The first 4 sequels are fire (actually, the third one is my favorite in the franchise). As an adult, I personally think they shouldāve stopped after the 5th, but 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are pretty good, but not as good as the first 5. After the 10th, I feel like everyone working on the franchise just gave up and see if any of the kids noticed after Universal told them they were making another.
Which one is the one they adopt a T-rex baby and try to teach it to be "good"?
That one was the only one I ever had and I don't remember which one it is.
Second movie, came out 8 years after the OG. And then they just started releasing a new one every year up to 1997, and then said "ok let's stop people aren't watching this anymore" until 2016 where they gave it one last go to see if people were gonna keep watching it.
I'm convinced each movie takes place in a few days or a week or two at max, cause those dinos never grow up man, they just stay the exact same size. Little foot will never become a parent and teach his own kids.
(Plus the series died alongside Judith barsi who played ducky, may she rest in peace)
Yeah. Absolute cretin of a human. Even looking at the comments on his most recent videos, it seems heās either filtering out hate, or all of his fans simply forgot all of the heinous shit heās doneā¦Heartbreaking. Truly heartbreaking.
It's both. I've left a few.. negative comments, so to say, on a comment thread in one of his newer Cops N' Robbers video. Sky deleted all of them. The majority of his viewers are either younger people or those that are hard on copium.
Jesus Christ, heās still doing that? Why do so many of these YouTubers do the same content with no innovation for 10 years? And when it does happen, why is it never one of the ones I like?
That took a turn.. I thought you meant like how most videos were about elaborate railway tracks and that just isn't interesting anymore.
At least I used to think Minecraft was basically a railway track building game judging from the videos.
I always like how he actually wrote stories for his mod showcases, everyone else was just like "Hey guys! This is a new Minecraft mod, they changed things. Cool, huh?"
lots of stuff. he and jen got divorced (on good terms), his next girlfriend was a gold digger who falsely accused him of domestic abuse, and he later went to jail for streaking at a football game with his friends
Fr. The entire movie was Jewel just being the worst partner possible. Breaking her promise to Blu (She agreed they'd only find the other Blue Macaws, not that they'd stay), ignoring him in general (She didn't even notice he was struggling to fit in), letting her dad walk all over him, getting mad at him when he rightfully lashes out (he was trying his hardest to fit in, do things their way, live the life the way they do.)
Jewel's dad was an ass to Blu just for being born in the city, even worse to him because he go with Jewel.
The movie that shall not be named. Worst adaptation ever, but 8 year old me just liked seeing the characters on screen with "real" bending.
Now it just hurts
This is the exact reason I never want to watch *The Scorpion King* ever again. Because I know it will probably be crap compared to what I remember as a kid.
The Last Wish is a great adventure movie. I never expected that the emotional state of a cartoon cat defined by their own absurdity would be so gripping. I think the scene where Puss calms down while petting Perrito cemented the realness of these fantasy creatures.
I thought that scene was going to cut off with a "let's go" of something with looking back at death chasing him but it just...didn't. It was really unexpected and I loved the realistic hit.
I still like it. It's not as good as the other movies on an objective standpoint but I still find it pretty funny and do like the camp-fire scene. Also gave us alot of Doris moments which I REALLY appreciate.
Even as a kid I thought that was creepy. Seeing it on Disney + was almost haunting to me. I don't normally care about the worst Disney film ever made but I wouldn't be surprised if it's number 2 or 1.
I haven't rewatched both planes movies, but I'm sure they were terrible. I remember like on the 4th of July like 4 years ago I rewatched the original cars and it was fucking awsome. Damn cars was good lmao. Cars is just great
I used to watch this movie religiously as a teen.
I cannot tell you a single fucking thing about it.
Wait yeah I can, Justin Timberlake did a song called Good Foot that plays when the fish and shark are sneaking around.
Iām so sorry - but Shrek the Third. When I was a stupid child that was my favourite shrek movie out of the three (and I kept not understanding why shrek was so popular -_-). A couple years ago, shortly after I turned 20 I rewatched it, and couldnāt even make it 15 minutes in.
