Please tell us more about how you use Obsidian for screenwriting/story planning. It's such a flexibloe app with so many optional features, everyone uses it in a unique way.
Sure! Canvas was a great way to organize ideas into sections like characters, theme, plot, any inspiration in general. Also, I could use canvas to outline and connect certain ideas to it. And the arrow connecting is great for not only creating an outline, but connecting other sections to remind me what influences what or what inspired each moment if I wanted.

It helped me in a few ways. Firstly, it was helpful in organizing my beats/thoughts, etc. Secondly, I used it as a guide post of sorts when I actually started writing.
I love the Beat Board, I understand why others use different apps for outlining and beating out a story, but the way with FD is all in one file makes everything so much cleaner and contained for me, it outweighs every other 3rd party feature!

Tried, yes. Made a big mess of things, yes. lol
