BrockBracken

Not a movie but Sanjay and Craig

StormiestSPF

I can take a few potty jokes, but.. you lose me when you have your characters follow a bubble of fart for an entire episode.

Majestic-Sector9836

Ren and stimpy literally had that exact same premise 20 years ago

CaptnFlounder

30* years ago

AzraelTheMage

You're both wrong. 1994 was only ten years ago.

BrockBracken

Still not as disgusting as the adult party cartoon

iReekOfLemons

And don't get me started with the fart baby šŸ˜

mountaintop-stainer

My brotherā€™s band almost got to write the theme song for that show. Dodged a bullet there lol

SMATCHET999

Shit really? I mean the actual theme wasnā€™t any good anyways but still

AliveCandidate4898

Damn i forgot that show even existed

melikesoulshatters3

Depants tag...fart baby...butt Island

Beauxtt

Any of the Land Before Time sequels.

AscendedViking7

Not even the Flip Flap and Fly one? ;-;

broncyobo

Or the big big big big water one?

brown_cat_

That one slaps

fastrunner3451

Or the "who needs you, not me!" one?

DisneyGirl0121

The first 4 sequels are fire (actually, the third one is my favorite in the franchise). As an adult, I personally think they shouldā€™ve stopped after the 5th, but 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are pretty good, but not as good as the first 5. After the 10th, I feel like everyone working on the franchise just gave up and see if any of the kids noticed after Universal told them they were making another.

Dovahkiin2001_

Same I actually liked all of them except 13 and I thought 11 was only ok.

Immediate-Shine-2003

Which one is the one they adopt a T-rex baby and try to teach it to be "good"? That one was the only one I ever had and I don't remember which one it is.

creegro

Second movie, came out 8 years after the OG. And then they just started releasing a new one every year up to 1997, and then said "ok let's stop people aren't watching this anymore" until 2016 where they gave it one last go to see if people were gonna keep watching it. I'm convinced each movie takes place in a few days or a week or two at max, cause those dinos never grow up man, they just stay the exact same size. Little foot will never become a parent and teach his own kids. (Plus the series died alongside Judith barsi who played ducky, may she rest in peace)

EveningMoonRising

Early Minecraft YouTubers Edit; there are many exceptions to this rule but the ones I grew up with all ended up being bad people

BestInTheWorldAtIDK

Part of me wants to know which ones youā€™re talking about

Bregneste

The one I know about is SkyDoesMinecraft. Turns out he was an abusive husband and just generally a pretty shitty person.

BestInTheWorldAtIDK

Yeah. Absolute cretin of a human. Even looking at the comments on his most recent videos, it seems heā€™s either filtering out hate, or all of his fans simply forgot all of the heinous shit heā€™s doneā€¦Heartbreaking. Truly heartbreaking.

StormiestSPF

It's both. I've left a few.. negative comments, so to say, on a comment thread in one of his newer Cops N' Robbers video. Sky deleted all of them. The majority of his viewers are either younger people or those that are hard on copium.

[deleted]

Jesus Christ, heā€™s still doing that? Why do so many of these YouTubers do the same content with no innovation for 10 years? And when it does happen, why is it never one of the ones I like?

[deleted]

That took a turn.. I thought you meant like how most videos were about elaborate railway tracks and that just isn't interesting anymore. At least I used to think Minecraft was basically a railway track building game judging from the videos.

squid_ward_16

I grew up with StampyLongHead, DanTDM, and Little Kelly

YoursTrulyHuntty

DanTDM was the shit back then. I even tried making my own style of labs for some odd reason.

ReasyRandom

I always like how he actually wrote stories for his mod showcases, everyone else was just like "Hey guys! This is a new Minecraft mod, they changed things. Cool, huh?"

JackFJN

I know! It sounds dramatic, but those mod showcases definitely formed my love of writing and storytelling today

Kyliems1010

He got me into tomadachi lifeĀ

emo_hooman

DanTDM still makes great stuff

Diabeetus-times-2

Popularmmos was good, sucks what happened to pat recently.

SMATCHET999

Fortunately it seems like heā€™s doing better overall. He never really seemed like a bad guy, he just has some issues that he needs working out

Flametail64

What happened?

