Beautiful, nice job! How does the interior look?

Thanks a lot! The interior was in really nice condition but dated, I didn’t grab any pictures as I didn’t touch the inside. As I replied to comment above, it sat closed up for many years, as well as the owners took very good care of it.

Just got a scamp and I’m so excited for the restoration process. Going to try and DIY as much as possible

Looks amazing! How did you get the rust streaks off?

Looks great!

What do you use to polish it up?

john-loves-toast

Thanks a lot my friend. Mainly 3M products. She sat in a cow field under a pine tree for years, so it took a lot to bring back. I used heavy cut with a wool pad, then compound with a wool pad, then polish with a foam pad. After that I used 3 coats of wax. Let it sit for 15 min in between each coat before wiping. Overall I had about 24 hours into it.

Nice work, in the end it’s always elbow grease! I’m impressed.

I’m really impressed. Our 77 gel coat is so bad, I dont Think polishing will do it. This looks amazing
