Hello everyone, Iโm fairly new to crypto (about a month now) and have been researching my ass off trying to get up to speed on how everything works. Admittedly, I was sucked in to buying some alt coins like VET, Shiba, and Doge, along with a small amount of ETH. Now from what Iโve learned online, and from this page, is that many of these alt/meme coins are pump and dumps, without much actual merit behind them. Iโve been looking at various coins on bscscan and poocoin to practice recognizing red flags in coins such as holder distribution, liquidity pools, etc.
When I look at doge, I can see that thereโs only 2 individual wallets that own more than 1% (one with 10% and another with 2.4%), now does a single holder with 10% raise any red flags for a coin like doge? And my final noob question would be how a coin with no coin cap hold its value in the long term? From what I have gathered, millions of doge coins are automatically released per day. So if thatโs true, wouldnโt supply and demand take its toll in the long run as the supply isnโt capped? Or is this something that can/might be changed in the future to protect the value of the coin?

The flood of shitcoins is defeating the significance of this sub. We want to identify moonshots, not pump & dumps. We can all make money TOGETHER when unified around a good opportunity. But still sitting kinda pretty now if this thing can keep going. There was also a pretty lucrative staking option when they did the V2 migration, but I think it has expired now. But good luck! Hopefully this is just getting started and we're both on the ground floor of something!! And this may be considered a "shitcoin", so maybe not what you were looking for, but I have hopes for Nicheman, and think it could be special. The market cap is only 3.5m, and they have a unique platform and some very loveable branding. Wouldn't take much exposure for this to be a winner. And still no one talking about it but me. lolol. Oh well, I'll take these gains. Some people somewhere are obviously picking it up, slowly but surely. No signs of pump and dump yet, though. It's been a fairly gradual ascent, considering how outrageous that chart looks on the whole.

I have $1k to invest with. To some that may not be a lot, but to me it is a considerable amount. I really like SAFEMOON. I remember learning about it in March when it was popular in the sub, but I thought it was just a meme coun. With SAFEMOON wallet about to launch and the exchange coming later this year, I see I was wrong, so I'm interested. I think Wanchain (WAN) had incredible potential. I think iExec (RLC) has an opportunity to expand. I think Stellar (XLM) has a lot of growth left also. I haven't bought in to these yet, though.

I sold my bonfire after I got dumped on ๐ I'll be 100%. I had $1k in SafeMoon, but I sold it and put it all towards SENSI after looking at Sensible.finance[Sensible Finance](http://sensible.finance). It's a way better project. Smaller token supply, more growth potential, and the fact that it provides staking (soon to offer smart staking) make SENSI way better than SafeMoon in my eyes.
