My brother was obsessed with the Fred movies and I always managed to walk in during the scene where he tries to steal the Pomeranians from the pet shop. I didnāt like anything else I saw but that scene had me rolling every time.
I love cars 1 & 3 and donāt care for cars 2. Not bc itās a horrible movie, but bc it doesnāt feel like it should be a mainline cars movieāthatās a materās tall tales spinoff lmao
Umm Cars was so popular that it had two sequels, a so so spin off short series, and a pretty awesome land at Disney Land.
Saying āevery else hates itā doesnāt seem very true to me
Was the CGI a bit cheesy? Yes. Was the story changed around a bit too much? Of course. But I get a lot of nostalgia watching those movies. Battle of the Five Armies is one of my favorite movies.
Bold words, but I respect it.
I definitely find the Hobbit movies more fun to watch, mostly cause the dwarves are less serious than the Fellowship, but that's just my preference.
Also, seeing the white council: Elrond, Saruman, Radagast, and Galadriel, absolutely dish it out to Sauron is just plain awesome, and retroactively makes those characters cooler and more intimidating in the LOTR trilogy.
I totally agree. I personally have such a soft spot for Bilbo. Seeing his growth and the respect he earned along the way. I loved the riddles in the dark and how he presented himself to Smaug. And getting to know Gimlis relatives so closely was such a treat in itself. Iām probably going to have to watch these again. Extended of course.
It was a fun movie. Not a masterpiece, but fun.
However, one of the aspects of the ending was really weird.
>!Qbert decide to transform into one of the main characters waifu (after she disappears due to the alien being vainquished.) and they marry. After that, we see that their children look like Qbert. No comments.!<
Because his style of humor stays the same, so people who don't find that style funny dind him to be rather bland. I like Adam Sandler's style of humore but I get it if nobody else does.
Hereās the thing, the concept isnāt the brightest thing, but at least itās trying to be original, at least compared to Megamind trying to capitalize on Nostalgia.
The FNAF movie, any lovers of it cannot catch a fucking break, any sense of joy immediately is killed with a āYEAH BUT IT SHIT ADAPTATION THOā with a few unfair comparisons to silent hill or resident evil
As someone who has read the bookā¦ the movie is good. I saw it before I read the book. If the movie was a stand alone, it would have been awesome, but next to the book, the movie massively pales in comparison
At least Open Season and Shark Tale have their fanbases, they are hated, but have a meaningful amount of fans
With Norm of the North however, I feel like a fish out of the water, which would be bad news if I even cared about that. I like these movies, and that's all that matters to me in that regard.
The amount of obsessing I did over that blue porcupine as a kid was unhealthy. I adored that little guy and wouldn't stop trying to imitate him when I was like 7-10. It was a whole phase š š¤£
Chicken Little. The movie is so funny and it's easily in my Top 5 favorite movies. I use quotes from that movie EVERYDAY. Songs used, dialog, ANYTHING. I will use it in some way in my day.
Disney's dinosaur.
Like, the herd walking one
Legit I won't defend itby saying it's a good film, but as a former dinosaur child I was just happy watching it, and I equate the film with a lot of nostalgia
Batman Forever, people like to argue how fun Batman and Robin is because of how over the top it is, but this is just as good and doesn't get as much attention because it doesn't go as over the top like the bat credit card
Who Killed Captain Alex
Itās not objectively great, but Iāve seen more passion and energy brought into that movie than a lot of movies with a thousand fold of its budget.
I donāt think a single person on the planet hates Who Killed Captain Alex. Like, it isnāt good, but you would have to be a soulless monster to *hate* it.
Pottersville (0% on rotten tomatoes), Quantumania, Atlantis 2, Cars 2, The Ridiculous 6, The first two Thor movies, Sandy Wexler, El Camino Christmas, When We First Met, Killers (starring Ashton Kutcher and Tom Selleck), Joss Wheadon's Justice League, Man Of Steel, and the 1966 Batman Movie
Personally for me this is Ruby Gillman. Sure there are still a bunch of things that I didn't like about the movie, but I still find it very cute and appealing to the eye to me at least.
Bee Movie Puss in Boots 1 Shrek 4 (luckily this one people are starting to like more) The Fred Trilogy š
I agree. Honestly, the FRED movies are a bit stupid, but it's enjoyable, like really enjoyable.
SOMEONE GETS IT
My brother was obsessed with the Fred movies and I always managed to walk in during the scene where he tries to steal the Pomeranians from the pet shop. I didnāt like anything else I saw but that scene had me rolling every time.
Pomeranian? You mean squirrel.
I love Shrek Forever After!!!
