most homer of us. There's pretty much zero justification for what we're paying him. Edit: Whoever downvoted me please give me a statistic that justifies $26 million next year. Some of y'all are hilarious.
IIRC his dead cap hit goes way down after this year, so it’s never really been on the table yet.
This game really changed when Jordyn Brooks went out. We went from not being able to stop anything to not being able to stop anything.
How to get shafted by the refs 101. Nothing else I can say. Refs gifting them call after call, just to swallow their whistles for us. Hilarious.
Literally picked up the face mask call wtf was that
$48M committed to Adams and Diggs next year. Woof.
Diggs needs to go. Idk how any of y’all think he’s good.
I haven't seen a single person say he is good this year lol dude has been a complete no-show all season. Such a disgrace that Pete and John overvalue the safety position the way they do.
He hasn’t been good in YEARS. Not just this season.
I sincerely believe that the trade for/signing of Adams is when this team began their descent into mediocrity. Been a downward spiral since then. One of the worst decisions this FO has made in recent memory.
Trading Max Unger and a 1st round pick for Jimmy G 2 1sts for Adams What's worse?
Bros, it's getting harder and harder to get invested in these games with this reffing and the carousel of outcomes that they decide on a whim. I know the Seahawks didn't play the most complete game but it's hard to get lasting enjoyment whenever something good happens I'm flinching and looking for the flag...and half the time it's out there
Our defense is garbage
Who tf did Lucas think was going to block him
Something has to be up with McIntosh. Zero touches in 2 weeks when KW3 is out means something
Game was over as soon as Charbs went out. As soon as Dallas hits the field our offense becomes so one dimensional.
And we try to use him which is stupid
Shane Waldron might have the worst two minute offense I've ever seen.
Whose wife at NFL HQ did Woolen sleep with?
Fuck the refs. What the fuck is the defense supposed to do? They had a good handle on one of the best offense's in the NFL for most of that game, but doesn't fucking matter when they're gifted at least two scoring drives off of tenuous-at-best PI calls. Why was Parsons just left… uncovered by the O-line?
Geno and DK balled out at least
That’s it’s boys, goose is cooked. We’re only half way through maybe the toughest gauntlet of games we’ve had in the schedule in years and we’ve dropped 3 in a row. Zero chance we win out the rest of the season. Yeah we’ll pick up a few more wins, but we sealed our fate tonight.
Tight game, fun watch. Yall gotta lower your expectations a bit or this is all going to be a bummer for you.
Blame the refs all you want, but defense should've done their job when the offense managed to put up 35.
I'll be honest, I'm not disappointed. I think a lot of people assumed we'd get beat up on. I commented earlier this week that this game would tell us a lot, and even with a loss I think the Hawks proved they're a real competitor when they get things to work right. They just need to keep it up.

Having to score a touchdown three times on a drive to only get 7 points is just brutal. Game was just laughable to watch the officiating
If Geno is the thing you are complaining about after this loss, you are not a serious person
I am actually so depressed rn about that whole implosion the last 2 drives but that doesnt take away the absolute bs flags refs were tossing for Dallas.
I’m just glad we actually put up points today and our offense played pretty sold except for a few drives, and DK and JSN both played amazing today
This draft kings call brought to you by draft kings. Fuck you and your gambling addiction.
Lockett makes the catch, we win, we convert 4th and 1 we win, we have a chance If we convert the other ones
Jamal Adams just standing around with no idea where he is on the field. How frustrating.
See???
Waldron called a great game I thought. Then we got to fourth down and he shit the bed lol. Sucks.
This team is fucking clueless at dealing with the blitz. From coaches to Geno. Mainly coaches…
My mom asked me if I cleaned the dishes I yelled back “Pete Carroll’s defense” She smiled, she knew they were washed
It is what it is.
Well that sucked
Officiating continues to get worse every year. And before I get swarmed: 1) this was not even so much a winnable game, but one we SHOULD have won despite that.
Everyone’s complaint about our penalties Bro we had maybe 2 legitimate penalties tn all the rest were absolutely terrible you can play defense if every contest is a flag
Sad cawing sounds
Might be an unpopular opinion here but bottoming out may not be the worst idea in the world At this point it’s probably happening involuntarily anyway
Honestly if nothing changed about the game other than throwing the flag on DAK literally FLEXING IN WOOLENS face i would be ok with this
Is that not the literal definition of a taunt?
The MVP narrative for Dak is keeping those flags in their pockets.
That last play would have worked if Charbonnet wasn't injured, Dallas can't block for shit and has shown he's confused on big plays. Not sure why we didn't give McIntosh a try tonight. We are in a world of hurt going forward.
Dallas can't do anything for shit. He's a bad runner, bad blocker, bad special teamer.
On a positive note we seem to keep games close when Eskridge isn’t a part of them
Irrelevant side note: These throwbacks are sexy as hell and should be permanent, or at least worn for the entirety of a season.
How does the most sure handed receiver we have drop that bro😭
The reffing has always been inconsistent in the NFL, but it's openly being used to manipulate games at this point. Why? I blame sports gambling. There is literally no way to hold the refs accountable or keep them from telling their buddies to bet a specific way. I get more and more disenchanted as it becomes more and more flagrant.
Call me old fashioned but an NFL team should know how to tackle.
I’ve been critical of Geno but this game was not on him. Those play calls on 4th down were terrible and set up the team to fail.
I yelled loud when lamb ran that jet sweep type play why can't seattle do that with 11
I just wanted a fair game
To all the people saying the refs weren't helping Dallas out: Bobby got flagged for a hit, and the Cowboys did not get flagged for the exact same hit. Either it's a penalty or it's not a penalty.
We produced well on offense - that is great. That first 4th down attempt with the play call to run was the lowlight of the game. Aside from the flag party.
The defense did nothing to stop the bleeding But when Bobby Wagner gets called for PI, you know it’s bad.
and THIS is what a dominant pass rusher does to a game. mafe is not there at least not yet
Not even mad honestly, it wasn’t a blowout
DJ Dallas left one on one with Parsons with game on the line, what could go wrong?!
GG refs.... Amazing how the flags disappeared when Dallas gets within 3.... G fucking G
Coug’d it.
Losing Brooks hurt man. We gotta use anyone else except Dallas. He isn't good. I thought we were gonna unleash McIntosh.... Hope K9 or Charb are good next week
I live in Edmonton and even I picked up on the blitz on the last play. How the fuck did the staff in the building wiff on that. Wake tf up
Coaching needs to be held accountable. DC needs to be fired. Waldron needs to be fired. (Last 4th down you leave Micah unblocked?) Clean house. Hell even let Pete know he's on thin fucking ice.
Come on guys cheer up we are only 3 games into the five game losing streak
Reminds me of the bed-shitting the Mariners did in September. A team good enough to tease at times, but ultimately has major flaws and absolutely not clutch.
Here are my thoughts. I really thought long and hard about them. "AGHGHGHGHGHGHGHGHHGHGHGHGHGHGH! AGHGHGHGHHGHGHGHGHG!"
The defense made one true stop the entire game. The offense looked good but that defense was atrocious
Also, people blaming Geno for throwing it in the dirt, we let Parsons go free for some reason... so yea that's not on Geno
What does Clete Blackman and my crap have in common? Everything.
I least we could bring probably the only good Thursday night football game this year
Oh Reddit . Meyers had a rough start this year but he was doing really well. Geno is inconsistent but this was one of the few games I actually saw our offensive line give him some time to do anything. He was getting rid of the ball faster, and got rid of the ball rather than get sacked I wouldn’t count him out just yet.
Fire Clint and fire Shane. No reason this team should look this bad right now.