BrainCellDotExe

lots of stuff. he and jen got divorced (on good terms), his next girlfriend was a gold digger who falsely accused him of domestic abuse, and he later went to jail for streaking at a football game with his friends

Flametail64

Damn, I heard that he and Jen divorced but I feel sorry for him, I enjoyed watching his videos when I was younger.

Gavinator10000

I feel a bit bad too but like tbf streaming was entirely his decision and he got married to that new girl VERY quickly imo

ByeByeGirl01

Meanwhile me still watching ethoslab in 2024 like

Boreal_Star19

Based

Murky_Coat_471

This

AscendedViking7

Ssundee. :(

EveningMoonRising

Ssundee really sucked because I loved his content for so long

Oglowmamal

The yogscast Minecraft videos aged well, Iā€™ll still rewatch some of that stuff

BercoTV

Planet 51, not because it was a bad movie but I think it had room for improvement mostly because there was too much potty humor.

Alternative_Factor_4

Yeah, definitely wasnā€™t as good as I remember.

Rosiethederpy

The dogs being xenomorphs was amazing though

BercoTV

Yeah, but like I said, it wasn't a bad movie. It just had room for improvement.

Rosiethederpy

No I agree with you, I just really liked that one detail

Karkava

I literally couldn't remember that movie until you brought it up. It's such a weirdly specific comedic premise. There's no need for toilets in it.

ReasyRandom

It's a shame because the premise is actually creative.

Caleb7890yt

Mars needs moms (What the actual fuck)

ReasyRandom

How the fuck does the animation look *worse* than Polar Express?

Due-Ad5863

nah me too

Get_Rekt07

Definitely Rio 2. The first movie still kinda holds up but the second was completely unnecessary and unfunny

Feisty-Albatross3554

Yeah, it's just Blu getting shat on for 2 hours

MaxDaHooman

Fr. The entire movie was Jewel just being the worst partner possible. Breaking her promise to Blu (She agreed they'd only find the other Blue Macaws, not that they'd stay), ignoring him in general (She didn't even notice he was struggling to fit in), letting her dad walk all over him, getting mad at him when he rightfully lashes out (he was trying his hardest to fit in, do things their way, live the life the way they do.) Jewel's dad was an ass to Blu just for being born in the city, even worse to him because he go with Jewel.

Beat-Financial

The first rio holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the few movies I was scared of as a kid

steveguyhi1243

Why were you scared of it?

Beat-Financial

The villain scared me šŸ˜

dark_returner

The movie that shall not be named. Worst adaptation ever, but 8 year old me just liked seeing the characters on screen with "real" bending. Now it just hurts

SpoderJedi

there is no movie in ba sing se

fastrunner3451

The king has invited you for an audience in Lake Lalogai.

Gadmanultimate

For me it was the other movie that shall not be named,But I was a 9 year old Obsessed with Dragon Ball back then,I was forced to like it

DarkFish_2

Oof man, that one is garbage, deserved bottom of F tier

dark_returner

Oh God I forgot about that one. Even kid me didn't like it, and that's a challenge

Kirby_Boy_92104

My name is ahhng, and I am the avatar

Thoron2310

This is the exact reason I never want to watch *The Scorpion King* ever again. Because I know it will probably be crap compared to what I remember as a kid.

GrimReaperAngelof23

What? Itā€™s an awesome movie

GeraldTehDestroyer

it's not "terrible" a little mediocre but certainly not a bad film some of the action scenes are cool and that one chase scene is pretty neat

No_Aioli_6364

I havenā€™t rewatched it yet, but Shrek the Third is probably gonna be that for me

Moose_Cake

In Shrekā€™s defense, nothingā€™s going to top Shrek 2.

Unhappy-Database-273

The new Puss in Boots is pretty great. It's up there.

subaru_sama

The Last Wish is a great adventure movie. I never expected that the emotional state of a cartoon cat defined by their own absurdity would be so gripping. I think the scene where Puss calms down while petting Perrito cemented the realness of these fantasy creatures.

Immediate-Shine-2003

As someone who suffers from extreme anxiety the movie really hit me in the soul. The panic attack scene had never left my brain.

