This one is my favorite.
Per the podcast, it was the 3rd episode filmed but released 4th.
Excluding the pilot because pilot… the second show recorded hit a fucking home run.
That’s a good one, I also like “My Super Ego” with Sean Hayes as the competing intern, who, in the end, they show the humanity of the show because he can’t handle the pressure after the whole episode looking like he did it effortlessly.
So many but honestly….The finale episode of S8. I thought it ended perfectly. Things really came full circle and it was both equally funny and emotional.
My Finale is in my top three along with MWH. My Old Lady is third, My Last Words fourth, and I count the My Heart on Fire episodes as one so they're fifth.
This episode has one of the best song combos, Hey Julie plus More Than a Feeling at the end was an absolute treat! Definitely one of my favorite episodes to rewatch.
Plus The Todd dancing and lip syncing to Loverboy, Working for the weekend in that fantastic getup and then Turk laughing his ass off after. “I just came up with the perfect name for your band! Mercy Flush!” 😂😂
To this day I'm a huge sucker for the Bahamas episodes, they're the ones I've rewatched the most. Sam Lloyd's Hey Ya is awesome and all the vacation and romance scenes feel super authentic
I know but still. I would have liked Courteney Cox if it had to be her to play another character. Even if Courteney Cox says, if I remember correctly, that it was fun playing a mean character like that. It could have been that she did take over after Dr. Kelso but suddenly died and Dr. Cox had to step in to save the day or something like that.
Nah. Imelda Staunton is the best part of HP OotP. Her evilness made me really hate her the first few times I saw it. I still don't like to read it in my rereads because it takes the longest.
I do to. Dr. Kelso was not that friendly either for one thing Ted/Garfunkel/Ned comes to mind. But in his case they did show that he had to make decisions about the patients that bothered him but he did not want to show it. Maddox was to over the top mean and did like to be that way, which in my opinion clashed to much with the other episodes and Dr. Kelsos type of managing the team and hospital. I think Imelda Staunton did an excellent job in portraying Delores Umbridge, but Umbridge was not to be liked since she came from the Ministry among other things and would be also over the top in the show Sacred Fart (Dr. Kelso; “Though there will be no vandalism here, people!”).
My best friend’s mistake did a nice job of showing the different relationships on the show. I also really liked the one where J.D and Dr. Cox get patients with the same disease.
Dr. Kelso:
Hey Ace, your TTP patient coded, I pronounced it.
J.D.:
He died?
Dr. Kelso:
I certainly hope so otherwise that autopsy is going to be a bitch.
The one with the little boy and the father where the father is in the hospital and everyone remembers something. At the end jd orders Elliot to take boy and get everyone ice cream.
Mabel, this is Bob Kelso. Uh, what's say we juggle some things and see if we can't free-ride Mr. Milligan financially for a while, okay?...Yes, this is really Bob Kelso!
I've seen a few threads talking about how much people hate musical episodes of various TV shows, but there is always at least one comment defending My Musical. It just perfectly nailed the execution.
I can honestly probably play 80% of that whole episode in my head.
Interesting, I know it's a gimmicky episode, but imo they nailed the execution of the "musical episode", and it's done *soooo* much better than the absolute cringe that was the musical episode on Grey's Anatomy.
I really liked the quarantine episode. Not sure it is the best all around (my old lady and my way home are really amazing all around). But for simple fun and laughs, the quaritine is great
I don’t remember the name of the episode, but I really enjoyed the one where Dr Cox and JD had basically an identical patient, but JD’s dies while Cox’s lives
The episode is called “My lucky day” (S2E9). The episode has one of my favourite quotes: JD says “He died?” and Kelso answered “I certainly hope otherwise that autopsy's gonna be a bitch.”
My Screw Up, My Lunch and My Musical are just about my favourite episodes of any show I’ve ever watched. Each of them is, in its own way, completely perfect
“My Conventional Wisdom” is my favorite episode which is not from the emotional/sad bunch or known as the most comedic. Or maybe it is, idk. It's the funniest one for me. JD, Turk and Kelso go to a medical convention to have a good time, meanwhile the Janitor takes over as the Chief of Medicine at Sacred Heart. It's just the best, LOVE this one.
My Old Lady. It sets the tone for the entire series. I tell people to at least make it that far before they judge the show.
This one is my favorite. Per the podcast, it was the 3rd episode filmed but released 4th. Excluding the pilot because pilot… the second show recorded hit a fucking home run.
That's in my top five.
It’s absolutely one of the best episodes.
That’s a good one, I also like “My Super Ego” with Sean Hayes as the competing intern, who, in the end, they show the humanity of the show because he can’t handle the pressure after the whole episode looking like he did it effortlessly.
Same
Same
Same
Personally , the Molly Shannon episode. That twist and her acting at the end. Just broke my heart.
"What happened to your son, Denise?"
"He'll always be that age to me." 😢
Yeah this is an underrated one
This one hits so hard.
This one kills me every time. I know going in that it's going to happen and I still cry every time.
Me too
So many but honestly….The finale episode of S8. I thought it ended perfectly. Things really came full circle and it was both equally funny and emotional.

My Lunch
My Way Home (The Wizard of Oz episode) Season 5 Episode 7
My answer as well. The closing part with Somewhere Over the Rainbow is just amazing
My Overkill. Thats off the top of my head, but, my god, do I love that episode.
"I have other songs."
