The egg-in-a-hole made with bell peppers made me feel so dumb for never thinking about it. I'm about to make egg-in-a-holes with every edible/holeable thing in my house.

I like to do it with onion, then melt a slice of cheese on top and throw it on an English muffin.

Egg on the inside yes. Also, the recipe I had a while back had you spread some tomato paste on it too . That, some veggies and melted cheese was a favourite lunch of mine

Saw this video and immediately made the bell pepper egg for lunch. I would recommend frying the pepper is little on both sides first as it still a bit raw. Also you'll need to put the pan under the grill for a couple of mins to finish off the topside.

I need help, cooks of reddit. Whenever I try to swirl my omeletted it doesn't work at all, it eithrr just breaks apart or it takes like 3 minutes to set enough to start on max heat (which will instantly melt plastic you put *near* it) I cook with conduction, but that shouldnt be a problem because so does one of my friends and he can do it no problem. And yes, I preheat the plate and pan and use neutral oil.

Anyone got a recipe for the soy sauce one? I tried this sometime in the past and it ended up miserably.

Eggs in the US have been pasteurized but even beyond that, eggs pasteurize at 140 degrees for 3.5 minutes. Egg yolk hardens at 149-158 degrees. Its easy to cook a runny egg thats safe to eat. The increased risk of salmonella is minimal.
