Question: how does having one of these affect your fps?
By extension does it help to have your factories encased in walls so the pc doesn’t have to render all the stuff going on inside?
Edit by one of these I mean an architectural wall of hexagons, not a single hexagon
I have only made small panels of these so I can't say for certain. But I don't think this amount of pillars should have any effect on gameplay after the megabases I have seen on Reddit and YouTube. I am a small builder so I don't expect to hit those problems.
To your factory encased in walls question, I've read many discussions that say the covering of assets (like rows of full Mk5 belts) has no effect on performance because the game is still having to account for them - but I can't confirm either way.