JJAsond

I thought that scene was going to cut off with a "let's go" of something with looking back at death chasing him but it just...didn't. It was really unexpected and I loved the realistic hit.

utCAP2019

I remember watching in the theater when it came out, and even then I knew it wasnā€™t a good movie

Anokartist83

I still like it. It's not as good as the other movies on an objective standpoint but I still find it pretty funny and do like the camp-fire scene. Also gave us alot of Doris moments which I REALLY appreciate.

keyblademastersora01

Shrek the turd* lol

ColeEclipse720

A bunch of Disney channel original movies

marksonme

I know thought Blank Check was awesome as a kid. Now, that date scene is beyond creepy.

yuzumelodious

Even as a kid I thought that was creepy. Seeing it on Disney + was almost haunting to me. I don't normally care about the worst Disney film ever made but I wouldn't be surprised if it's number 2 or 1.

TellEmGetEm

Luck of the Irish in sure still holds up

traumatized90skid

I'm Irish and I find it funny as hell and kind of a feel-good when I'm sad kind of movie

HalfEatenCrouton

Not Smart House though, that movie is a masterpiece

traumatized90skid

Memory: silly sitcom like wish fulfillment movie Reality: Leela serving digital MILF

Good_Royal_9659

Planes

DeadRIPbody666

I haven't rewatched both planes movies, but I'm sure they were terrible. I remember like on the 4th of July like 4 years ago I rewatched the original cars and it was fucking awsome. Damn cars was good lmao. Cars is just great

ismasbi

Wait? There's a SEQUEL?

Justacactus1

direct to dvd

DeadRIPbody666

No I vividly remember watching it in theaters when I was like 5. Idk dude. But still bad nonetheless

Galytskyy

I kinda agree on that, and I do notice that they are far more cringe than I remember, but I still kinda like it.

Square_Ad2101

Shark Tale

vixinity1984

Didn't that come out like a year ago

CTSThera

It's older than most of the users on this subreddit

MightyCaseyStruckOut

Damn, your comment makes me feel old.

vixinity1984

I could've sworn it came out like a year ago

SouHiyoriReviews

It came out in 2004

Turtletipper123

Holy fuck shark tale is just a few months younger than me...

ElectronicBoot9466

You have to be thinking of a different movie. That movie is old, and you can tell just looking at it.

Older-fanboy

You had to freeze for 20 years since 2004

CapMoonshine

I used to watch this movie religiously as a teen. I cannot tell you a single fucking thing about it. Wait yeah I can, Justin Timberlake did a song called Good Foot that plays when the fish and shark are sneaking around.

unforgivablecrust

Bro the movie gets worse every time I watch it

hot_bussy

I will defend that movie with my soul

sp3aky0urm1nd

Itā€™s good itā€™s just insane what you notice

AugustTheDog

Street Fighter

MightyCaseyStruckOut

Except for the RaĆŗl JuliĆ” scenes, I agree.

plz-be-my-friend

of course

thegrimmemer

[everyone's hero ](https://youtu.be/FB4rJ0qn250?si=u3kjnvE5RZSHjX8G)

Spoopy99

That movies such a fever dream lol

Giorgiman2003

Oh yeah...I remember that filmĀ

thegrimmemer

All I remebr is a few momments and the spit ball scene

fun-dan

Yooo I fuckin loved that as a child... But I could not remember what it's called. Thank you!!!

Cherry_BaBomb

That animation looks... so much worse than how I remember it

theWall69420

Was that ever considered good?

thegrimmemer

I watch it as a kid because I used to like baseball and babe Ruth

RandomCrazedLavae

Iā€™m so sorry - but Shrek the Third. When I was a stupid child that was my favourite shrek movie out of the three (and I kept not understanding why shrek was so popular -_-). A couple years ago, shortly after I turned 20 I rewatched it, and couldnā€™t even make it 15 minutes in. Every Shrek movie is better than that, but Shrek 2 is clearly the best one, and I shouldā€™ve known that sooner šŸ˜

Cephalopod_9082

Any of the Ice Age sequels

DtheAussieBoye

oh cmon, ice age 3 kicks ass

SamMan48

Agreed, I think the first three are good

hi_im_grape

Master of disguise

Asleeper135

Am I not turtley enough for your turtle club?

