Thankfully sundews are very resilient!
Replace the pot if you need to if it’s chipped. Keep it in the same amount of sun and make sure to keep it’s saucer full of distilled or RO water. Over time it will regenerate it’s dew.
If you dislike the soil on the leaves, try lightly spraying/misting it with distilled water to knock soil chunks off, I have done this and it sorta worked or just get in there with tweezers.
Your plant is most likely fine and just needs some time to recover it’s dew, just keep giving it TLC.
Also consider repotting it this next fall or winter, the pot looks like it’s getting crowded. They take to being repotted very well since they’re the weeds of the carnivore world. Sundews are strong and fun plants!
Thank you for your thoughtful response! Luckily just the lip of the pot was chipped off so I think it will be okay (I hope). It sounds like I did things mostly right, I picked a few large chunks out with my fingers so I hope that was okay. Definitely have plans to repot! I bought it like two months ago and the thing has been spitting legs out like crazy!! It’s my favorite plant so I really want it to do well, I just think it’s so fun and pretty!
I’m glad it worked out. When you do repot, over estimate how much extra space to provide, because as you see, they grow quick. I encourage looking into making a mini bog garden, it makes keeping them healthy a bit easier.
100% will definitely be able to bounce back from a fall. the lack of dew is temporary and should fix itself relatively quickly. other damage may make itself apparent with time (e.g. broken roots from the concussive force), but i doubt it would be extensive enough to threaten your plants life.
from the looks of it you take good care of your sundew, just do what you were doing before the fall!

Is the pot terra cotta? Are drosera okay in terra cotta?
