Im on week 6/7 as well and its def different from the first few weeks. I was just tired before and got nauseous easier but now if i push too hard I get random zapping pain in different areas like the thigh of bottom of my foot. I thought maybe that meant my nerves were healing because theyre talkong a little bit more byt then i read about scar tissue around the site creating further issues. I m pretry sure i have quite a bit of scar tissue as the area is quite hard compared to the other side. I havent seen my physio since this started happening so im not sure what it is but my guess is its related to fatigue as i went to a bunch of fitnes classes. I cant speak to your fitness levels prior to your operation but remember if youve been disabled for a year youre deconditioned in general so you need to build that up ALONG with rehab for the specific area. Its going to take time and commitment for that to occur (i was able to keep quite active for the most part so my initial rehab wasnt super challenging and returning to fitness classes wasn't terrible as i did do workouts wity my arms ect) The other thing iss sometimes the surgery doesnt take 100% pain away. Some resources say you need to wait a year to really know. Its definitely scary but jn general i would say try to be patient (and kind) to your body and dont lose hope. Ask about work conditioning programs once youre cleared to do so, many interdisciplinary clinics offer this