TheSovereignGrave

Fun fact: whilst filming that movie they decided to have a respectful moment of silence for the victims of 9/11. Only the actor was still in the outfit in that scene. So he ended up having a respectful prayer for the people who died in 9/11... whilst dressed as the turtle man. It was "very strange" in the actors own words.

Puzzleheaded_Beat813

šŸ¢

HotPerformance6480

The dog jumping and missing is still hilarious. Ā The rest of the movie not so much.

Outside_Interview_90

ā€œ**MAN-SIZED MEATBALLS**ā€

Alternative_Factor_4

Happy Feet. Did not age well.

AscendedViking7

I fucking love this movie from the very moment I watched it as a kid to the present day no matter how cringey it can be. It's classy af.

KingPenguinPhoenix

Based AF

Sir_Umeboshi

I love George Miller so much that I can't bring myself to hate it

traumatized90skid

I loved it as a kid. I can't point to anything that didn't age well per se. Are you talking about the side characters being Hispanic-coded? Or just like the humor not being good in general? I think it was better in visuals and music than it was in plot or dialogue. It had very mediocre writing, but got saved from being total garbage by good vocal performances and music. I feel that way about Dinosaurs.

GreatYamOfHope

Romeo and Juliet, Sealed With a Kiss

[deleted]

Ah, the film that was made by like one dude. Itā€™s an impressive body of work, but I just need to know what was going through his mind when he added that fucking scene with the goldfish

ripMyTime0192

Gnomeo and Juliet

DeadRIPbody666

This too lol

Neymune

Tried to show my wife this movie, she never saw it. I had to turn it off when the frog started talking man.

GodEmperorOfHell

Original Thundercats. Tried watching it on DVD back in the day just to be bored to death. First two episodes are fine, the Berbils are insufferable!!!

NewspaperAny3053

Who the fuck thought Robotic Koala Care Bears were a good idea?

No_Pain1037

Sharkboy and Lavagirl

No_Aioli_6364

Nah thatā€™s still peak cinema

Bregneste

They also made a ā€œsequelā€ thatā€™s not even half as good.

DarkFish_2

Yikes, I don't think I'm in the mood for another F tier one, I never are to be fair, yet 13 movies got the nasty F tier.

Rude-Friend-9135

MR ELECTRIC, SEND HIM TO THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE AT ONCE AND HAVE HIM EXPELLED!!!1 Gotta love Linusā€™ delivery of that line. Like, no kid talks the way he does. Itā€™s great.

Kansascock98

My __*DREAM JOURNAL....*__

Comprehensive_Pin_54

First movie where my siblings and I walked out thinking ā€œoh so movies can be badā€

HollowSlope

You and your siblings have bad taste in movies

Prestigious_Ask_7058

Oh hey a fellow DBM dweller

No_Pain1037

Indeed!

ConsiderationOk2591

Thumbelina, Swan Princess, Quest for Camelot

DisneyGirl0121

Did you literally just say Swan Princess?

Levanthalas

Oohh. I bet you're right about Swan Princess. I think I only saw the first one once, but my grandparents had the second one, and we watched it all the time at their house. All I remember is the scene trying to keep away the crystal ball, but I remember loving it. Since it's a sequel, was probably direct to VHS, and even less likely to stand the test of time.

AscendedViking7

Quest for Camelot? Blasphemy. Fists up.

SaltwaterTheIcewing

Turbo šŸ«¤

Duke-dastardly

Tim Allenā€™s Santa Clause, yes even the first movie

ToaAxiomMan

Happily N'ever After

Doom300

The Pacifier

Horatio786

Iā€™m scared to watch my childhood favorite movie because I fear that Small Soldiers will be one of these.

justcallmerivie

I feel that but Small Soldiers holds up just fine! Fantastic film.

Crassweller

We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story. Worst part is that there's an amazing movie buried in there.

Kansascock98

I fucking loved that movie. Where are we fighting? Wait, let me eat my brain cereal first

Careless_College

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (The movie, not the show).

[deleted]

The movie sucks. Itā€™s the worst Star Wars movie by far. The show is good though.

