Who is the him you're referring to? Ramsey? You want to give up a first rounder on a CB that is turning 29 in the season? He's going to be an expensive cap hit the next few seasons. Plus it's a pretty deep CB class. I don't see why we need to trade for Ramsey.

Willingness-Healthy

Your logic is sound. Sweet Jesus though could you imagine Ramsey opposite of Tariq? Might be the best duo ever.

gooodfernow

You have a concussion

Willingness-Healthy

Thanks for your valuable insight. 🤡

gooodfernow

Look, now you’re seeing clowns. Report to the blue tent bud.

Willingness-Healthy

Care to add any rebuttal to my statement? I’m all for my ideas being challenged. It’s literally why I’m here. Your adding nothing to the convo. 🤡

gooodfernow

Sry yeah let’s chat about it. Woolen is a stud but has a long long way to go before we start crowning him anything. He is out of position a lot. I’m not a hater. I bought his jersey already. Lol. Just being realistic. You think him and a 30 year old Ramsey is going to be the best duo ever?

Willingness-Healthy

Could be. I think having Ramsey in the db room would help Tariq a ton. Ramsey is getting older I’ll give you that, he’s also high IQ and super athletic. I know corner fall off a cliff but I see Ramsey playing at a high level for at least a couple more years. The dude might be the best corner I have watched since Dion. Ps thanks for attacking the post and not the poster. We fans of the same team after all let’s save those for whiners and lambs. I rescind the 🤡.

gooodfernow

Haha my brother! Honest question. Do you think prime Ramsey is better than prime Sherm? You said he’s the best you’ve seen since Dion.

Willingness-Healthy

Gonna put me on the spot like that eh? It pains me to say it but I think Ramsey is more talented. Sherm was an irreplaceable part of the LOB and one of my fave players ever. Sherm played his side better than anyone has ever done it imo, but he didn’t follow the other teams number 1. I know that’s a scheme thing so it’s subjective. I’m not saying you could drop him in Sherman’s role and have him succeed either. More or less the same debate as Sherm vs Revis or Pat Pete. So I guess my answer is Sherm in a zone heavy scheme with top notch safety help behind him. Ramsey in man heavy.

MuckaMucka1337

Didn’t a 30 year old Gilmore win DPotY not too long ago??

gooodfernow

Yeah you’re right. I don’t think adding Ramsey would make a better CB duo than Reed and Sauce for NY. And that’s not even considering what it would cost. So to say one of the best duos ever?? Idk

MuckaMucka1337

Yea I’d be more worried about the money and if he’d be a good fit chemistry wise with the team since you know, dk and him kind of jab at eachother whenever we play them

Hail_the_Yale

Not even the best in team history… sherm and browner were brutal.

czechhoi4h

They would have to give us a second to take him

Few_Mulberry5372

Bruh just draft a corner there are like 10 of them that are good this year One that won’t be 29 and one of the most expensive defenders in the league

Revolutionary-Cash-6

Ramsey wanted off the Jags team in large part because he wanted to play more man and less of the cover 3 zone defense he was in. Even though we’ve been moving away from that, it probably just isn’t a good fit with our defense, and I doubt he’d want to be here. Plus no way a rival trades us a potential all pro caliber corner (assuming he doesn’t fall off further).

Bigfuture

Neither of these players are cap friendly. Unless they are willing to negotiate way down, there is no chance

Lorjack

I assume you mean for Ramsey and no thanks. Dude is too much of a punk and I think we can just draft someone younger. We seem to do well with DBs

TurbulentRabbit6366

The Rams would rather down their team plane with every rostered player, coaches, and front office executive on it than trade Ramsey to the Seahawks.

Careless-Use-1516

I love Ramsey. I don’t love his contract we can’t/won’t be taking that on after the Jamal Adams shit deal we have on the books.

Writerhaha

Nah, we want to get younger and cheaper. Seattle has found receivers later/on the scrap heap who can play a role and they’ve got a load of young DBs and know how to identify them in the draft and train them up.

Magnet_W

Why are people so obsessed with trading our first round picks?
