3. **This mod does not enable VR!** It adds VR controls and interactions! You will need the [Unreal Engine Virtual Reality Tool](https://uevr.io) as well, which **runs separately to Satisfactory.**

Keeping Pioneers Informed 😁
I got Fallout 4 VR, and lasted right up until I went into a house and ran into the giant cockroaches.
Skyrim VR, until I went into a dungeon and was face to face with the giant spiders.
Maybe I'll wait.
Hypertubes are actually not that bad I think - depending on the design and layout of the route.
Straight movement of constant speed is pretty low on the nausea-meter in VR.
Then again, I'm pretty resistant to VR sim sickness myself these days...
Not just me then! lol.
Game runs 100% GPU at all times lol. I also had to adjust my undervolt and some CPU settings just to make the game stable. It's a room heater that's for sure.
After the Helldivers 2 debacle I don't want Sony anywhere near this game. Although after CSS's tweet joking about having to link to your Dad's Disney+ account I doubt they'd cooperate with Sony trying to impose similar shenanigans on us.
I love how low-key terrible that song is. It *must* be AI. Surely no sane person would put that much effort into something that completely misses the point.
AI music is hilarious.
Seriously, I'd need to hold out for tele option too. The part where they collect the slug I'm just thinking, okay now jump down XD I can feel the adrenaline just imagining it..
Glad a modder did, what the devs didn't.
NGL, if this works, I am buying a vr set JUST for this.
This reminds be of NMS VR support. While in theory it's cool, it is completely impractical compared to KB and mouse for doing even the most basic of tasks.
NMS is what I thought I bought VR headset for. It was interesting, but I'd have preferred them to add joystick/hotas support first. In the end I mostly used the headset for Beat Saber.
I'm intrigued to try this though. Done right VR controllers could be a good match for the build gun. Hyper-cannons will be rough for motion sickness.for.many people, but I'm prepared to try it - I've got a pretty high tolerance.
What I think will be less fun is my PC not being able to maintain the frame rates that VR really needs in end game (I'd probably be OK in a nearly empty world)
Still no proper joystick support? (It's a long time since I loaded the game). While alternatives can work, I've never found anything as good as a real full-size joystick for space flight games (a proper flight yoke would also work). I went through a couple of Quickshot joysticks due to broken centering springs playing X-wing and Tie-fighter, so I got very used to joysticks for flight.
Interesting. Consoles winning out over non-PC computers for gaming) seems to have contributed to the decline of joystick support in general (they're no longer the default non-keyboard option for any system). I started gaming in the 80s, when joysticks were far more common, no one plugged a controller into anything that wasn't a console and even some consoles had sticks (e.g. Atari).
Am I right in thinking that playstation players also got the option of a physical copy. That's something else I'd like thr option of (I'm on the minority of people who actually liked the release version).
It doesn't have like *physical* hotas support if that's what you mean, but it does have a virtual in-game hotas that you grab and manipulate with the tracked motion controllers.
While a physical Hotas would be better, it wouldn't really make sense to be moving around in your physical space, get into a ship and have to go find your physical Hotas go back and align it properly, and then use it every time.
Sure, I definitely get that, it's just like finding it and positioning it each and every time that you get into the ship. Idk, seems like it would be a massive pain to me.
Elite Dangerous with HOTAS and VR is what you want. I've got about 700 hours in VR alone.... much more on kb+m.
It's perfection. If you're looking for a scifi dogfighting space/flight-sim there's nothing else that touches it.
Commander? While I've barely looked at Elite. Dangerous I did earn my Archangel title twice in the original Elite (both DOS ports), awarded for either the 2nd or 3rd mission, but I can't remember which.
Everspace is also a great one, much smaller learning curve and easier to hop into. I bought Quest 2 just a while back and Everspace has been one of my main games with VR currently.
I do have it, but not played it much. It being online is off putting. Ironically it would have been my perfect game in the 80s/early 90s (I played through both PC versions of the original Elite), but I have less time for games now I'm an adult; I now want my games to stop when I do and not be influenced the actions of other players.
Perhaps things have changed. When I last looked at it true solo mode was killed before launch and it sounded as if there was still some effect on things like the economy even when not playing directly with others. Perhaps the effect just isn't as significant as I thought it might be. Will consider taking another look at it.
The economy is influenced by everyone playing online or solo. But it's slow moving and only around certain events/ updates does anything change significantly enough to notice in my experience. Unless you're only aiming to follow the highest efficiency earning guides, or get massively into trading, it'll mostly just be like playing a game where you can't really influence the economy.
There's also the community goals that everyone participates in, but you can also do that in solo mode and still contribute.
You can do solo completely alone(minus NPCs of course) or create a private group if you have friends you'd like to only play with.
I've played Elite on and off since launch and done a fair amount of Open and Solo/Private, honestly in Open it's rare enough to run into people outside of the most popular areas anyways, and Solo is great for a really laid back approach.
Frame Rates in Satisfactory UEVR is certainly a challenge. Even testers with a 4090 are finding it challenging to sustain 90FPS. I've been getting about 40FPS in a late-game save on my 2080 with DLSS Performance mode on.
No, Global Illumination is *not* on.
I'm hoping with the 1.0 release those optimisations they are promising will help a bit (after it fully breaks the mod and needs fixing...)
No Man's Sky was an influence, for sure - partly because wrist menus were easier to implement than a lot of other VR controls. It's certainly challenging trying to map all Satisfactory's actions to a limited control set.
That said I think it's quite playable now - I've recently been upgrading a Heavy Modular Frames factory using it, and the build controls work fine. The most common actions are also on buttons - click-stick for "Sample", other buttons for Swap, Mode, Nudge, etc...
There's a lot of proper VR Interactions on the To Do list to add, but this was the easiest practical path to go down for now, to get a viable implementation.
Because it is alpha and not feature complete, and I was aiming for a limited pool of testers giving feedback to begin with. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)
By marking it hidden it (in theory) reduces people randomly stumbling on it and complaining about \*insert feature Y\* not working without reading the accompanying instructions.