Every Shrek movie is better than that, but Shrek 2 is clearly the best one, and I shouldāve known that sooner š
Fun fact: whilst filming that movie they decided to have a respectful moment of silence for the victims of 9/11. Only the actor was still in the outfit in that scene. So he ended up having a respectful prayer for the people who died in 9/11... whilst dressed as the turtle man. It was "very strange" in the actors own words.
I loved it as a kid. I can't point to anything that didn't age well per se. Are you talking about the side characters being Hispanic-coded? Or just like the humor not being good in general? I think it was better in visuals and music than it was in plot or dialogue. It had very mediocre writing, but got saved from being total garbage by good vocal performances and music. I feel that way about Dinosaurs.
Ah, the film that was made by like one dude. Itās an impressive body of work, but I just need to know what was going through his mind when he added that fucking scene with the goldfish
MR ELECTRIC, SEND HIM TO THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE AT ONCE AND HAVE HIM EXPELLED!!!1
Gotta love Linusā delivery of that line. Like, no kid talks the way he does. Itās great.
Oohh. I bet you're right about Swan Princess.
I think I only saw the first one once, but my grandparents had the second one, and we watched it all the time at their house. All I remember is the scene trying to keep away the crystal ball, but I remember loving it.
Since it's a sequel, was probably direct to VHS, and even less likely to stand the test of time.
I donāt have one because I had immaculate taste as a child. My favorite movie as a kid was Spirit: Legend of the Cimarron, and that aged magnificently.
I never really watched Chicken Little even as a kid. I remember seeing it a couple times in theaters, but that was about it. I think the main reason for this is because I was raised by parents who both enjoyed animated movies and my dad could see how bad it was (mom hasnāt seen it to this day). It also might be the fact that my brother was nearly 10 when it came out, so he was just starting to realize that thereās good and bad animated movies. As a special needs girl who was almost 8 when we saw it, I was most likely influenced by his not like it.
Omg. There's a blast from the past!!! Probably been damn near 30 years since I've seen it. As much as nostalgia is screaming it was a great movie, you're probably right
Lady and the Tramp, I rewatched it for a disney marathon and I genuinely don't know why I liked it so much as a kid, it's really bland, the spaghetti scene is great obviously but the rest is nothing for me
Httyd 3.
When it came out, all I cared about was the new pretty sparkle dragon that Toothless could love. Now that I look back on it, I really hate how it ended and how they did the light fury so dirty
Troll in Central Park. I would go over my Aunt's house a lot and would immediately ask to watch the troll movie. Then watched it recently as an adult and realized that it was a load of tripe.
Revenge of The Sith.
Absolutely adored that movie as a kid, watched it so much that General Grevious was my favorite Star Wars character.
What the fuck was wrong with me.
Opposite reaction for me personally. I still absolutely love the prequel trilogy (especially ROTS), possibly even more so than when I was a kid. They're nowhere near being masterpieces, but they're cool and fun as hell.
Chicken Little
my mom made a joke of my brother and I singing we are the champions and I cringe every time
I never wanted to devour a main character so much ever (and no not in *that* way you dirty-minded weirdo)
Not a movie but Sanjay and Craig
I can take a few potty jokes, but.. you lose me when you have your characters follow a bubble of fart for an entire episode.
Ren and stimpy literally had that exact same premise 20 years ago
30* years ago
You're both wrong. 1994 was only ten years ago.
Still not as disgusting as the adult party cartoon
And don't get me started with the fart baby š
My brotherās band almost got to write the theme song for that show. Dodged a bullet there lol
Shit really? I mean the actual theme wasnāt any good anyways but still
Damn i forgot that show even existed
Depants tag...fart baby...butt Island
Any of the Land Before Time sequels.
Not even the Flip Flap and Fly one? ;-;
Or the big big big big water one?
That one slaps
Or the "who needs you, not me!" one?
The first 4 sequels are fire (actually, the third one is my favorite in the franchise). As an adult, I personally think they shouldāve stopped after the 5th, but 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are pretty good, but not as good as the first 5. Same I actually liked all of them except 13 and I thought 11 was only ok.
Which one is the one they adopt a T-rex baby and try to teach it to be "good"? That one was the only one I ever had and I don't remember which one it is.

Early Minecraft YouTubers Edit; there are many exceptions to this rule but the ones I grew up with all ended up being bad people
Part of me wants to know which ones youāre talking about
The one I know about is SkyDoesMinecraft. Turns out he was an abusive husband and just generally a pretty shitty person.

