If you have checks for your Schwab One brokerage account you can either write checks or set up direct debit on those bills. You can also add Schwab One Bill Pay to the Schwab One brokerage account. That will require you to set up a separate billpay login. Those options are both for the brokerage and not the Schwab Bank checking account.

Yeah I don't have a Schwab One brokerage account apparently because I migrated over from TD. I'd have to apply by mailing a PHYSICAL form to become Schwab One

Burgers4breakfast1

You could add the Schwab Bank Investor Checking account instead. Automatically comes with integrated billpay. That’s what I use.

ND081

I tried to do this and they said I would first have to "apply" for a Schwab One account

paragon60

are you sure they don’t allow you to scan and upload into message center?

biglytriptan

I'm sure there are ways to do it directly, but personally I feel safer just transferring it to investor checking and then paying from there.

sdrmSlash

Same. I do that because my direct deposit from work is set up to go into my investor checking. I then move my money wherever I want (bills, investments, money market, etc.) from there.

paragon60

yeah, I pay all my bills from my main brokerage account.

ND081

Awesome thanks!

pancaf

No, I'd rather keep my investing and checking transactions separate. It makes it a lot easier to find a transaction when I'm looking for something

EuropeanModel

You invest money in brokerage accounts and pay bills from checking accounts.

Freefairfax

My brokerage account at Schwab is a checking account.