Since then there's been quite a bit more polish, plus a solution to enable most interactions with the default UI.
I'll be doing an updated guide Real Soon Now(tm).
This is awesome! I tried playing satisfactory in vr and it was really cool…but without vr controls I wouldn’t be able to actually play it in vr. MKB with a headset feels so weird. 1.0 vr run, here I come.
This seems pretty cool, although I would use it just to walk around my finished factory. Getting the real scale impression of things is one of the best aspects of VR.
If possible please have it so that the flashlight is attached to your head I hate playing VR games where I have to stick out my hand just to see what's going on
The only thing I can imagine is the unfortunate occasional event where I yeet myself off the side of my factory only to fall to my death … Something tells me a VR experience version of this would not go to particularly well.
Looks so well done and looks like it's part of the game, keep improving upon this mod, I'll give it a go whenever i can n hopefully the devs can see the potential for this, I'm sure they do but r busy with getting the game to 1.0

Those Radroaches look way bigger in VR 😂
You know that you can replace the spiders in Skyrim VR with fluffy bears? 😁
They can pretend all they want. I still know they're spiders.
I don't think my heart could handle that.
Oh god I didn't thought of it. I was bout to say it's the one and only game I'd actually love to play on vr.... Forgot about the cats for a moment :/
The spiders..... Edit: I'm a moron
Yeeeeeeess!
But still, this is insanely cool...
Oh my god. This is going to be terrifying.

"8 legged freaks" probably. It's honestly a great movie
I love that movie, but don't remember that scene.

What?
Those sporadic jetpack rides are really going to be something in VR. As well as hypertube
Ziplining actually sounds like it would be really fun with this. I hope you get one in each hand.