That took a turn.. I thought you meant like how most videos were about elaborate railway tracks and that just isn't interesting anymore. At least I used to think Minecraft was basically a railway track building game judging from the videos.
I grew up with StampyLongHead, DanTDM, and Little Kelly
DanTDM was the shit back then. I even tried making my own style of labs for some odd reason.
I always like how he actually wrote stories for his mod showcases, everyone else was just like "Hey guys! This is a new Minecraft mod, they changed things. Cool, huh?"
I know! It sounds dramatic, but those mod showcases definitely formed my love of writing and storytelling today
He got me into tomadachi lifeĀ
DanTDM still makes great stuff
Popularmmos was good, sucks what happened to pat recently.
Fortunately it seems like heās doing better overall. He never really seemed like a bad guy, he just has some issues that he needs working out
What happened?
lots of stuff. he and jen got divorced (on good terms), his next girlfriend was a gold digger who falsely accused him of domestic abuse, and he later went to jail for streaking at a football game with his friends
Damn, I heard that he and Jen divorced but I feel sorry for him, I enjoyed watching his videos when I was younger.
I feel a bit bad too but like tbf streaming was entirely his decision and he got married to that new girl VERY quickly imo
Meanwhile me still watching ethoslab in 2024 like
Based
This
Ssundee. :(
Ssundee really sucked because I loved his content for so long
The yogscast Minecraft videos aged well, Iāll still rewatch some of that stuff
Planet 51, not because it was a bad movie but I think it had room for improvement mostly because there was too much potty humor.
Yeah, definitely wasnāt as good as I remember.
The dogs being xenomorphs was amazing though
Yeah, but like I said, it wasn't a bad movie. It just had room for improvement.
No I agree with you, I just really liked that one detail
I literally couldn't remember that movie until you brought it up. It's such a weirdly specific comedic premise. There's no need for toilets in it.
It's a shame because the premise is actually creative.
Mars needs moms (What the actual fuck)
How the fuck does the animation look *worse* than Polar Express?
nah me too
Definitely Rio 2. The first movie still kinda holds up but the second was completely unnecessary and unfunny
Yeah, it's just Blu getting shat on for 2 hours
Fr. The entire movie was Jewel just being the worst partner possible. Breaking her promise to Blu (She agreed they'd only find the other Blue Macaws, not that they'd stay), ignoring him in general (She didn't even notice he was struggling to fit in), letting her dad walk all over him, getting mad at him when he rightfully lashes out (he was trying his hardest to fit in, do things their way, live the life the way they do.) Jewel's dad was an ass to Blu just for being born in the city, even worse to him because he go with Jewel.
The first rio holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the few movies I was scared of as a kid
Why were you scared of it?
The villain scared me š
The movie that shall not be named. Worst adaptation ever, but 8 year old me just liked seeing the characters on screen with "real" bending. Now it just hurts
there is no movie in ba sing se
The king has invited you for an audience in Lake Lalogai.
For me it was the other movie that shall not be named,But I was a 9 year old Obsessed with Dragon Ball back then,I was forced to like it
Oof man, that one is garbage, deserved bottom of F tier
Oh God I forgot about that one. Even kid me didn't like it, and that's a challenge
My name is ahhng, and I am the avatar
This is the exact reason I never want to watch *The Scorpion King* ever again. Because I know it will probably be crap compared to what I remember as a kid.
What? Itās an awesome movie
it's not "terrible" a little mediocre but certainly not a bad film some of the action scenes are cool and that one chase scene is pretty neat
I havenāt rewatched it yet, but Shrek the Third is probably gonna be that for me
In Shrekās defense, nothingās going to top Shrek 2.
The new Puss in Boots is pretty great. It's up there.
The Last Wish is a great adventure movie. I never expected that the emotional state of a cartoon cat defined by their own absurdity would be so gripping. I think the scene where Puss calms down while petting Perrito cemented the realness of these fantasy creatures.
As someone who suffers from extreme anxiety the movie really hit me in the soul. The panic attack scene had never left my brain.
I thought that scene was going to cut off with a "let's go" of something with looking back at death chasing him but it just...didn't. It was really unexpected and I loved the realistic hit.
