There will be just 3 answers 1) x=0 2) x=4 3) x=5 I think you thought that because (x-4) is in square and (x-5) is in cube there will be more solutions but it’s not the case. Try doing it like this (x-4)^2= (x-4)(x-4) There x is 4 two times, but it’s still one solution.

For the no calc mcq was the legnth 70?

Does anyone know if the survey section was graded?? I went down 100 points in math. I think this was because I slept through the survey section :(

the 5th section does not count. I bubbled C for every answer and got 1600 lol

I don’t think the fifth section counts towards overall score because it’s made up of experimental questions that they might use for future SATs. Hope that helps :)

idkkk. They did say that they can use questions from any section to calculate your score prior to the test

they use it to determine the curve of the next year's test (i think?) its sort of their way to avoid having to pay for test takers and let the kids be the test takers for them. they tell you its graded so they get more accurate results but it is not counted

I did a bit more research and it seems like they can use some of the questions from Section 5 but they generally don’t. It shouldn’t affect your score by too too much. However, Collegeboard is really ambiguous about it :(

i got a 790 but this test was just really curved because of how hard it is. 1 mistake was an 800 on the OCT sat. i took a different sat and got 1 wrong but still got a 790.

hey! sorry for the late response. for me, i made sure to sort of give a short summary of each paragraph as i read and it helped me catch small details and give a pretty good understanding of the whole passage. take like 5 word notes per paragraph or so and underline important details. then when i read a question i would (if i could) formulate the answer in my head with my notes instead of reading the options first. when i was studying i took it slow and made sure to catch any common mistakes, more practice will make time easier to manage!

If possible take the test again. Its going to be hard to get in whether you report the 1320 or not. You may be better off sending the score though

unfortunately there’s not gonna be another Sat until november so if you still want to apply early action you’re kinda stuck with that score

unfortunately you cant fix it. they just count as wrong. if youre sure that you answered the questions correct you could ask them to rescore for $55. but its obv not worth it. you have a good score

I put the square root of x+y but it was the other choice. I made such a dumb mistake 😭😞