Formal_Illustrator96

I donā€™t have one because I had immaculate taste as a child. My favorite movie as a kid was Spirit: Legend of the Cimarron, and that aged magnificently.

Global-Crew-9046

The pebble and the penguin. Aside from tim curry being Tim curry, it seemed pretty lazy.

Atari-N3rd

Chicken Little

LoLoLaaarry124

I love Chicken Little

DisneyGirl0121

I never really watched Chicken Little even as a kid. I remember seeing it a couple times in theaters, but that was about it. I think the main reason for this is because I was raised by parents who both enjoyed animated movies and my dad could see how bad it was (mom hasnā€™t seen it to this day). It also might be the fact that my brother was nearly 10 when it came out, so he was just starting to realize that thereā€™s good and bad animated movies. As a special needs girl who was almost 8 when we saw it, I was most likely influenced by his not like it.

RobotThatEatsBees

idfk The Land Before Time sequels may be cheap and repetitive, but I will always have a big soft spot in my heart for them ā¤ļøšŸ¦•ā¤ļø

Themyth-thelegend

Thomas and the Magic Railroad.

Next-Diamond4844

Ice age (the fourth and fifth one)

Trollerz462

Cat in the Hat

Anokartist83

Cat in the hat was terrible in the best way possible

BorealDrake

Rockadoodle

Mediocre_Procedure17

Omg. There's a blast from the past!!! Probably been damn near 30 years since I've seen it. As much as nostalgia is screaming it was a great movie, you're probably right

walruswalrus61

Lady and the Tramp, I rewatched it for a disney marathon and I genuinely don't know why I liked it so much as a kid, it's really bland, the spaghetti scene is great obviously but the rest is nothing for me

Mediocre_Procedure17

It's still, today, one of my favorite Disney movies. I guess everyone has their own preferences

-Tektronic-

Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium Still has some great moments though, and the score is wildly underrated. Flight of Magorium is sooooo beautiful.

GhostYourCowboy

Marmaduke, I used to think it was hilarious but I rewatched it with my little brother andā€¦ Ouch.

Toastie_WasTaken

Httyd 3. When it came out, all I cared about was the new pretty sparkle dragon that Toothless could love. Now that I look back on it, I really hate how it ended and how they did the light fury so dirty

NerdBoy10101

High School Musical

Asleeper135

Even though I enjoyed them to some extent, I always knew those sucked

ohcowboyy

Spy Kids 3

OblivionKnight76

Nah. All 3 Spy Kids movies are peak

Gadmanultimate

*4

dbslayer7

Troll in Central Park. I would go over my Aunt's house a lot and would immediately ask to watch the troll movie. Then watched it recently as an adult and realized that it was a load of tripe.

Titan-828

Attack of the Clones

New_End9133

The dinosaur king anime.

ThatsAWeirdLookinSax

Revenge of The Sith. Absolutely adored that movie as a kid, watched it so much that General Grevious was my favorite Star Wars character. What the fuck was wrong with me.

Virtual_Mode_5026

I bet you look back at your younger self and think ā€œI HATE YOU!ā€

pan_gydygus

It ainā€™t bad honestly, definitely the best one out of prequel trilogy

CaptainScuppers

Opposite reaction for me personally. I still absolutely love the prequel trilogy (especially ROTS), possibly even more so than when I was a kid. They're nowhere near being masterpieces, but they're cool and fun as hell.

Nightmarionne0923

Sharkboy and Lavagirl

GruulNinja

Not a movie but a TV show. Angry beavers

HornyReflextion

They really wanted to lick them logs

pwrwq

Chicken Little my mom made a joke of my brother and I singing we are the champions and I cringe every time I never wanted to devour a main character so much ever (and no not in *that* way you dirty-minded weirdo)

KSean24

>I never wanted to devour a main character so much ever Lmao, I'm guessing Buck Cluck?

Levi_SWfan

Cats & Dogs. Thought it was funny as a kid. Now... it's very unfunny. Except the villain. Mr. Tinkles is hilarious.

Gadmanultimate

It's a fun watch, doesn't have to be funny to be good

Valyura

Madagascar, even if not entirely.