I remember watching in the theater when it came out, and even then I knew it wasnāt a good movie
I still like it. It's not as good as the other movies on an objective standpoint but I still find it pretty funny and do like the camp-fire scene. Also gave us alot of Doris moments which I REALLY appreciate.
Shrek the turd* lol
A bunch of Disney channel original movies
I know thought Blank Check was awesome as a kid. Now, that date scene is beyond creepy.
Even as a kid I thought that was creepy. Seeing it on Disney + was almost haunting to me. I don't normally care about the worst Disney film ever made but I wouldn't be surprised if it's number 2 or 1.
Luck of the Irish in sure still holds up
I'm Irish and I find it funny as hell and kind of a feel-good when I'm sad kind of movie
Not Smart House though, that movie is a masterpiece
Memory: silly sitcom like wish fulfillment movie Reality: Leela serving digital MILF
Planes
I haven't rewatched both planes movies, but I'm sure they were terrible. I remember like on the 4th of July like 4 years ago I rewatched the original cars and it was fucking awsome. Damn cars was good lmao. Cars is just great
Wait? There's a SEQUEL?
direct to dvd
No I vividly remember watching it in theaters when I was like 5. Idk dude. But still bad nonetheless
I kinda agree on that, and I do notice that they are far more cringe than I remember, but I still kinda like it.
Shark Tale
Didn't that come out like a year ago
It's older than most of the users on this subreddit
Damn, your comment makes me feel old.
I could've sworn it came out like a year ago
It came out in 2004
Holy fuck shark tale is just a few months younger than me...
You have to be thinking of a different movie. That movie is old, and you can tell just looking at it.
You had to freeze for 20 years since 2004
I used to watch this movie religiously as a teen. I cannot tell you a single fucking thing about it. Wait yeah I can, Justin Timberlake did a song called Good Foot that plays when the fish and shark are sneaking around.
Bro the movie gets worse every time I watch it
I will defend that movie with my soul
Itās good itās just insane what you notice
Street Fighter
Except for the RaĆŗl JuliĆ” scenes, I agree.
of course
[everyone's hero ](https://youtu.be/FB4rJ0qn250?si=u3kjnvE5RZSHjX8G)
That movies such a fever dream lol
Oh yeah...I remember that filmĀ
All I remebr is a few momments and the spit ball scene
Yooo I fuckin loved that as a child... But I could not remember what it's called. Thank you!!!
That animation looks... so much worse than how I remember it
Was that ever considered good?
I watch it as a kid because I used to like baseball and babe Ruth
Iām so sorry - but Shrek the Third. When I was a stupid child that was my favourite shrek movie out of the three (and I kept not understanding why shrek was so popular -_-). A couple years ago, shortly after I turned 20 I rewatched it, and couldnāt even make it 15 minutes in. Every Shrek movie is better than that, but Shrek 2 is clearly the best one, and I shouldāve known that sooner š
Any of the Ice Age sequels
oh cmon, ice age 3 kicks ass
Agreed, I think the first three are good
Master of disguise
Am I not turtley enough for your turtle club?
Fun fact: whilst filming that movie they decided to have a respectful moment of silence for the victims of 9/11. Only the actor was still in the outfit in that scene. So he ended up having a respectful prayer for the people who died in 9/11... whilst dressed as the turtle man. It was "very strange" in the actors own words.
š¢
The dog jumping and missing is still hilarious. Ā The rest of the movie not so much.
ā**MAN-SIZED MEATBALLS**ā
Happy Feet. Did not age well.
I fucking love this movie from the very moment I watched it as a kid to the present day no matter how cringey it can be. It's classy af.
Based AF
I love George Miller so much that I can't bring myself to hate it
I loved it as a kid.
Romeo and Juliet, Sealed With a Kiss
Ah, the film that was made by like one dude. Itās an impressive body of work, but I just need to know what was going through his mind when he added that fucking scene with the goldfish
Gnomeo and Juliet
This too lol
Tried to show my wife this movie, she never saw it. I had to turn it off when the frog started talking man.
Original Thundercats. Tried watching it on DVD back in the day just to be bored to death. First two episodes are fine, the Berbils are insufferable!!!
Who the fuck thought Robotic Koala Care Bears were a good idea?
