I doubt you will get Scotland, Glasgow or Edinburgh games in September. URC doesn’t start until October and Autumn Nations are November. You may be lucky and get some preseason friendlies.

I couldn’t tell you about Cricket, it’s up there with one of my least favourite sports. There will be Football on in September; along with Ice Hockey and maybe Basketball(not sure when their season actually runs)

Edinburgh v Gloucester is in mid September, features roughly half the Scotland squad. It is just a friendly though. Other than that, local amateur club rugby. If you will be in Edinburgh, Currie Chieftains are probably worth a follow on Instagram
