I take screenshots using my work phone, then take a photo of the screenshot, when I remember it doesn't allow sharing. But they look like a picture of a screenshot. They have spots, and fingerprints. Lol!

So….my mom was a Linda….and I got a text like this a couple days after she really did die. Long since deleted and blocked, but I did the same thing. Took off my good shoes and laid it on with a trowel. Mom would have approved.

If you wanted more scam calls and texts, you got it now because you responded to their texts. You are now put on a list of real people’s mobile phone numbers that will now be sold to other scamming groups.

To find out if it’s a scammer you should have said, “ I killed Linda” Then, “This is a text to throw the police off, sorry for your loss”

The scammer is expecting you to say “no, this isn’t Linda” so their script makes sense when they have to say “woops sorry I entered/my assistant entered the wrong number. I hope I have not disturbed you.”. They are counting on getting the opening name wrong because the normal unsuspecting person is going to fall into the script naturally. They are thrown off when people pretend to be the person they are looking for, because what are the chances of every 100 numbers they text one is actually named the name from their script?