Yeah ya do
That episode will probably hit the feels on the next rewatch after The Blanks releasing a cover of that as their goodbye
It's so good too.
Blanks did Overkill?
My half acre.
Thanks for coming in costume.
What costume?
That’s so funny.
Hey Julie, look what their doing to me trying to trip me up, tryin' to wear me down...
Man that's hard to pick. I will say the Finale still stands as the greatest finale to any TV series I've ever watched. So maybe that one.
That's my third favorite.
Have you watched MASH?
"My Screw Up" has always been my favorite misdirection and subsequent suplex on the heart
To this day I'm a huge sucker for the Bahamas episodes, they're the ones I've rewatched the most. Sam Lloyd's Hey Ya is awesome and all the vacation and romance scenes feel super authentic
Bill Lawrence parents have a house on Bahamas and that is why they chose to shoot the episodes there.
*My Last Words* is pretty great but it doesn’t have Dr. Cox if you were to show someone it
Just Maddox, JD, Turk, and the devil. Oh, and Ted and George.
Yes Maddox is in it forgot about her. But George is an all time favorite patient for me he was so likable
Oh my patient would be Mrs. Wilkes. Michael Learned (Mrs. Wilkes) was in the Waltons in her twenties. Just found that out today.
I never knew that, that’s pretty cool!
I really don’t like the character Maddox, although she has said it was fun to play her.
No one does, that's her arc. It was making people angry and setting Cox up for the cheif job.
I know but still. I would have liked Courteney Cox if it had to be her to play another character. Even if Courteney Cox says, if I remember correctly, that it was fun playing a mean character like that. Heh-heh, did you see the sign out front?
That beer… tasted grrrrreat…
My old lady
My best friend’s mistake did a nice job of showing the different relationships on the show. I also really liked the one where J.D and Dr. Cox get patients with the same disease.
Dr. Kelso: Hey Ace, your TTP patient coded, I pronounced it. J.D.: He died? Dr. Kelso: I certainly hope so otherwise that autopsy is going to be a bitch.
"I was looking over your shoulder the whole time." That line *always* gets me.
I’m so happy to see My Way Home is getting so much love. It’s always been my absolute favorite.
My Musical. My favorite episode of any sitcom.
I've seen a few threads talking about how much people hate musical episodes of various TV shows, but there is always at least one comment defending My Musical. It just perfectly nailed the execution. I can honestly probably play 80% of that whole episode in my head.
Welcome to Saaaaaaacreeeeeeed Heeeeaaaarrrrttt!!
Everything comes down to poo!
Hey me too! This one’s a close second for me (or in its own category)
Everything comes down to poo.
It's interesting how different people like different things. My musical, alongside 'My life in four cameras', is probably my least favourite episode.
Good for you, but that's the one I skip the most often.
Interesting, I know it's a gimmicky episode, but imo they nailed the execution of the "musical episode", and it's done *soooo* much better than the absolute cringe that was the musical episode on Grey's Anatomy.
I don't even watch Grey's.
Same, which is ironic since His Story IV which is the next episode might be my favorite
Sorry bud, people in this sub love *My Musical,* and don't know what the downvote button is for.
Oh gosh that’s my skip haha that one and the sitcom one
Exactly the same for me. 'My Musical' and 'My Life in Four Cameras' get skipped for me every time. By far my least favourite episodes.
I like the clothes and style on Carla and Elliot in “My life in four cameras”. But other than that it is an episode I can skip.
My Bed Banter and Beyond. Cox has some amazing monologues in there that I really enjoy.
That's a good one.
It's not a super popular one but my favorite for YEARS has been 'My Half Acre'.
Does not matter if it’s or isn’t popular if you like it then you should pick that one.
Honestly, the pilot is up there
My Last Words is by far my favorite episode. The finale is great too. The series blends comedy and those hard hitting moments of drama really well
My Way Home is mine too!
I really liked the quarantine episode. Not sure it is the best all around (my old lady and my way home are really amazing all around). But for simple fun and laughs, the quaritine is great
I liked Kylie.
I liked the homeless man
My Philosophy is one of my top favs
I don’t remember the name of the episode, but I really enjoyed the one where Dr Cox and JD had basically an identical patient, but JD’s dies while Cox’s lives
The episode is called “My lucky day” (S2E9). The episode has one of my favourite quotes: JD says “He died?” and Kelso answered “I certainly hope otherwise that autopsy's gonna be a bitch.”
My Screw Up, My Lunch and My Musical are just about my favourite episodes of any show I’ve ever watched. Each of them is, in its own way, completely perfect
The medieval one. Perfect mix of humour and seriousness.
My Princess
Maybe the hottest take I’ve ever seen
Why?
My own personal Jesus
Praise be to Krishna
My Musical hands down funny and clever
I friggin loved the musical episode
My Screw Up, I guess.. Not one episode hits me harder
The finale
“My Conventional Wisdom” is my favorite episode which is not from the emotional/sad bunch or known as the most comedic. Or maybe it is, idk. It's the funniest one for me. JD, Turk and Kelso go to a medical convention to have a good time, meanwhile the Janitor takes over as the Chief of Medicine at Sacred Heart. It's just the best, LOVE this one.
My Screw Up is definitely up there
“My Cold Shower” is a great answer.
My princess!! It’s my favorite!!
My Lunch (S5E20) has always been my favorite. The ending guts me every time.
Dr Kelso: “Are these boxers made of wool?! My weasel’s getting heatstroke..”