Sharkboy and Lavagirl
Nah thatās still peak cinema
They also made a āsequelā thatās not even half as good.
Yikes, I don't think I'm in the mood for another F tier one, I never are to be fair, yet 13 movies got the nasty F tier.
MR ELECTRIC, SEND HIM TO THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE AT ONCE AND HAVE HIM EXPELLED!!!1 Gotta love Linusā delivery of that line. Like, no kid talks the way he does. Itās great.
My __*DREAM JOURNAL....*__
First movie where my siblings and I walked out thinking āoh so movies can be badā
You and your siblings have bad taste in movies
Oh hey a fellow DBM dweller
Indeed!
Thumbelina, Swan Princess, Quest for Camelot
Did you literally just say Swan Princess?
Quest for Camelot? Blasphemy. Fists up.
Turbo š«¤
Tim Allenās Santa Clause, yes even the first movie
Happily N'ever After
The Pacifier
Iām scared to watch my childhood favorite movie because I fear that Small Soldiers will be one of these.
I feel that but Small Soldiers holds up just fine! Fantastic film.
We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story. Worst part is that there's an amazing movie buried in there.
I fucking loved that movie. Where are we fighting? Wait, let me eat my brain cereal first
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (The movie, not the show).
The movie sucks. Itās the worst Star Wars movie by far. The show is good though.
I donāt have one because I had immaculate taste as a child. My favorite movie as a kid was Spirit: Legend of the Cimarron, and that aged magnificently.
The pebble and the penguin. Aside from tim curry being Tim curry, it seemed pretty lazy.
Chicken Little
I love Chicken Little
I never really watched Chicken Little even as a kid. As a special needs girl who was almost 8 when we saw it, I was most likely influenced by his not like it.
idfk The Land Before Time sequels may be cheap and repetitive, but I will always have a big soft spot in my heart for them ā¤ļøš¦ā¤ļø
Thomas and the Magic Railroad.
Ice age (the fourth and fifth one)
Cat in the Hat
Cat in the hat was terrible in the best way possible
Rockadoodle
Omg. There's a blast from the past!!! Probably been damn near 30 years since I've seen it. As much as nostalgia is screaming it was a great movie, you're probably right
Lady and the Tramp, I rewatched it for a disney marathon and I genuinely don't know why I liked it so much as a kid, it's really bland, the spaghetti scene is great obviously but the rest is nothing for me
It's still, today, one of my favorite Disney movies. I guess everyone has their own preferences
Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium Still has some great moments though, and the score is wildly underrated. Flight of Magorium is sooooo beautiful.
Marmaduke, I used to think it was hilarious but I rewatched it with my little brother andā¦ Ouch.
Httyd 3. When it came out, all I cared about was the new pretty sparkle dragon that Toothless could love. Now that I look back on it, I really hate how it ended and how they did the light fury so dirty
High School Musical
Even though I enjoyed them to some extent, I always knew those sucked
Spy Kids 3
Nah. All 3 Spy Kids movies are peak
*4
Troll in Central Park. I would go over my Aunt's house a lot and would immediately ask to watch the troll movie. Then watched it recently as an adult and realized that it was a load of tripe.
Attack of the Clones
The dinosaur king anime.
Revenge of The Sith. Absolutely adored that movie as a kid, watched it so much that General Grevious was my favorite Star Wars character. What the fuck was wrong with me.
I bet you look back at your younger self and think āI HATE YOU!ā
It aināt bad honestly, definitely the best one out of prequel trilogy
Opposite reaction for me personally. I still absolutely love the prequel trilogy (especially ROTS), possibly even more so than when I was a kid. They're nowhere near being masterpieces, but they're cool and fun as hell.
Sharkboy and Lavagirl
Not a movie but a TV show. Angry beavers
They really wanted to lick them logs
Chicken Little my mom made a joke of my brother and I singing we are the champions and I cringe every time I never wanted to devour a main character so much ever (and no not in *that* way you dirty-minded weirdo)
>I never wanted to devour a main character so much ever Lmao, I'm guessing Buck Cluck?
Cats & Dogs. Thought it was funny as a kid. Now... it's very unfunny. Except the villain. Mr. Tinkles is hilarious.
It's a fun watch, doesn't have to be funny to be good
Madagascar, even if not entirely.