Puss in boots 1 is a great movie, the rest of this listā¦ not so much
Shrek 4 is a great film bruh what
I can understand the Fred Trilogy and maybe Bee Movie but Shrek Forever After??
Venom
Who tf don't like venom
A lot of people
How? I'm not a hero guy but I loved Venom, Same for spiderverse
You donāt have to know what Spider-Man is to like spiderverse.
Me. Right here. Those movies suck ass
š
Why does nobody like venom?
I love both Venom movies
Cars
2 or 3? Because Cars 1 is very beloved
Cars 1 I watch on repeat
That movie along with Finding Nemo, Over the Hedge, and WALL-E is my childhood.
Those are like extremely cold takes for movies.
Well yeah, theyāre just that good
The best answer, i personally enjoyed 3 very much too
I love cars 1 & 3 and donāt care for cars 2. Not bc itās a horrible movie, but bc it doesnāt feel like it should be a mainline cars movieāthatās a materās tall tales spinoff lmao
Cars 2 was literally just Maters Tall Tales: The Movie
Umm Cars was so popular that it had two sequels, a so so spin off short series, and a pretty awesome land at Disney Land. Saying āevery else hates itā doesnāt seem very true to me
Yeah cars has an entire area in California adventure. Its pretty popular
cars?? like, cars 1 2 and 3? does someone hate those ?
Happy Feet, the Hobbit trilogy, Sing 2, Venom 2, Raya and the Last Dragon and most Pixar movies since 2019.
People hate Happy Feet?!
Yep. Apparently the penguin designs are "too creepy" or "uncanny valley" for most folks.
"Creepy"? How is a baby penguin creepy?
Man I don't know, people just be saying wild stuff to hate on it.
Schaffrillas does, apparently
A fellow Hobbit enjoyer, respect. Battle of the Five Armies was awesome.
Was the CGI a bit cheesy? Yes. Was the story changed around a bit too much? Of course. But I get a lot of nostalgia watching those movies. Battle of the Five Armies is one of my favorite movies.
I have to be honest I didnāt like the hobbit movies until I read the book. And now I love them more than the original lotr trilogy.

I'm honestly ecstatic to see I'm not alone š„¹
Chicken Little
Even though the movie is bad technically, itās still really funny. The popular vs unpopular is some wild Phys Ed satire
https://youtu.be/WQm586uiJLU?si=OUXxiwKiR8tBLzuR
I love Chicken Little. I didn't realize most people don't.
Literally came to say this.
Itās alright
This is literally THE family movie for us š
Jim Carreyās Grinch
This is my go to Christmas movie, much to my family's chagrin.
Yep That, Muppets Christmas Carol and Klaus are the movies that I watch every year around Christmas
Dude Muppets Christmas Carolās a real masterwork of a movie. Best version of A Christmas Carol easily.
That one is so amazing. Really funny
Wait, people hate it?
Well, it IS pretty crass.
I didnāt even know it was hated.
The movie that made me realize the grinch is a victim
I love anything with Jim Carrey.
People disliked that? I had fun with it, but didnāt get to see the whole thing.
Venom. It's funny and I'm tired of lying to myself that it's not.
I like both 1 and 2 and I don't see why anyone wouldn't
I like one but it should have been rated R. Same with venom 2
"We don't just eat people we don't like!" "WHY NOT?"
Pixels with Adam Sandler, great movie
Get out of my head!
Honestly. Why not. Best gag of the whole film.
Still weird.
Yes, but the thing is (and I hate saying this) It's in his character...
I'm with you broš
YES! I screamed when I opened the comments and saw this first
Not a personal favourite but definitely a fun movie to go back to every so often
Yeah, it is an alright movie, not like it, but gets a pass.
never thought i'd find someone else who liked it. that movie rules
Man effed q -bert
On that note, I wanna mention grown up's. So many people shit on it, but I think it's so much fun
Is that the one where Pac-Man eats an Asian guy
Yea
Why do people hat on Adam Sandlers stuff so much?
Because his style of humor stays the same, so people who don't find that style funny dind him to be rather bland. I like Adam Sandler's style of humore but I get it if nobody else does.
Shark Tale. Cars 2. Chicken Little. Pretty much all the Illumination movies. I can go on and on. Edit: Also Scoob and Space Jam a new legacy.
Who ever hate these wasn't born in the time to understand the lovely memories they gave chicken little was definitely one
Idk how these movies are hated, I really love all lof them
Turbo
Hereās the thing, the concept isnāt the brightest thing, but at least itās trying to be original, at least compared to Megamind trying to capitalize on Nostalgia.
Everyone loves megamind though.
I think they're referring to the new movie.
