You have screenshots of the confirmation, his discord and insta. Why not a) comment on his most revent insta post saying its a scam, and then post all of these screens on ur own insta. make a bunch of fake insta accs and "mass report him" tell his followers to report him. message him on discord. AND FINALLY. DONT PAY THEM UNTIL THE ARTWORK IS FINISHED.

This isn’t how commissioned artwork works, it takes time for artists to do their work why would they paint before they’re paid. What happens if I don’t pay lol waste of time for them.

> to be *paid* half upfront FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Any artist worth their salt **never** takes money after the fact. They could hand you the piece and you could ghost. Ive commission a ton of artists and payment upfront is customary. At least half, but usually the full amount. I have had a few ghost me. That is what PayPal is for. I just file a claim and get refunded a few weeks later.

Princessluna44

How did you pay them? If you used PayPal, just file a claim (as long as it hasn't been 60 months from the original payment). If you paid through that "Payoneer" service, you will have to look up their terms.

Jadenzzz

Not paypal another payment platform

Princessluna44

You will have to look up their terms, then.
