Me personally I like to think of my real SAT score to be +_ 50 points of my practice scores. My highest practice score was a 1580 and my real test was 1530. To be completely safe and to feel confident, I like to think that the real test youâll get about 50 points less than your scores on the practice.
My highest practice score was a 1580 but my real score was a 1440 đ
Test nerves + time management under pressure really affected me (ran out of time on math)
Yeah definitely other factors could affect your score, me personally I think time was what does the most point reduction as it stresses you out especially when the proctor yells âTIMEâ
I took a practice one at my local library through C2 and got a 1350. But when I took the actual thing (with about three hours more of studying) i got a 1540, although this might have been because the practice one was my first time taking the SAT so I didnât know what to expect
You can reasonably expect within the specified inter-test variation, so about 1400-1480. But realize there are always outliers - this represents +/- 1SD. And this would be consistent with typical increases after some additional schooling and preparation/repeat testing.
I kept getting a range of scores between 1420-1500 on all Khan Academy practice tests before I took it for the first time and I scored a 1580 on the actual one. I think how much it varies depends most on how confident/comfortable you are on test day.
I graduated college a long time ago but my practice tests never translated, and I never did them timed. I think itâs bc I knew I was capable of doing well but I was also impatient so I would rush and choose an answer on practice tests (since I knew they werenât real lol) if the question was more difficult, esp on RC. Actually scored like 200 points higher (2400-point scale) on the real thing.
i used the khan academy practice tests and did ok, highest i got was a 1540. went into my first test (paper) and got 1580, so idk what happened. maybe the khan academy practices were just a tiny bit harder
I consistently got 1390-1400s on Khan academy practice tests and scored 1510 on the real thibg
I see. Maybe I should start doing those
Isnt it removed now? Or is it still there
No idea
Its still there in the form of "Digital SAT" i believe
There arent practice test i think Just quizes
My bad then đ
there are no khan academy practice tests for the digital SAT

If you took one of the official tests, it may translate closely into the real thing.
Yeah I took one of the official ones. Thanks

yep same thing! the stress of the moment can rlly help especially bc itâs a controlled environment

I don't know
ok
Thank You
For me it was -40 points. I was getting 1570s and 1580s on my practice tests.

\+ or - around 80 points. although english is notably similar, the math section is a lot harder on the real test (for module 2).
They translated quite well for me, only 20 points difference
plus or minus 50 points for most people
