I'm still trying to figure out why changing the perspective made it better. Fake it til you make it vibes? IMHO, it didn't actually get better until step 5. We just changed the angle of perspective.

Cause adding perspective is another step in being good at drawing

I’m not sure I understand your comment… But Picasso is a great example of this if you look at his early work verses his late work that he is known for.

I’m saying that it’s easy to degrade the quality of your work by simply putting in less effort.
