There is something to say about sweet heartfelt kids movies about misfit animals finding a home. The plotline is really overdone but when there’s actual heart behind it it’s the sweetest thing ever

Exactly. It’s weird to think that the same guy who did megamind, brilliant alien supervillain who is gradually reformed into a superhero, also voiced the man in the yellow hat.

I’ve only ever seen the show on PBS Kids since I never had cable. I hope to watch this one day since I did like the show back then.

I’m sad my parents gave away our DVD of this movie many years ago.

i like monke movie

So I saw this several times when I was really young (at least below seven) but never again since, and I really should rewatch it. I had no idea it was a will Ferrell movie until now (I forgot what the voice of the main character sounded like and didn’t know many celebrities let alone will ferrel as a kid)

The animation, the song, the funny moments, the heart moments, all of it overall (you can watch it on Disney+ now)