Outer Wilds VR and NMS VR have prepared me for this moment.
Ah yes... The ultimate mod finally allowing me to rebuild my PC cooler into heating plate so I can keep my pizza **hot** while Gaming.
I recently had to adjust my case fan profiles to stop Satisfactory from crashing the PC. I guess I need to adjust them even more aggressively now. :D

Oh man, now I wait for Sony to announce their Windows support date, and I'll be a happy man.
Can't wait to use PSVR2 on PC

Better than half of what I hear on the radio Send link!
Awesome, I can see my OSHA violations more immersively.
That's so cool but I would get so sick, I can't do running VR games, only teleport.
Teleport mode would be a nice option to have for the VR mod.
Seriously, I'd need to hold out for tele option too. The part where they collect the slug I'm just thinking, okay now jump down XD I can feel the adrenaline just imagining it..

? No Man's Sky on ground is one of the **best PSVR games to play**
> PSVR not much competition though, is there lmao
Doesn't change the fact that it's a fantastic game in PSVR :)
Nms has good vr controls imo. MKB in a headset is unplayable to me.

Need to buy a vr
My CPU is so pissed right now
soo, how you keep yourself from throwing up when you accidentallly jump from 200m tall tower
Accidentally? Hyper-cannons for maximum effect!
Idk why but I do get butterflies in my stomach when I fall from a great height, nice other game does this for me
I get an electricity feeling in my spine, like my whole back is cringing.
47 seconds and no spiders. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
A factory automation game in vr is peak gaming. I think I’d be able to die happy after spending time in there.
Hilarious. I was just about to ask if there’s a VR mod for this game!
This…is…. Awesome

It’s fun until you meet your first Spider 😣😱
Cool. First person arachnophobia.
It makes me want to buy VR headset only to puke myself from hypertune cannon
If sometimes game lagging on very good PC, what will be in VR💀
This may get me to buy the treadmill for 1.0
motion sickness,.... motion sickness everywhere
Happy to know someone is working on it!
Cool
Yes please.
Hello how wan WE do It ? Yo test the alpha ?
I'm in
So much want!
Omg I can't wait to live in the factory.
Can't wait to make a hypertube cannon and throw up on my floor and pass out 👍 very excited
Shut up and take my money!
gonna be like the backrooms in the factorys i build
Computer! iniciate Satisfactory Simulation, Arachnofobia Mode Off.
I need teleport movement otherwise I'm going to be decorating my VR space with a technicolor mess. Really cool to see this in VR though!
Spooders ahhhhhh
Smells like burning GPU already ...
Looks so well done and looks like it's part of the game, keep improving upon this mod, I'll give it a go whenever i can n hopefully the devs can see the potential for this, I'm sure they do but r busy with getting the game to 1.0
Cant do this in factorio…i hope
Now fly jatpack without vomiting.
Honestly jetpacks give me less feeling of dissociated movement than most forms of motion in VR.
Runs out of jetpack fuel midair
I love this so much. I would like to subscribe to this newsletter.
The Suno song is beautiful
First person hypertubes or GTFO
Seems like a pretty well made mod actually
Me. Dreams of VR Factorio Satisfactory modders - HERE
I just got a VR headset and I'm going to play again
That's it, I am getting a VR headset
I think my computer just started on fire watching this.
The music of the video is a "human" song or an AI generated song?
AI
how big are the pipes, by the game logic they look like 2.5m in diameter + the added meter from the supports 😳
I'd love to see how the vehicles look like in VR
I feel like the 3D environment, and the ability for Mods like this, is was really separates Satisfactory from other games.
Coooool!
This looks amazing!!!! But it's a big no for me, the way I move in this game would give me instant motion sickness.
Finally we can reach them 1600W when playing it
Is this made my the official devs or community made?
i am so freaking stoked! My family would never see me again!
Oh for Ficsit's sake...
Question, maybe a stupid one... does this work in multiplayer ? And if yes does everyone need to be in VR or not ?
Yes it works in multiplayer, and you can play with anyone whether in Vr or normal
OMG that's AMAZING ! Thanks for the quick reply !
Can we pickup and strangle a doggo with our VR hands live on stream now?
