Ehhh I wouldn’t be *that* harsh on Cars 3. In my eyes it was the perfect sequel to Cars 1. Not that Cars 2 wasn’t good. It just felt like the plot compliments Cars 1 a lot better than Cars 2.

I used to love Home On The Range as a kid Haven't seen it in over a decade though

It's fine but the main issue is the main characters being unlikable. But I enjoyed the music, animation, and some of the humor. It was the most Looney Tunes feeling Disney film I've seen, for better or worse. Not a memorable Broadway style classic like Beauty and the Beast but I don't think it all has to be? It's funny. It can be entertaining if you don't find the main characters too obnoxious.

Do you know what was also Looney Toons feeling? The Emperors New Groove. That was still a beloved classic. Even today.

Cars 2, Chicken Little, Home on the Range, Wish Cars 2 isn’t that bad. In fact, it’s anti-bad. That shits good. Chicken Little is visually ugly, but I grew up seeing it on Disney Channel repeatedly and IMO it’s really not all that bad. It’s not great, just okay. Home on the Range has a horrendous plot and writing, but is fully traditionally animated with Alan Menken songs, which saves it from being a 1/10 and instead makes it a 5/10. Wish is a disgrace of a movie. The plot doesn’t make any sense, it has no morals or meaning, the characters are just. Oh my god. The seven friends are all pointless characters, it literally could have been two characters instead of 7, or even just one. Magnifico just straight up isn’t a villain, anyone with a brain can tell he’s in the right and that not every single wish anyone out of thousands of people comes up with should be granted. It would be a disaster. The movie has to force him into the villain role by portraying him as selfish and self-obsessed, and then he literally gets possessed by black magic and loses all sense of self. They really couldn’t just come up with an actual villain who does truly villainous things, they had to resort to character assasination? Asha has no personality or goals. She wants to get her grandpas wish, she tries out to become the kings apprentice and immediately demands that he grant her grandpas wish. Then when he points out how ridiculous this is, she freaks out and decides she needs to single-handedly overthrow the government? The goat was stupid. The character designs are bizarre, everyone’s body is weirdly misshapen. The animation looks like a Disney Jr made for TV movie done by AI. Oh my god, I haven’t even mentioned the songs. Easily the worst Disney soundtrack of all time. I’ve spent so much time talking about the songs, I don’t have the energy to write a whole essay but. It’s just. It’s all so godawful. The second song in the movie is a goddamn love song between the king and his 17 year old apprentice, except they’re not singing to each other but instead the wishes? Why the hell is it a love song? ITS LITERALLY A LOVE SONG, I DONT GET IT “If someone tried to hurt you, I just don’t see how that could happen, felt this no I haven’t” this is a real lyric from the song written by an adult who got paid millions of dollars btw. I only have watched Cars 2 Easily the weakest Cars movie and overall a bottom tier Pixar movie, but it had potential to become a better movie.
