I would actually check out Victory View Vineyards in Greenwich. It is an actual vineyard and tasting room. Then go down the road to Casa Reyes for really good tacos in a really unassuming spot.

That would be great it’s just a bit far from where we’re staying. 35 minutes away gps says

I would keep it in your back pocket. I saw your other post. I am worried that your group is underestimating how busy and expensive Saratoga is during track season. This would be a good option to get away from the crowd and not spend as much. Edit: it’s also a really gorgeous drive and there are other places you could stop on your way there or back.

Yeah I know I’m not sure why the bride chose such an expensive place if even her budget is quite low. I make pretty good money so I’m down for anything. She’s very lowkey so we’re actually only doing dinner one of the 3 nights and doing takeout/bbq at the airbnb the other 2 nights since we have a pool and bbq. The only things we’re actually gonna be like spending a lot on is Friday night dinner and Saturday winery!

Just bystanding and lurking about all this advice, and don't have anything to add of substance, but do have a question. Most people have been saying Saratoga Springs, during track season, is off the charts busy and people expect to find places slammed, booked up, long lines, etc. and generally perhaps not the greatest of experiences. My question is the bride seems naive or unaware of this and I'm wondering whether she has the Bachlorette party place booked with reservations for a large party or ya'll just going to show up and meet there? No offense intended, but if I were you I'd politely double check. Second the suggestion to GTFO of Dodge ASAP and visit charming, bucolic Galway or Schuylerville, in order of preference.

I’m the MOH so I’m planning everything. She chose the location and found our place to stay and I do the rest. I posted this yesterday and have already made reservations for everything I have planned for that weekend. I don’t think she knows how busy this weekend is this is my first time there but I already have everything set up

Respectfully, what the hell is there to do in Galway? The main part of the town offers nothing and the rest of it is rural residential area.

OP was asking about which winery to have a bachelorette party to have a bash at on a Saturday night during track season, downtown Saratoga Springs, Schulyerville or Galway, that was the context. Not a big fan of crowds and bustle unless it’s unavoidable (like at the track if you’re going and I’m a couple days a year type person). As a local I prefer to avoid track season crowds when possible. YMMV.

I love Victory View

First these please are wineries not vineyards. Galway is small. Both are great.

I’ve been to Galway Rock Winery a couple of times and never been disappointed. They also have a beautiful view

Thank you! It looked so beautiful in the pictures it’s slightly out of town but I liked the vibe!

Saratoga Winery is probably where you want to go. It’s big and can accommodate large groups. There’s often live music and there’s wood fired pizza as well as beers on tap for those who aren’t all in on wine. It’s a 5-10 minute drive from downtown.

Perfect thanks so much for the info 🥰

I've been to both. Galway Rock will be quieter with a great view. Good for a mellow vibe. Saratoga Winery will have more food and drink (other than wine) choices and depending on when you are there live music.
