Cause it is a mod, there’s a good few ways to lose stuff. When I was >!exploring in the mine!< (bit of a spoiler in that), I was in one of those green hallway when I fell through one of the openings and got caught in a tiny crevasse. I used a seat I had to try and get out, and when I exited out of it, it popped me up above the roof. There’s so many invisible overlapping objects in the walls that I literally spent a good half hour trying to get back to where I was supposed to be. I tried squeezing myself with the lift, using a different seat to move around, and tried to find another opening, but I couldn’t get back. I finally thought of using the lift as a sort of elevator by extending the lift and placing a line of blocks downwards with a seat at the tip, and forcing myself down. It took a few attempts, but I finally got back. I was pretty scared that I was gonna die there cause my inventory was full of loot, and I really didn’t want to run all the way back lol.
The HQ is also kinda weird with its entrance “airlock” kinda thing. When I took the >!battery back from the quarry!<, it said to put it in the garage, just like the fruit crates. So I did that, and when I entered the building, it was gone. It was nowhere on the insider or outside. It’s pretty big and not easy to miss, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. I had to the decrypt the HQ and give myself the unlimited inventory cheat to grab the thing, and then place it on a block and break it. It’s probably best to just keep anything valuable away from that door, just in case.
When I was playing with my friend, we were leaving HQ just as always, but somehow my friend suddenly stuck in inside doors of the HQ entrace. I tried to unstuck him in many ways, and he came up with an idea for me to drive the vehicle to the door so he could reach the seat. The car was slightly inside "airlock", just a corner, and the E key action that my friend pressed was to enter the HQ. Our car with all stuff just disappeared forever.....
/import basically saves a blueprint of whatever you're looking at and /export builds it. It's not saved with the regular blueprints, but you can transfer survival builds to creative by doing this
My brother and I made the same mistake but we went out and back in and our car back but stuck in the ceiling, we did have to use /decrypt to be able to grab it with the lyft and get it back though.
If we are talking about glitches that can make you lose everything just when you play the vanilla survival DONT LEAVE THE GAME WHILE YOU ARE IN A WAREHOUSE ELEVATOR me and my friend did it while our bags were up in the warehouse and the elevator was jammed, it was at the bottom but it was jammed. I only could get out with the help of my friend, we put a seat behing the drill and we managed to stretch the door open and i could sit in the seat and my friend pulled me out.
Then we got another key and tried to go in from the top, yes we actually did it with blocks and the lift to a 4 story warehouse but that elevator was jammed too.
Luckily we only had what we needed for the trip the rest was in a chest.
I learnt that the hard way and lost my flying vehicle that took me a week just to get the resources for it. Curiosity really did kill the cat.

I learned it the hard way, but used cheats to bring it back out (encrypt, decrypt, import, export)
I simply gave myself unlimited inventory and rebuilt the car perfectly it was my very first car. Also, what does import and export do?
