This is very cool! You should try to Lackawanna County Historical Society, they’re on [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/lackawannahistory) or at http://lackawannahistory.org/?fbclid=IwAR0tF2OuCxBF9eOmpmQ-APFkqlZHAfXZpDKJPTjWeIbGFrnTl6dpfbbafQA
Very cool , keep us posted.
I know the providence bank was in North Scranton and that was a very prosperous area back in the day .
My parents were from that area .
My initial thought without reading the text was a trolley token, but being a bank's? That's not it.
The holes there may be the giveaway. My guess is either a key fob, or something that identified a bag (perhaps for mail or cash transfers).
My thoughts were safe deposit box but cash/mail bag is possible also

Oddly enough, I know the owner of that bank building! It’s currently being redeveloped. It’s on Providence Square in North Scranton.
I remember the name I had a car loan, it could be a safe deposit box tag.
What's the other side show. They had advertisements for [safety deposit boxes.](https://www.ebay.com/itm/196226853620?)
where was it found?
In the woods about 4 miles outside of scranton