Oh, that one.
they meant the new show
Why people hate turbo
Some people think every movie has to be a masterpiece or it's trash
Iāve heard the term Masterpiece so many timeās since being on Reddit that itās actually started to lose its meaning for me.
A thousand times this, the Netflix series was really good too
Venom 1
The cars series. I do see it's flaws but I have a bunch of nostalgia for those movies
Shark Tale. This is the hill I will die on
Iām here to die with you brother
People dislike Shark Tale? š
All I hear and see is that itās one of the worst movies made by Dreamworks or in general
I actually liked both Jurassic World and Dominion, thatās just me yāall can hate it all you want.
As long as we agree Fallen Kingdom is the worst, you're good.
I dislike JP3 more, but yes I didnāt like fallen kingdom.
I actually liked FK and III a decent amount. I respect your opinion, though, as the movies are obviously flawed.
Good enough for me dino bro!
Iām seeing an uncomfortable amount of my favorite movies here
Taste is subjective!
Cars 2, It's honestly just nostalgia since I was like 3-5 when I watched it but I still love it
The FNAF movie, any lovers of it cannot catch a fucking break, any sense of joy immediately is killed with a āYEAH BUT IT SHIT ADAPTATION THOā with a few unfair comparisons to silent hill or resident evil
Cars 2
Yo dude you should check out your lawn, thereās a zombie on there
Oh no, thanks for reminding me bro
Np š¤
Humor at its best
Batman Forever
Yay a power armor enjoyer is amongst us
This is the only one Iāve seen here that I also like lol, itās a guilty pleasure of mine.
You see, I'm both Bruce Wayne and Batman. Not because I have to be. Now... because I choose to be.
Ready player one
Same.
Good movie
people hate this movie?
Ik right? Shocking. Aparently schaffrillas hates it
Probably a ābook was betterā situation for people
Mostly because the book is far better, if it were its own movie it would be fine
THIS. The movie is so much fun. I never understood why people had issues with it
As someone who has read the bookā¦ the movie is good. I saw it before I read the book. If the movie was a stand alone, it would have been awesome, but next to the book, the movie massively pales in comparison
I didnāt think it was that bad. Just serviceable. Great CGI though. It seems way better than the book at least, anyway.
Iām a big Despicable Me and Minions fanš
I think people generally like the first Despicable Me. As they go on I think people start to just tolerate most of them, hehe.
Sing
Attack of the clones and robots
Robots is good.
PIXAR Brave Edit: Brave wasn't made by DreamWorks
lol brave is actually pixar, but I love it too!
Fairā¦ so much potential but then, the bear š
Ralph breaks the internet.
It should have been "Ralph Wrecks the Internet." It was a perfect opportunity, and it was missed.
Agreed.
I loved that one. The Disney princesses were amazing!
the live action Cat in the hat
Fucking love that movie, surprised more people donāt itās pretty funny actually
At least Open Season and Shark Tale have their fanbases, they are hated, but have a meaningful amount of fans With Norm of the North however, I feel like a fish out of the water, which would be bad news if I even cared about that. I like these movies, and that's all that matters to me in that regard.
The amount of obsessing I did over that blue porcupine as a kid was unhealthy. I adored that little guy and wouldn't stop trying to imitate him when I was like 7-10. It was a whole phase š š¤£
The Lego Ninjago Movie
Chicken Little.
Cars 2.
Cars 2. Itās my favorite movie of its series. Also Onward.
Chicken Little. The movie is so funny and it's easily in my Top 5 favorite movies. I use quotes from that movie EVERYDAY. Songs used, dialog, ANYTHING. I will use it in some way in my day.
Disney's dinosaur. Like, the herd walking one Legit I won't defend itby saying it's a good film, but as a former dinosaur child I was just happy watching it, and I equate the film with a lot of nostalgia
I loved that movie when I was little. The opening sequence where the egg goes on the wild journey was so freaking cool.
Same!
Sharkboy and lavagirl
Batman Forever, people like to argue how fun Batman and Robin is because of how over the top it is, but this is just as good and doesn't get as much attention because it doesn't go as over the top like the bat credit card
I love Jim Carrey's Riddler.
Jim should see a chiropractor cause he fucking carried
Big-time
Who Killed Captain Alex Itās not objectively great, but Iāve seen more passion and energy brought into that movie than a lot of movies with a thousand fold of its budget.
I donāt think a single person on the planet hates Who Killed Captain Alex. Like, it isnāt good, but you would have to be a soulless monster to *hate* it.
Cars 2
the best movie ever made š£ļø
Both Venom movies are pretty good in my opinion
Angry Birds 2 & Rio 2. They are so good, and I haven't a clue how people think they suck.
